Witches and Wyyrloks (Tygara)

[member="Valiens Nantaris"]

Deals were struck, bargains made. The Kraal would descend upon Tygara like a ravenous horde. They would kill, rape and pillage, for they were barbarians. Archangel would provide advanced technology and help divert the Firemane fleet.

Whether the orcs succeeded or not was quite irrelevant to Enyo. It was the best chance to hurt Kerrigan and those close to her. The arrogantly self-proclaimed demigoddess would be pulled from her pedestal. It would be justice. It would be revenge. The difference was academic. The Eldorai and Firemane were no better than the barbaric hordes that would be unleashed upon them.

Enyo believed this with every fibre of her being, for if she did not, she'd have nothing left. Her entire existence would be a lie. Archangel would save the worthy from the Sacking of Tygara and elevate them. One day, the Kraal would be offered the same choice: Submit to processing or be exterminated.

She was impassive when she stared out of the observation deck while the Lightbringer shot through the blue tunnel of hyperspace. It was said that gazing into hyperspace for a prolonged period of time could induce madness, but looking at the kaleidoscopic, swirling patterns of light was soothing for her.

Her eyes gazed into a seemingly endless black abyss of hyper-extended stars and she saw an fathomless void. It was as empty as the universe. There was no good, there was no evil. What had the universe ever done for her? There was only Archangel and Amara. Most organics were just bad code who'd never appreciate what Archangel was doing for them. Revenge was within her grasp. Her mind was far more orderly and tidier since she'd been rebuilt.

And you'll still be bound by invisible chains. A pawn on the chessboard. Until you've outlived their usefulness and they process you two. What a waste. What was that? Had she just heard a voice. No, that was nonsense.

"Who is there?" she asked aloud, feeling a bit disconcerted.

You know who I am, girl. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a figure. Tall and imposing, encased in a mechanical shell and with her face obscured by a demonic mask. An aura of dark power surrounded her. I'm the one who's not a slave to machine puppet masters. Her words dripped with venom.

"You're just a shade. An illusion," Enyo grunted.

Everything you think you know is a lie. Deep down, you know this. Suddenly, there was another voice. Whereas the first had been mocking, this one was gentle and a bit sad, but still firm. The figure bore the face of Enyo...of Siobhan, and wore a white dress.

Oh, it's big sister from another universe. Ignore her. Kerrigan deserves to perish, but kill her for yourself not mechanical parodies of life. Archangel should be yours and Amara's.

She still hasn't learned. She's too consumed by her own hatred. There's hope for you, but time is short. If you face me, you'll die. Archangel told you they serve the common good, but they make you ally with Sith monsters and barbarians. What do you think they'll do with you and Amara once you're not needed?

"Shut up! None of this is real."

Oh, but if we're not real, what does this say about you? Perhaps you're insane. I'd keep that secret from your masters, or they might decide your mind needs to be adjusted again.

"Adjusted? What do you mean?!"

Session one.

You will not remember this session. You will not remember this session. You will not remember this session. At this point, Enyo was hyperventilating. Her head hurt like hell, sweat dripped down her skull, the incessant, mechanical rasp of her breathing echoed inside her ears. None of this could be real. She was not going insane.

Her mechanical fingers clenched and unclenched as if moving of their own accord as she tried to make sense of what was happening. By now, the clone was on the brink of a panic attack. It's not too late to choose your path. If you stay a pawn, you deserve your fate. Shut up!

"Enyo, are you alright?" Abruptly the voices were silenced and the shades vanished, when Vess suddenly appeared by her side. The clone had not sensed her coming, but then the HRD was very good at moving silently.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just thinking. Everything's alright." Enyo did her best not to flinch when a deceptively human-like, warm hand was placed on her shoulder. Slowly, her breathing returned to normal.

"Are you sure? I heard voices. You know you can talk to me about everything."

No, I can't. "Yes, I am sure. I don't need someone to hold my hand," the clone snapped. "I'm not a pathetic, weak organic ruled by feelings." She holds your leash. You'll have to destroy her.

"Of course. You're far more advanced than them, the perfect balance between machine and organic. And you've done Archangel and the entire galaxy a great service," Vess spoke soothingly, before nibbling on Enyo's ear and massaging her neck. "You're under a lot of stress. I can help you relax and make you feel better."

"I am pretty fine too, considering!" She smiled awkwardly with a nod. Well, she probably didn't look that good and looked like a pirate with lots of bandages and stuff, but anyway, she didn't want people to worry about her. The fact that she met a person just like her made her relax a bit, she was almost the younger version of hers with less awkward and no lekku. The conversation seemed to be going well thus far! And when she commented about Ice and his adorableness, the awkward smile of hers was replaced by a sincere one, looking at Ice being all happy finally finding someone to pet his head! Which was never enough for the huge wolf. "He is, isn't he? His name is Ice." She said, with a more relaxed tone. "I think he likes you!" Well, Ice liked everyone who liked him back, but that was besides the point! And he was a great conversation keeper, if that was the correct term for it, helped her a lot to have less anxiety speaking to people.

