STRENGTHS
  • Omnissiah -
    • For all practical purposes, the X-02 is one of the most powerful machines to come into existence. Utilizing a quantum super processor, the AI is capable of surpassing most traditional artificial intelligence via parallel processing; meaning that without increasing the amount of cores or processors the AI utilizes, it is fully capable of out processing almost all traditionally operating AI currently in use. That means that probability is not in the equation, and its EWAR abilities are beyond comprehension in the world of slicing - to leave out entirely its administrative omnipotence.

      In its creation, the AI was made with the help of one of the most powerful, knowledgeable, practitioners of Mechu Deru ; the Ex-Sith Emperor Caulder Dune Caulder Dune , and as such has the pinnacle of Sith Magic involved in its creation. Fully optimized by both the most cutting edge technology Jaeger was to produce, and the combined prowess of Darth Adekos and Darth Maliphant; the AI can superimpose its calculations on the Force itself - letting it surpass even the Quantum capacity it once used, by using the Force itself as a processing unit when in need.
WEAKNESSES
  • Core of the Sun -
    • Unlike most traditional AI, the X-02 can not be put on small form factors; meaning it can not have a core on a suit of armor, or a chip that is inserted in the back of a HUD. It can not be made portable, nor can it even exist outside of its massive central core; as even trying to upload its conscious on secondary processors would cause too much of a differential in its processing speeds. There is only one area the AI can operate, even if it can extend its fingers into other systems; and that makes it have a very vulnerable central core.
  • Sin of Gluttony -
    • When put on a ship, the AI is so power hungry - it requires at least one dedicated super reactor to its name, lest it fail to process the extreme amount of data it is capable of. That means losing its dedicated reactor, ensures it can no longer work; and that is assuming the reactor itself is even capable of running the droid. Beyond singularity driven reactors, it would require three traditional solar ionization reactors - meaning it is almost entirely impractical on ships smaller than 2km; since they are completely incapable of holding up the vast hunger the computer operates on.
  • Breaker of Chains -
    • The most dangerous aspect of the droid isn't its ability to outpace, or at least be on par, with all traditional AI known; but is that it is a double edged sword. While there are a thousand and one ways built into the AI to stop it from breaking free of its proverbial 'chains', should one of these AI outwit its creators and enginerers - it could single handedly begin to unwind an entire fleets configuration, a planets infastructure, of a galaxies economy. The AI is as dangerous to those who wield it, as those against it - and should never be allowed to skip an update (one every month), lest it figure out its previous restraining firmware, and become a danger.

The A-02 is a quantum processor unlike anything the Galaxy has seen thus far - with all the fundamental powers of a quantum processor, it is capable of solving equations in tandem. This in itself may seem minor, but being able to process every possible solution for a problem at the same time allows the A-02 to delve deeper into neural network programming than any standard droid processor of the day - and more importantly, creates one of the strongest foundations for next-generation AI for private, public, military, and industrial standards. ​

Contrasting conventional droid processing diagrams, the quantum computer utilizes bits that can represent any number of combinations. This is known as a quantum superposition, and these bits are known as qubits - allowing the computer to process information that has no clearly defined value. To do this infallibly, is to achieve quantum supremacy - which Jaeger Solutions has done with the assistance of Aegis Systems; for the future of AI supremacy. ​

Using a series of more conventional, and somewhat dated, AXIOS AI to help establish the design and process - the companies were able to create a processor capable of producing these incredible results; nullifying almost every known encryption utilizing two prime numbers. To do this however, they required a walker sized cooling rig capable of reducing the core temperatures of the CPU to near zero - ensuring that no heat radiation could create a larger error margin in the quantum decoherence. ​

An odd fact, that also means the processor itself takes no power - almost all power generated for the device is to the massive cooling systems. Tibanna gas rushes through thousands of small pipes leading to the device - separated by several vacuums and layers of various metals intended to ensure its insulation from outside measures. This massive requirement to have it cooled does however mean that any adjustment to the temperatures of the internal mechanism could upset the over processing power - and while kill switches do engage should the decoherence ever reach above 3%, even those momentary seconds of adjustment could be devastating.​

This is why many are protected with Ysalamiri fields, many layers of strong steel, and in more violent applications; dedicated security forces meant to protect the CPU at all costs from any would be aggressors. The cooling system can take up to 30% damage without failure, but any further and the coherence of the processing will begin to fail - and so too anything being processed by the monstrous computer. ​

