DESCRIPTION

Originally conceived by the traitorous Tristan Evore as a concept design, the Regency-class Star Battlecruiser was intended to be the hammer to the Empire's anvil, addressing the Eternal Navy's lack of dedicated Siege Platforms. However, the design was confiscated by the Department of Advanced Weapons Research after Evore's departure and retrofitted to fit the new naval doctrine of the Eternal Empire.

The Regency underwent significant changes, including the addition of Anti-Concussion Field Generators and a honeycomb-structured hull for increased durability. Organic circuitry was incorporated into the vessel's systems, enhancing its resistance to ion weaponry. The Command Deck was internalized, housing the Flight Bridge, Command Bridge, and Flag Bridge. The ship also featured Gravity Well Projectors, a Prototyper, a Molecular Furnace, and various fabricators and synthesizers.

After the fall of the Eternal Empire, the Regency was found adrift in the Unknown Regions and reclaimed by the Zero Corporation at Tristan Evore's request. It became one of the first warships to be equipped with the Warspite Network and the Sovereign Protocol. Additional facilities, such as dojos and training areas, were added, making it ideal for hosting special operations. The Regency was eventually purchased by a shadowy intermediary working for the Church of the Dark Side, further enhancing its capabilities with advanced technology and communication suites.

Despite its tumultuous history, the Regency-class Star Battlecruiser remains a symbol of technological innovation and military might, serving as a testament to the ingenuity of its designers and the adaptability of its operators.
