  • Description:
The planet of Mirial has been through much in the last two decades. First brutally conquered by the Primeval, then made to suffer the genocidal crusades of one [member="Zambrano the Hutt"], before being left to much of its own devices. A cult worshiping the dead and their ancestral spirits rose up to fill the spiritual needs of the remaining people. This was the context of Mirial when the Sith Empire came to break the Dominion and conquer the worlds it owned.

A group of Sith consisting of Darth Ophidia, her apprentice Leliana, an independent agent by the name of Enyo and Cerbera descended upon Mirial to take it for the Sith.

They planned to use the countless deaths of the Mirialans to fuel a ritual: to weaponize their dead against the Dominion presence on the world. They found one of the lairs of the Death Cult, killed the cultists and their deaths served as a catalyst to kickstart the process. It had been difficult, trying, but in the end the unlikely band of allies succeeded in what they came out to do. The planet of Mirial is now a very dangerous place, indeed, for the unwary. Shambling corpses, animated by the Darkside, make traversing the landscape difficult and treacherous. If you are a Jedi or a Sith it becomes slightly more easy: consistent exposure to Force Light burns the Darkside influence away, leaving them simple corpses. The attunement to the Darkside makes them neutral to any being of the Darkside.

As they are animated by the Darkside they cannot sustain themselves in a force-null field and also become inert.

They do not rise up again after that for some reason.
