Yuto Galvalini was born on the isolated planet of Quarzite. He showed strong signs of force-sensitivity early on, but his parents decided not to immediately give him to the Jedi Order. This led to the young Galvalini developing a far greater connection to his species and home planet than a majority of Jedi. However, tragedy struck when both of his parents died in a terrorist attack committed by Kage insurgents.
With his parents gone, Galvalini was given the choice of either living with some relatives he did not know, or joining the Jedi Order. When presented with this choice, he first became aware of his latent Shatterpoint ability (though he didn’t know what it was at the time). Through this ability, he was directed to choose the Jedi. Leaving behind his childhood home of Quarzite was not easy, but he found a new and welcoming community in the Jedi Order.
When Galvalini was ready, he was made the Padawan Apprentice of a Gossam Jedi Master named Xhet Baln. Master Baln was a well-regarded Jedi Investigator, and trained Galvalini to follow in his footsteps. The master-apprentice duo managed to solve many cases together, and continued to work together frequently even after Galvalini was promoted to the rank of Jedi Knight. The partnership only ended when Baln was murdered while investigating the Pyke Syndicate. Galvalini was never able to conclusively prove that the Syndicate was behind it, and to this day, he considers it the greatest failure in his career.

- Appearance: Yuto Galvalini is a 1.83 meter tall Belugan. Unlike other members of his species though, he lacks fleshy “sideburn” growths on the sides of his head. This is the result of a fairly rare genetic mutation, known as “Kanaosso Syndrome”. Aside from this, he is actually considered rather handsome by Belugan standards. Galvalini is in excellent physical condition for his age, and can pull off surprising athletic feats with the aid of The Force.

The saber has an unusually long grip, and is best suited for two-handed wielding. Galvalini possesses a standard set of formal Jedi robes for official functions such as testifying at trials. However, he usually wears more practical Jedi garb, and often just wears civilian clothes when out in the field to avoid attracting unwanted attention. He always carries his official Jedi Investigator badge on his person, even when off-duty. He can often be seen carrying a large, green travel mug full of Stimcaf, his favorite beverage.

- Personality: Yuto Galvani is a deeply intellectual individual. He has interest and knowledge in a wide variety of disciplines, ranging from chemistry to astropolitics and everything in between. But at the end of the day, his true passion is catching criminals. He works tirelessly in the pursuit of wrongdoers, and has been known to occasionally become obsessed with particularly difficult cases. His favorite beverage is Stimcaf, and he has been known to drink borderline dangerous amounts of it at times. He usually maintains a more relaxed demeanor than the stoic Jedi standard. However, he will become uncharacteristically furious when someone makes the mistake of insulting his Belugan heritage. More than a few criminals have learned this the hard way.