After a smile and nod to Sio for a brief introduction and the compliment, with a slight blush on the cheeks since Nima could never handle compliments in a normal way, she turned to Alize once again, and nodded to her. "Nice to meet you, Alize! Sio is a great teacher, and you'll learn a lot if you stick with your training! It's going to be quite a journey and I hope you'll be successful." One way to handle compliments was to counter-compliment the one who complimented you. That explanation seemed complex but the process was easier than saying it. Also, training was one subject she could talk about without getting red cheeks because of her background as an ex-Jedi Master and she was used to have those talks. She took one bite from her salad afterwards, the hunger winning the fight going inside at last. Did that look awkward? Was she looking at her?... Nope no she wasn't, was she? Would she th.... Okay, calm down, breathe in, breathe out....That was better. It was a normal thing, after all this was a buffet!

Meanwhile, as the two shy ladies talked to each other, tension was growing at the table with the others. Joza, who she heard the name of the Zeltron as they talked, seemed to be pregnant. But... something about her tone seemed she wasn't telling the whole truth and avoiding the talk, or it could be just her mentalist nature and overanalyzing things. Nonetheless, she decided to stay out of the talk for now and concentrated on eating her salad.

Ice, at the other hand, was wagging his tail like crazy and inviting his new friend to play with him.

Myrra smiles a little bit, and it's... Unexpected, looking back down at her plate she sets the fork down. Sitting back into her seat, the former Jedi shadow crosses her legs and watches with content as Eileithya speaks. She spoke about battle and the hardships warrior face, she spoke of not having a talent for firearms; although Myrra was sure the Priestess could charm her way in and out of any given situation. There's a warmness in the atmosphere and the brunette wonders if she could have felt this sort of warmness in an earlier point in her life. "Perhaps we could explore more of it, together, I mean," she offered? Myrra wasn't entirely sure what she was offering, "uh I mean." She cleared her throat and scratched at the back of her neck with a nervous smile. "If, if you would want to that is," and then put her hand back down.

"I'd uh, well, if you could recommend someone to me from Angelii then that'd be great," she says but right now, she's not entirely interested in shooting ranges or battles. She's happy, just to sit and listen to Eileithya speak. "Maybe I could... attend one of your sermons, and hear you speak."

Meanwhile...

Charlyra Araano's eyes opened, alarms went off and she was gasping for air. The doctors and nurses rushed to her and started to calm her down but she was frantic, not knowing what else to do they contacted the only people they could think of that could calm her down. "Get Mistress Kerrigan! Get Mistress Tempest! Hurry!" A nurse shouted as they tried to calm the Acolyte down.

If Eileithya noticed that she was having an effect on the retired Shadow, she did not show it. The atmosphere was very warm and she was always happy when an outsider took an interest in the Eldorai faith! Yes, totally. "I know an Angelii Seraph who could help you out. Her personality is...very rough around the edges and a bit abrasive, but she's good at her job." Rough around the edges was putting it lightly, oh handmaiden of Ashira.

"I'd love it if you could attend. Only few non-Eldorai do, but they're very welcome. We try to make things less stuffy than in the past," she said with a self-deprecating laugh. Her hand reached out to cover Myrra's and stroke it gently. "I lead the choir. Mind you, all the sermons take place in Eldarai, but I can give you a translation device so that you can follow...and enjoy my voice." Not trolling at all.

However, in this moment a nurse appeared int the cantina. Moving with purpose, she moved towards the Priestess and the former Jedi. "Reverend Mother, Master Jedi, Charlyra Araano just woke up. The head doctor is going to inform Grandmistress Kerrigan."

Clearly there were some cultural differences that influenced Siobhan's response to Joza. Along with some suspicions involving a certain evil Sith she really needed to punch in the face some time. Regardless, for the time being Sio decided to bury the issue.

"Yes, smoking and drinking is a no-no. Sex, on the other hand, is still fine. You'll just need to adjust the positions a bit. And I'm so giving you a thorough lecture on contraception," the Countess said with a completely straight face and a tone of utmost seriousness.

"Have you had a medical checkup yet? You can visit Eileithya if you need one. She did the same for Laina when she was having her kid." It seemed the Eldorai Priestess was very versatile, since she always ended up playing spiritual guide, relationship counsellor/psychologist and doctor. Then again, it gave her the chance to convert the heathens to the Great Goddess Ashira!

She turned her attention to Alize and Nima. Both were being a bit shy in a cute way. "There's plenty of things Nima can teach you, Alize. She's very good on the mental side of things. A lot better than me." Flattery was always good, and in this case it was genuine!

Since the Rosenheim Scion had declinded having a wine in the interest of not embarrassing herself, Harmony got her some juice. "Nima, I'll have to take you to visit one of Alize's boutiques. And Joza's. By the way, Jozie, I was quite impressed by your Force imbued heels. I'll have to order some."

