You Keep What You Kill

“We can do that.” Kal’n replied to Valkren, taking his straight-hilted lightsaber in hand. He gestured for Travot to take the other side of the door. With the two of them working together Kal’n figured that the door would be slag in no time.

The familiar snap-hiss and yellow light of his lightsaber bathed over him as he stepped up to the hatch. Focusing on the task at hand Kal’n reached out to the Force, letting it flow through him and aid in cutting through the metal faster. It wasn’t a difficult task for a Jedi that was attuned with their own lightsaber, which was near all of them.

Still, the going wasn’t all that fast, and it would take a minute or two with Kal’n and Travot working together to get through the hatch. Once the two got close Kal’n would step back and to the side, again signaling for Travot to help he would stretch out his left hand and with some effort, send a telekinetic push at the circle they just made at the heavy hatch so it would fall inward and let Valkren and his men do what he figured they did best.

Travot nodded as [member="Kal'n Drasco"] drove his blade into the ship. Best get at it. The jedi padawan drew his own saber and flicked the secondary activation stud. His short, turquoise blade sprung to life with the characteristic snap-hiss of all lightsabers. He briefly gazed into its vibrant blade before driving into the ship opposite of [member="Kal'n Drasco"]'s blade. He concentrated on the material that the blade was cutting, aiding its edge by focusing on sundering the material. Several seconds later, the hull plating was severed from the rest of the ship. Travot glanced at the other jedi, nodded, and worked at pushing the metal inward, gently lowering into the ship itself so as not to make a clatter that might give away their intentions. He released his hold of the material, letting it lean up against a bulkhead perpendicular to the newly made hole. The padawan turned his gaze to [member="Valkren Calderon"] and whispered.

"Looks like you guys are up."

Valkren smiled behind his visor, letting his rifle hang from a chest rig that was attached to his chest plate as he approached the opening in the hull. "O'Riley, O'Connor..Watch the rear ramp of the dropship. Michaels and Watson, you two have the cockpit entrance..He should come out of one of those sides one the smoke plumes within."

Saying this, his men dispersed, O'Connor lifting the Z-6 Rotary Cannon from his back as he got into position, decompressing it and lifting it into a readied position. Calderon slipped a smoke detonator from his belt, slipping it within the wiring. He'd push his finger into a small loop on the exterior of the round object, giving it a firm tug away from the detonator.

Within seconds, smoke would pillow out of the side panel where the Sergeant was standing. However, most of the smoke was unseen as it actually crawled inbetween the wiring of the dropship, moving in to subdue it's foe.

Valkren stepped back, lifting his rifle from his chest and shouldering it, ready for anything as he took a few steps back. "Get ready."
