SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Heavily armed: The updated ZQ Infantry Support Unit sports a number of powerful weapon systems, including an NZ HLR-330, an NZ BCG-1.1 "Garuda" Coil Gun and a miniaturized NZ RTL1 Launcher
  • High performance: Because it uses a repulsorlift unit as its primary method of locomotion, the ZQ Infantry Support Unit is both fast moving and agile
  • Modular: Each ZQ Infantry Support Unit comes equipped with 4 modular hardpoints, giving the droid an excellent amount of versatility
  • Durable: ZQ Infantry Support Units are designed to operate in nearly all kinds of environments and within the worst environmental conditions possible, as they are supremely durable and well made
WEAKNESSES
  • Lightly armored: The ZQ Infantry Support Unit is lightly armored overall, to ensure that it is as lightweight and fast moving as possible
  • Repulsorlift: The ZQ Infantry Support Unit's Repulsorlift Engine is a notable weakpoint in the droid's design, and should it become damaged than the the ZQ will come crashing down to ground, unable to move
  • Maintenance heavy: Much like its predecessor, the ZQ Infantry Support Unit is a complex piece of Imperial kit, making the droid rather maintenance heavy
  • Obvious: When a ZQ Infantry Support Unit takes the field, everyone is bound to notice it, negating any attempts at being stealthy
DESCRIPTION

As the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant continues to expand its operations across the galaxy, its stockpile of original ZQ Infantry Support Units has dwindled down to nearly nothing, forcing the Imperial Remnant to restart production of the ancient droid design. Of course, the Imperial Remnant has taken steps to update the ZQ with modern day weapons, material, and technology, in an effort to make the droid even deadlier in combat.

The biggest department from the ZQ's original design is the inclusion of Ersteel 1333 and Ersteel SLCA in its construction, granting the droid excellent natural protection against most forms of attack. Of course, the droid remains lightly armored overall in order to ensure that it is as fast and lightweight as possible, and retains its predecessor's vulnerability to sonic, radiation and acid based damage.

The droid also retains its excellent speed and maneuverability, allowing the droid to quickly traverse over obstacles and across the battlefield in general, though its Repulsorlift Engine does remain a notable weakpoint on an otherwise sturdy and durable design. Like the predecessor, the ZQ Infantry Support Unit comes equipped with four additional Hardpoints for mounting weapons and equipment to, giving the droid an unprecedented amount of tactical flexibility for something of its size.

When used properly, the ZQ Infantry Support Unit is an excellent addition to any army's armed forces, and is especially well suited for accompanying special operation type units into battle, though the droid is also fully at home when supporting more "traditional" troop types or even other droids.

SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Sniper monkey: When equipped with its NZ LC-2A Laser Cannon, the Strider Droid can engage targets from long distances, potentially allowing it to avoid retaliation from enemy forces
  • Up close and personal: Alternatively, the Strider Droid can instead be optimized for close quarters combat by equipping either an NZ RF-600 Rotary Blaster Cannon or a Chin Mounted Heavy Flamethrower
  • Stealthy: The Strider Droid's Sound-Baffling Systems helps to keep its movement rather quiet, increasing its chances of sneaking up on its target
  • Night fighter: Strider Droids are especially adept at fighting during the night or in low light level conditions, thanks to their Infrared Photoreceptors
  • Speedy: Strider Droids are both fast moving and rather maneuverable, allowing them to traverse all sorts of difficult terrain with ease
  • BOOM: When critically damaged, a Strider Droid can activate its Self-Destruct Mechanism, potentially taking down its enemies with it
WEAKNESSES
  • Lightly armored: Though the Strider Droid boast moderate resistance against many forms of attack, the platform is overall rather lightly armored and vulnerable to EMP, Sonic, and Acid based attacks.
  • Large: Though the Strider Droid can move rather quietly, it is a large target overall, especially from a vertical perspective
  • Limited: The Strider Droid can only equip a single weapons system at a time, somewhat limiting its combat potential
  • Volatile: Should the Strider Droid's core be breached by weapons fire, it is highly like that the entire droid will detonate due to its Self-Destruct Mechanism being hit
  • BOOM: When the Strider Droid's Self-Destruct Mechanism engages, their is no way for it to differentiate between friend and foe, which can cause allied units to get caught up in its blast
DESCRIPTION

During a training exercise on Mon Cala, it quickly became apparent to the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant that some sort of light vehicle or droid was needed for operations involving challenging terrain such as jungles, since most of the vehicles in Mahporeenian inventory were either too large or too heavy to be properly deployed onto the battlefield.

