Description: The Corusca, while an excellent carrier for its size, was not capable of adequately defending itself against any hostile craft. As well, despite its ruggedness, the design was designed to leave its fighters if necessary, a poor decision considering the anti-fighter armament of frigates that could easily reduce the Corusca to space rubble. Thus was born the Iron Crown-produced Resolute-class Supercarrier.

Nearly four times the length of the Corusca, the craft's capacity has, as well, increased. Hordes of fighters and bombers can be carried inside the ship's massive hangar-space. A focus remains on ammunition-based weaponry, and the cluster missile launchers employed by the Resolute only exemplify the close-range anti-fighter bombard that the ship utilizes against its enemies. Hand in hand with this, however, are primary quad laser cannon batteries, specifically on the ship for mowing down enemy bombers that would attack the ship.

While the use of cluster missile launchers instead of more laser cannons does save energy that can be redirected towards the shields and engines, the Resolute is quite vulnerable to capital ship attack. There are some well-placed heavy turbolaser batteries, but too few of them are there to significantly be useful against anything frigate-sized or larger. They would be most useful for driving away corvettes that could threaten the Resolute's fighters.

First things first, apologies that you're having to go through this again. Following the wipe we've lost the information that ultimately landed this in pending, so we have to look at it again with new eyes.

I would like to see the you lose a squadron of fighters from your hangar, you have too many in there. I'm happy with everything else.
