And that only caused Circe to crank up the heat. She had seen Force Lightning used by the most powerful of the bunch, learned how to make this particular Force power exceptionally potent. And she wasn't going to stop until Emily finally begged for mercy. That would be her tolerance level. Or when she went unconscious, which she guessed was equally fine.

"Sorry... but the best way you can learn is through experience."

The words were heard over the pain, which increased again, excruciatingly. Emily kept her defenses up as best as she could. The lightning equivalent to thousands of needles pelting her skin. As she made the ward stronger, the lightning's strength grew with it. It didn't take long. She collapsed, gasping for air, on the cold surface beneath her. The pain still lancing through every inch of her body.

Her first day of training was going to be long if it wasn't over yet.

And as she collapsed, Circe sighed, stopping and coming over to the woman. "Well... I guess we found your tolerance level out." A soft frown crossed her face as she helped the woman up. "Well, Emily... How do you feel?" She paused, giving a soft smile as she gave her apprentice a kiss on the cheek.

"That was good training, no?"

Pulling herself closer to Circe, Emily gave an exhausted smile. "Yeah...yeah it was. Can't say it was as fun as the one from a while ago." But it was time for a break. Emily was tired and ready to collapse. Which is what she did. She collapsed. Passed out. The pain was still lingering, but she was done.