The Imperial Remnant's solution to this problem was the Strider Droid, a combination of a DSD1 Dwarf Spider Droid and an All Terrain Recon Transport. Small enough to navigate jungles, forests, and other constricted spaces, the Strider Droid carries enough firepower with it to engage all types of threats, and can be optimized for both short range and long range engagements.

Strider Droids excel at ambushes and raiding, especially at night due to their Infrared Photoreceptors and Sound-Baffling System. That being said, Strider Droids are by no means invincible, and can be rapidly taken down by heavy weapons fire and other, more "exotic" forms of attack. Nonetheless, Strider Droids are a potent adversary when used properly and can meaningfully contribute to most battlefield situations.

SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Supremely cheap: The KX/B1 Monster Droid is designed to be produced as inexpensively as possible, allowing it to be manufactured in large numbers
  • Versatile: Because it has a humanoid design, the KX/B1 Monster Droid is capable of performing a variety of tasks
  • Small: The KX/B1 Monster Droid is a relatively small design, making it more difficult to hit at longer distances
  • Origami: When not in use, the KX/B1 Monster Droid can be folded up to save on space requirements
WEAKNESSES
  • Supremely cheap: The KX/B1 Monster Droid is designed to be produced as inexpensively as possible, and it shows in the droids construction and overall quality
  • Stupid: KX/B1 Monster Droids are rather unintelligence, and do not perform well against more critical thinking enemies
  • Weak: KX/B1 Monster Droids are quite fragile, and are able to be destroyed by most types of weapons and attacks
  • Inaccurate: Though they can use a variety of different weapons, KX/B1 Monster Droids can struggle to hit targets at long distances
DESCRIPTION

During the Clone Wars, B1 Battle Droids were produced by the billions, seeing combat nearly across the entire galaxy. At the end of the conflict, most of these droid were shut down by the Galactic Empire and sent to planets like Mahporeem to be scrapped for parts. The Empire would go on to declare B1 Battle Droids illegal, and would go to great lengths to ensure that all models of the droid were destroyed with extreme prejudice.

However, the Empire soon realized that these plentiful and inexpensive droids could be reprogrammed for a variety of different tasks, and soon contracted Mahporeem to modify them for Imperial use. To get around the ban that they instituted, the Empire had Mahporeem install spare KX-series Security Droid heads to the bodies of B1 Battle Droids, creating the KX/B1 "Monster Droid". Being a "new" model of droid, the Empire's ban no longer applied to it and they would become common sights across Imperial sectors.

Mahporeem uses these droids to supplement their military forces, though the droids make relatively poor combatants and are generally used to draw enemy fire or garrison already secured areas. Expendable and inexpensive, the Imperial Remnant is able to muster large amounts of these droids from their stockpiles of Clone Wars vintage supplies, and has decided to offer some of these droids for sale to the customers of the N&Z Umbrella Corporation.

DESCRIPTION

During the onset of the Clone Wars, Mahporeem found itself occupied by the Confederation of Independent Systems, which moved to immediately begin constructing droid producing factories on the planet. The Galactic Republic spent years fighting the CIS for control of the planet and these factories, and after the end of the conflict, succeeded in shutting them all down.

These factories remained dormant and forgotten during the reign of the Galactic Empire, as Mahporeem transitioned to a more junkyard focused economy. However, the collapse of the Galactic Empire caused a massive shortage of manpower on the planet, and the surviving Imperial Remnant made the decision to reactivate the B2 producing factories for use by the Mahporeem Imperial Army.

Heavily armed and tough to take down, B2 Super Battle Droids are nonetheless slow and clumsy movers, plodding along at a constant and predictable pace until either they or their targets are destroyed in battle. Since the Imperial Remnant has maintained a relatively large stockpile of the droids, it has been decided to allow the N&Z Umbrella Corporation to sell some of them on the Galactic Market.