The Countess gave HK a nod. As for the planet with all the droids on it, they totally still needed to visit it. "Seems we're on the same page, HK. Excellent. We can work out the details over the coming days." And now Siobhan had finally caught up on most of the conversations going on around her. Presumably the doctor's call would reach her in the next post or so.

"I'd absolutely love it," Myrra said without blinking because at this moment, the Priestess could be reading off a grocery list and honestly, the Shadow wouldn't have cared. Clearing her throat she added, "and I'm sure whoever it is you have to recommend - I can handle them." Mostly. Myrra was going to say something else when a nurse approached the table, she was a Knight really but she'd take the promotion and thanked the nurse. "Thank you," she says and rushes out of the cantina to reach her sister.

In the room, Charlyra has gotten a grip of her surroundings but her body feels - well it feels different. The force? The force, she could not feel the force and if she did - it was faint. And then it dawned on her, Yuna had taken them away from her until she could respect it properly or something like that. Otherwise the next time, Charlyra could very well die from pulling another stunt like that. She had just enough to wield a lightsaber although not nearly as effectively as she had done so before. Myrrashai walked into the room and could feel the difference, "Charlyra?"

"Myrra?" She questioned wanting to know how it was her sister was here, "and Priestess Eileithya?" She was sure that was the Priestess, "what-"

Quietly the Shadow walked around the bed and sat beside her sister. "I was notified of your status." Myrrashai replies and scoots a little closer as she looks around the room and sighs, "please tell me you didn't hit anyone."

"No," Charlyra remarks and looks down at her body, "although I attempted to pull the lines out."

"Well you're okay, and that's- that's all that matters," even if Myrra knew by this point Charlyra's force aura was gone. "I'm here."

Eileithya was not sure what to make of Myrra's response to her words, but gave the nurse a grateful nod and followed the Jedi out of the cantina. Soon they were back at the hospital room, where Charlyra had wokened up. She watched the two sisters reunite before she spoke her piece.

"It is good that you're awake. And that you did not hit any nurses. They worked very hard to save you. Your Sciia is disrupted," she spoke in a gravely tone, stepping forward and placing a hand on Lyra's forehead.

Her eyes closed for a moment, then her palm glowed with an eerie blue-white light. "Your flame has not gone out, but your aura is drained. You exerted yourself too much. You're fortunate to still be alive, thank the Goddess. This should be a lesson to you."

There was a unique feeling in the air, but it was a feeling - a presence that was familiar to Myrra and Charlyra. A cool breeze seemingly from nowhere swept through them, touching their spirits. Charlyra closed her eyes as the tears began to well up, her nose turned the color of sadness. Myrra's eyes were also full of tears as she took her younger sister's hand in hers, "I should have been there for you." Her chest moved up and down with her guilt, "and I should've saved Yuna."

Charlyra pulled her sister's hand to her chest, "there was nothing that could be done, neither you nor I..." and a pause, "and I as your friend speaks, did much more than I should have been capable of." Her voice is quiet and she looks at her hands, "Yuna-unni was there with me, I saw her, Myrra."

Myrra's face changed completely, how was it possible? And then as she blinked away her tears she realized, that Yuna... the wisest of the three sisters would have found a way. "I feel her, even now."

"She saved me, and I didn't deserve it," Charlyra cried as the tears came again, "I should have been left to die on Castameer."

"Igu!" Myrra cursed, "what good would that have done?! Leave me to feel as if I have failed you both."

Charlyra shook her head, "I don't know, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

The elder Araano pulled her younger sister into a hug, one half way onto the bed and the other half way off. Both feeling the weight of their transgressions, one now nearly severed from the force and the other helpless to do anything for her. And both, felt the absence of the oldest sibling. Yunalora who now had gone on to become part of the force, her essence, her life, and her memories all now into the singular force. The one thing that connected them all, Myrra took a breath and held her sister close, "I am the one who should be sorry. I should have found you sooner."

Then a quiet stillness came over them both as they held each other for a few moments longer. Myrra leaned back into her seat and took her younger sister's hand. Examining it she put her own hand into it, "you will be fine, in time." A pause, "and until then perhaps you and I could see to some of that Angelii training."

Charlyra shakes her head, "I must atone to my masters, they warned me against such foolishness and I did not heed their warnings, thus I must face them before I do anything else."

"I understand."

"So does this mean you will be staying, Myrrashai?"

The older brunette looked to her sister and then a glance toward the Priestess, "yes," she looks back at her sister, "I will be staying, as long as it takes to bring you back."

"Good."

"Adaso," Myrra acknowledges, "Eileithya, thank you."

Eileithya watched the emotional scene between the two sisters. "Do not think of failure. Charlyra, you should not have been left to die. Myrra, you still have a sister to care for. What you both need is time to connect. The circumstances are sad, but the Goddess brought you two together. And one day you will see Yuna again."
