SPECIAL FEATURES:
- The deep red hue of the shell spider silk lining is derived from the Norris root dye used in its construction, enhancing the cape’s defense against energy weapons and lightsabers, elevating these to extreme levels of defense.
- The glistaweb top-layer protects against blaster-type weapons and gives an aristocratic ‘glow’ when worn.
- The design of the cape enables the droid wearing it to still enjoy full freedom of movement and unobstructed fighting capabilities.
- The cape also guards against kinetic weapons, radiation, and EMP/Ion weapons, offering significant protection to its wearer in the areas covered by the cape.
STRENGTHS:
- Offers terrifically extreme protection against blaster-type weapons, kinetic weapons, and lightsaber-type weapons, as well as considerably very high protection against all forms of radiation, including EMP/Ion damage.

DESCRIPTION:
Throughout history and across the galaxy, officers of military High Commands have worn capes to show their status and significance. For the Confederacy’s greatest droid commander, nothing less than this would do. So, to achieve this stylish bit of traditional aggrandizement, Visanj had a cape made. By weaving agrinium thread into the shell spider silk liner, dyed with Norris root, and outer layers of VT-Lattice Cloth, sunshield fabric, and glistaweb, Visanj created a cape which offered extraordinary defense against a great deal of potential threats, and its ‘cut’ ensured that Xerxes could wear it comfortably while engaged in personal combat, sacrificing neither movement or defense. However, at the end of the day, it is still just only a cape. Its coverage doesn’t extend to lower portions of the droid’s body and does not protect against biological or caustic substance attacks, nor against sonic weapons or high pressures. Yet, it marries form and function well: A jet-black cape with a glimmer of aristocracy, lined in blood-red silk, offering notable protections and allowing total mobility in battle. All in all, a garment more befitting the Confederacy’s elite droid commander, Xerxes, could hardly be imagined.
