GENERAL INFORMATION

• Fleet Name: The Scarlett Dawn
• Classification: Independent Defense Fleet (Pirate Fleet)
• Affiliation: Zann Consortium

• Description: The Zann Consortium quickly found the need for a defense fleet an important one. It had to be large enough to easily over power planetary defense fleets of the isolated and somewhat poorer side of the galaxy, yet small enough to evade the larger faction fleets. It started off small, just a few light freighters and the occasional corvette mixed in, but then the Consortium found itself with a large surplus of credits after a string of successful pirating raids and found a Grievous-Class Star Destroyer on the Black Market being sold for the price of most corvettes and Frigates. It was an opportunity that they could not pass up. With the remaining of the surplus, the Consortium almost bought a Resolute-Class Supercarrier on the Black Market too, for twice what they paid for on the Star destroyer, but after further investigations, were able to find the same ship available on the open market for half the cost. With these two large Capital Ships to build from, the Consortium began to use their remaining credits on assembling a mighty support fleet including a host of Vengeance-Resurrections Frigates and Swordfish Frigates. After a few engagements with their top heavy capital ship fleet, the Zann Consortium, under the control of Scarlett Zann, planned to get back to it's roots in pirating. They were destroying too many valuable prize ships and not capturing enough. She then devised a plan to sneak in and steal some old archived plans from the Mon Cala Shipyards. It was a success and with a few tweaks of her own, the Mon Calamari Ion Frigate was born, and the fleet was able to disable and capture many more ships including a horde of CR-37 FarStar light carriers from system control fleets. To fit a more hit and run and attack from afar combat strategy, the Consortium invested in a few Broadside Cruiser (Corvette)'s to fit that role. After being very successful again in pirating, their fleet got a reputation and enemy and potential prize ships would simply run away. To counter this new problem, the consortium created a new type of Gravity Well ship the GW - Cruiser. With the GW-Cruiser, not only was the consortium able to pull off their small jobs but able to increase the size of the ships and fleets they could go after for prize. Once again, new areas of opportunity comes new problems. The larger fleets were getting a little overpowering due to the Consortium only having one Star Destroy size ship, and thus, Scar dug into the past archives and pulled the Keldobe-Class Battleship back into light. She made some obvious adjustments including heavy armor and a devastating primary weapon, and created the Keldobe-Class Battleship Mk II. She originally planned to make 5 of these bad girls, however had to limit it to only 2 for now due to budget cuts.

It is respected by the other pirate and criminal organizations.
