BIOGRAPHY:
Born on the planet of Aargau to Victor and Evelynn Helranth. He had been born into the life of luxury, but his life was far from without trial. His father was a fair business man and owned the Bank of Aargau. He grew up on his large family compound. Starting from a young age, his parents taught him languages and his grade education. By the age of 9 he knew 17 languages. His father, alongside his teaching would teach him the business of finances and banking. He developed in
William a sense of code or morals. When he was 12, his father had a servant take William’s food before he could eat it to show him just how quick something “guaranteed” can be taken away.
At the age of 14, William joined the Imperial Academy. His marksmanship proved to be ok, and his hand to hand was subpar, but his fortitude to tactics and leadership was extraordinary and even broke the record for fleeting by ending a full scale fleeting mock trail in an hour and thirty-seven minutes. In the Academy, he was introduced to a game no longer played called Chess. He proved to be naturally skilled at it and would play it with anyone who knew it.

In his third year he was made the commanding cadet over the Academy and worked alongside the Imperial officers at the Academy. One in particular, Officer Ladix was one who the now named Helranth did not see eye to eye with. Officer Ladix was a revered officer who had won many battles as commander, but was injured during one and was relocated to the Academy. His distaste for such a role was evident in how he treated the students, Helranth being the focus.

One even after a meeting to discuss a fleeting exercise coming up, Helranth came across Ladix speaking to a hologram in a storage closet on his way back from the dorm. Helranth listened in and learned that Ladix was trading Imperial secrets for money to gain the means to fix his injury and get revenge on the Imperials who gave up on him. Helranth learned all this over the course of a week as he gathered information in bits and pieces.
Helranth knew nobody would believe him due to the tension already well known between the two so he had to save the Imperials his own way. He first began by gathering information about Officer Ladix on a more personal level. He learned he was seeing a Twi’lek on the world below. He also learned that Ladix was up for promotion to be on the Academy board which meant a significant pay raise. Lastly, he learned that the Officer was formally married, but it ended in divorce from an unfaithful spouse which drove Ladix to drinking which result in him being drunk during a battle which led to his injury.
Over the next two months, Helranth plants little clues in Ladix lover’s living quarters planet side to suggest another man or men had been there. He would also use a voice coder to leave messages on her voice recorder knowing when she would not find them, but he would and come to the conclusion that she was cheating on them. Finally, on the morning before Ladix’s regular visit, Helranth drugged the woman and hired a man to sleep with her and stay the night.
Ladix would find them in bed and in his rage would shoot the man and strangle his lover to death.
Upon his return he would return to the bottle, but was not fully broken. This was until a hologram of the Academy leading Officer and Captain appeared to inform him that he was to report to the council for a court martial for his treason and that his promotion was lost. With a mixture of the hurt of being betrayed, killing his lover, the wine and now the fear of being executed, Ladix used his own gun to take his life. The hologram was made by taking holograms from the meetings Helranth attended and putting them together to make him say whatever he wanted.
With Ladix dead, Helranth was promoted to replace his officer even before graduation. Upon graduation, Helranth went into the Imperial forces and became an Officer out of the gate. He was quickly promoted for his loyalty and his perfect success rate. He had a reputation for using less resources and time, but accomplishing more than his peers. His reasoning was simple, people were predictable much like chess. There was no such thing as endless possibilities. All moves were determined and if you kept a level head and did not over react you could predict and then trap your opponent and even force them to make the moves you want.
It was this belief that drove Helranth. Power was an illusion, you did not need guns, lightsabers, or even the Force to be powerful, you merely needed to outsmart those who stood in your way. He prefered to end things quickly and not waste resources, but to get results he was not afraid to sacrifice or wait to accomplish the results he sought.
He was made an admiral by 28, but had to leave the arm forces to return to the family business. The Bank of Aargau was suffering from a broken economy. Upon returning, Helranth began to help his father who he still had a close relationship to bring the Banks to a profitable. He took risky moves to restore profits by lowering loan interest rates and dropping application fees.

He also struck deals with organizations to provide them better deals for their business. This proved to bring in more people which ultimately brought the company back to profitable in a mere two years. During the two years, he had been researching how the Banks became unprofitable and saw money was being stolen. After a year of research, he found the source was his own father. Upon confronting his father he learned his father was in a large amount of debt from a gambling addiction and was using bank money to stay afloat.
Learning of his father’s disloyalty to the company, Helranth drew a gun and killed him. He truly loved his father, but loyalty to those you serve above all. Helranth then took over as the CEO and Owner of the Bank of Aargau and continued to increase profits and minimize loss. He became one of the most wealthy people of his time, but he missed the purpose the Imperial life gave him. It was then he heard of the Sith Empire and then joined them and convinced them that he was the man who would serve as the Grand Moff.