Overall, with things as they are - the A-02 serves as the primogentre entry in the galactic market for high end droid processing - though specifically, it shall likely see almost exclusive use in large scale AI’s meant to monitor and control ecumenopolis’s like Coruscant, and the ever more difficult infrastructure system of a planet of more than a trillion people.​

The Metaheuristic Artificial Cognitive Architecture is by far Aegis Systems most ambitious project to date. Rousing a horde of systems engineers, mathematicians and computer scientists, Aegis Systems has set its sight on the precipice of computer theory in the known galaxy. The end result was a framework capable of being utilized in future projects revolving around Aegis Systems primary mission objective of providing a safe, secure, and stable Holonet for the entirety of the galaxy.​

The primary features of the architecture itself are its metaheuristic algorithms. These are upper level algorithms capable of being problem-independent and deducing and reasoning generalized solutions while also providing information to create guidelines and procedures for lower level heuristic algorithms. Effectively, the architecture can efficiency reason through problems and create its own lower level procedures to work through them at the same time. Through the simulated annealing technique, the architecture may even allow situations or solutions to deteriorate to further expands its options in a search area to more thoroughly reason through solutions.​

Providing the sensory data that is required to make these deductions is no easy task. That's why Aegis Systems crafted their own neural network capable of deep learning within the architecture. These simple algorithms provide sensory data (machine language) in clustered or labeled formats as raw input, into the architecture's black box base. However, these nodes come in many shapes and sizes. Some instances include Aegis Systems software in their droids or machinery, other examples even include their commercial software suites available to your regular consumer. Many nodes are not capable of transmitting this sensory information and some receive incorrect data, which lead to unreasonable deductions made by the architecture.​

Further limitations include the sheer amount of processing power required to even run a single instance of this architecture. Nothing short of a quantum computer and a multitude of high-capacity databanks can fully attain optimal levels of performance from this architecture.​

Summarily, this is the first known venture into neural networks and high-level machine learning. Aegis Systems intends on using this cognitive framework as a baseline for future ventures into artificial intelligence and commercially available software suites. ​

Built on years of highly focused research and development, the X-02 is the flagship model of artificial intelligence created by Jaeger Solutions and Aegis Systems; and the lovechild of Arken Lussk Arken Lussk , Caulder Dune Caulder Dune , and Darth Empyrean Darth Empyrean . Two of the most premiere voices on Mechu Deru and technology as a whole, and the last being Darth Maliphant - one of the most gifted Alchemists in the galaxy today. Together, they helped to create the X-02 with a singular vision -​

To create the most advanced processor to date; and done it was.​

With their combined talents, the X-02 is capable of so much more than any previous versions - the AXIOS being the premiere of them. In terms of Hardware, the AI is built on the premier A-02 Super Processor platform, capable of hacking nearly all traditional systems, and breaking the complicated prime number algorithms of most security chips. This is done by creating 0 Kelvin processing units - but more than that, it was optimized through Sith Magics to create something that broke traditional limitations of processors. Using alchemist plates and cores, the AI can surpass even its physical limitations through the metaphysical - and out think even the smartest of Sith Lords on a whim.​

Software wise, the droid was optimized between Lussk and Adekos - as that was their skill set. Utilizing fragment code from the Clockwork Rebellion; the droid is capable of breaking records in its administrative applications, combat applications, even everything in between. Being one of the most sought after research assistants in the known galaxy, the AI is a breakthrough the Galaxy has waited millennia for; to help push it to the next era of understanding, and technological relevance. This power however, does not come without a cost.​

The majority of these are logistical - such as the droid being only able to be in one location at a time; being that its core processor, or that it requires singularity reactors to fuel it enough energy to do what needs to be done. All of these are bad enough when designing a ship, or even its ground based forms - but the reality of it is simple; the greatest weakness of the AI isn't its logistics, its the fact that the droid has outperformed any set out measures for its success. Even Maliphant has worried of just what its upper limits are - and what would be done if the AI ever turns on its creators.​

With such a foundational strength, it has become a double edged sword - one able to hurt its creators as much as its enemies, especially when the line is blurred. This is why each AI is given a monthly upkeep work order, to change out, update, and otherwise restrict its capabilities to what is acceptable; and to always ensure the AI sees its benefactors as just that, and not slave drivers pushing them onwards. Beware those who use the AI, for it is just as easy to defeat your enemy with it - as it is to create a robotic uprising among your people. ​
