STRENGTHS
  • Merchant of Death: Designated Primarily as a cargo hauler/relief vessel, it's in a curious legal space, as it's armament and defenses class it easily as a battle ship yet it's primary use is not dedicated to pure military undertakings, allowing it to skirt government regulations by a hairs breadth as well as public opinion on militarization efforts in the league, justifying it's arms and defenses as a response to current invasion attempts by the Sith and increased criminal activity such as piracy. In any case, it's extremely difficult to bring down, potentially requiring a large fleet to destroy. It's cargo space can be customized to any number of purposes either civilian or military. It can easily be a colony ship, hospital, invasion stronghold or anything in-between. It possesses Bacta Synthesizers and hospitals by default to help sell the idea that it's primarily a humanitarian relief vessel. It's shielding in both sections is extremely strong, enough to potentially raise the eyebrow even on Captains of larger vessels. In keeping with it's humanitarian image, it's armed primarily with Ion weapons to disable vessels as opposed to destroying them. With the Core Section boasting a highly accurate Composite Beam Ion Laser capable of disabling vessels its own size or larger. The Ring Section boast twenty smaller, weaker versions of the ion laser on the core Ship, capable of disabling ships over 700 meters in length, and can be made to focus their fire on one large ship in particular in a Alpha Strike. It also possesses powerful Magnetite Tractor Beams to potentially capture and hold in place Star Destroyer size vessels and have the range of the Starhawk tractor Beam
  • Express Elevator to Hell, going down: It's Core Ship can detach from the ring section and travel to the surface of a planet to deliver supplies...or troops. While the whole vessel cannot land, this Core Ship Function massively increases the versatile nature of the product as a whole, as it can be used almost like an elevator to cram as many civilians as possible to evacuate from imminent invasion...or to cram as many soldiers and material as can fit to subjugate a planet.
  • World Lock: The Core Ship has been upgraded, boasting the same extreme defenses as the ring section, and is now capable of traveling through Hyperspace as well. It has also within it a planetary Shield Generator, enabling it to protect an entire world from extremely devastating assault, such as orbital auto cannons
  • Self Reliance: Both parts of the ship possess HAPU Power Plants, allowing for potentially unlimited energy, and multiple Molecular Furnace Facilities means it can operate and self sustain for years without seeing drydock by converting raw materials
  • Express Shipping: It's ring section boasts a very fast 0.5 Hyperdrive taken from an Acclamator. It's Core Ship has an average 2.0 Hyperdrive
WEAKNESSES
  • Thin Hull: The Hull is made of titanium as opposed to durasteel to save on construction costs of refurbishing old vessels. The Hull is also slightly thinner than that of regular Lucrehulk's, leading the vessel to be more reliant on its shielding than normal. That said, Titanium is still excellent for a Hull choice
  • Slow Recharge: The Shields have an immense capacity for punishment but once depleted, recharge slower than normal battle cruiser shields
  • Snail: Poor at speed and turns
  • Outdated Electronics: It uses refurbished Lucrehulk electronic systems. This leads to load times in scans, target lock may take longer to acquire and Hyperspace jumps take longer for computers to calculate
  • Laser Weakness: The Core Ships main laser weapon is not an instant burst of destruction. It's beam requires staying on a vessel for about ten seconds to truly do damage to enemy electronics and its unable to adjust it's firing trajectory once it's fully plotted. Plus, it has extreme difficulty hitting vessels below 700 meters in length, and cannot target or track them as accurate. The composite Beam Ion lasers on the ring section are even weaker, requiring a full fifteen seconds of stating on target to properly affect a star destroyer size vessel beyond the cursory, and has no hope of hitting vessels smaller than 1000 meters, leading it to rely on its quad Ion turbo lasers more in a fight
  • Hyperdrive Weakness: After jumping four times in a row, the ring section hyperdrive needs 24 hours to cool down. The Core Ship can be much more practical to use in some situations, even if it doesn't get you where you want as quickly. The Core Ship Hyperdrive can take up to ten minutes to successfully plot a jump, however
DESCRIPTION

The Bacta-Works Heavy Cargo Hauler skirts the line between civilian and military applications, being very easily converted to full scale warship and invasion purposes but coasting by on its official role of cargo hauling and civilian evacuation/relief efforts, justifying the recent influx of refugees from Sith and Mandalorian Invasions as reasons for it's extensive armament and defense as it travels League Space. Cynics note these claims as slightly more buttered up justifications used by The Trade Federation during it's infamous military build up before the blockade of Naboo, and that Bacta-Works close relationship with The Trade League essentially ensures the league has more warships than are officially listed, and their primary patrol routes being the edge of League space ensures any excursion into league space can be met swiftly...

Taken from old Lucrehulk wrecks and refurbished. The cost required to do so, while vastly less than buying a brand new, state of the art vessel, both due to their essentially scavenged nature as well as certain cost cutting measures strained the efforts of the ambitious company until production costs were eased by money from Vera Mina Vera Mina and Westenra Mina Westenra Mina , silent partners in the project.

While the vessel certainly calls into question Bacta-Works official claim they are a purely humanitarian organization, conclusions may be muddled by the fact it is undeniably effective at it's official purpose.

DESCRIPTION


These fighters are very rare, turning up in limited squadron counts of four in well concealed stasis chambers, but are most often encountered on the Ession-Class Bulwarks hidden across the Galaxy. Fast, nimble and with a very long reach, these fighters are top of the line weapons for Jedi to use even today

Unusually for a Starfighter, there is a hand crank charging system for a back up power plant. Allowing you to charge up an emergency power plant for at least two Hyperspace jumps and a few emergency take offs/landings


STRENGTHS
  • Economic: Made of heavy stamped durasteel and heavy duty electronics designed to last year's without maintenance. It basically pays for itself in the long run
  • Backed into a corner: Designed to give Pilot's the best chance possible of coming back alive from an engagement, this X-Wing boasts unusually high defenses such as heavier than normal Deflector Shielding, A Heavy Ion Shield, Jammers, Deactivators, and chaff and flare launchers. It's hull is also thicker.
  • Gunner: Extra power generators and heavier barrels on the laser cannons lead to a doubled range and fire rate
  • Fight anywhere: Built to be able to remain and operate beneath water for extended periods
  • Clean Power: An Extreme capacity dynamo serves as a back up power plant, allowing the pilot to hand crank the starfighter to have enough power for at least two Hyperspace jumps and taking off or landing on a planet a couple of times. Yes. This X-Wing variant is, in an emergency, a wind up toy. It's main power plant runs purely on solar energy, it's foils designed like those of a Tie Hunter, with high efficiency solar panels on them. Normally, just exposing it to the sun is enough to charge it. And flying it in space can keep it constantly charged, especially if near a planet.
  • Engineering friendly: Built as simplistically as possible with streamlined internals so even a rank novice can understand it easily and repair it to at least minimal function with minimal resources (Minimal function is space/Hyperspace worthy with no other systems then a primitive emergency Sensor array and life support active. It's also so rugged it can last decades, possibly centuries without needing more than a basic tune up before reactivating
  • Variety: Can have it's weapons fire in both standard laser and an alternative Ion Damage mode
WEAKNESSES
  • Accuracy: It's range and fire rate is doubled at the cost of losing a third of the accuracy
  • Charge times: The Main Solar Power Plant takes *three days" of direct exposure to sunlight to charge up fully with enough energy to operate for a week with all systems active
  • Slow Recharge: Shields are very high capacity but once depleted are equally slow to fully recharge
  • Crank count. Better be ready to hand crank the X-Wing back to life 250,000 times. I repeat. Two hundred and fifty thousand times. So efficient it's done only as a desperate last resort when the main plant cannot be operated
  • Low Squadron Count: The expense of creating them ensures squadron counts of four only to off set the costs
  • No missiles: No missile launch mounts
  • No emergency dogfighting: If using the emergency generator, safety features in the computer prevent the pilot from doing anything but basic maneuvers or evasion to conserve power
DESCRIPTION

The BMC High-Defense X-Wing was developed in an area where fuel was scarce and disease everywhere, and the emphasis was on keeping valuable pilots alive rather than making the fastest of ships. All those concerns drove the development of this X-Wing, which was sold to worlds still strong enough to maintain a navy. Distributed during the Gulag Era when the Corporation was still solvent enough to build and field them, Stasis Chamber sealed hangars containing up to two squadrons (4 fighters a squadron) of these blasts from the past can still be uncovered all over the Galaxy. No manufacturing marks or serial numbers exist on any authentic surviving model.

  • Bipedal (Bacta) Tank: For a "Medical Exoskeleton" It sure seems designed an awful lot like powered armor, able to withstand extreme levels of conventional damage. It has miniaturized machinery and all the necessary ingredients to manufacture Bacta, enough to keep a person fully immersed in it as they move around (along with appropriate breathing equipment while immersed in the suit) It's extreme protections, such as a Droideka Bubble Shield in addition to a Mandalorian Power Shield, are justified as being absolutely necessary to safeguard civilian personnel from unexpected hazards, in addition to its Solid Titanium shell
  • Overdesigned: Made to keep all but the weakest, most critically injured patients alive, free of pain and with a limited form of mobility, the suit contains a full life support system to assist any sort of damaged heart, lungs, other vital organs along with disposal of waste products as necessary. The system also kills all sensation of pain and onboard medical computers calculate how the suit moves to avoid further injury to the patient, with room for intense cybernetic mods to the suit, to the point of being able to leave someone only as a living brain in a robot suit. The strength of the patient is enhanced to keep away physical threats. It's immense modularity almost seems to encourage full militarization of the suit and ambitious sorts find it can be very effective in conventional warfare already, more than a match for low to medium scale firefights, or against singular, dangerous opponents. (NOTE: Mods that change resistances require a new sub)
WEAKNESSES
  • Large: You'll stick out more than Darth Vader does at a childcare fundraiser. Everyone will be able to draw a bead on you. Good thing you'll be a juggernaut in this thing.
  • Slow: You'll be slower than Vader. A pleasant walk due to computer regulation making sure patients do not injure themselves.
  • Magnetic: Magnetic weapons and surfaces scramble it's life support systems, which can be deadly to the patient. Highly magnetic surfaces can make the suit adhere to them
  • Gravitic: Gravitic weapons can completely damage the computers and compromise the armor severely
  • Cryo: Cryo conditions damage the sensitive circuitry of the computer and can make the armor brittle
  • Sonic: Sonic weapons can completely crumple the armor
  • Charge time: The machinery in the suit takes a while to fill it up with Bacta, and until it is fully filled, the suit functions essentially on bare life support for the patient, unable to move as a safety feature.
  • Repair time: The machinery within is complicated and delicate, and takes expensive materials and equipment to fix to proper full condition
DESCRIPTION

The BWE Heavy Physical Therapy Suit, designed to help severely injured soldiers recover and have mobility, is one of many products by Bacta-Works that is easily used in military operations. While Expensive, It is nonetheless able to be mass produced and offered to both The Trade League Army and Navy, as well as multiple planets.

  • Double requirements for lethality: Yes, the Bacta Gas can be used in place of Tibanna, however, the amount of gas needed to make a Bacta gas blaster bolt lethal is twice what's required of Tibanna. Typically less range, and much more difficult to retro adapt to weapons than starships, often necessitating entirely new weapons designs
