OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

 • Intent: Disregard Females, Acquire Currency

 • Canon: No.

 • Links: Dark Side of the Moon - development.
SETTING INFORMATION

 • Space Station Name: Wildlands Game Reserve

 • Station Model:Worldcraft

 • Classification: Tourism

 • Location: Corporate Sector

 • Affiliation: GenoHaradan - Zareca Cartel, Helix Syndicate, Fa Holdings.

 • Population: Insignificant Population.

 • Demographics: Diverse.

 • Accessibility: Open and easily accessible to those who can afford the ludicrous prices.

 • Description: The Wildlands Game Reserve is quite possibly the largest artificial hunting grounds in the galaxy. The Reserve itself is a refurbished Worldcraft sphere, recovered from dereliction by Fa Holdings and the Helix Syndicate. These two corporations have leased the sphere to a dummy corp called Wild Hunts, which is a face for the Zareca Cartel.
DEFENSES
N/A

POINTS OF INTEREST

The Longhouse:
The Longhouse is less a house and more miniature city. It is the only building on the sphere and serves as both small spaceport and lodging for hunters. The building resembles a Wroshyr tree and is located in the middle of Zone 1. Hunters can rent speeder bikes from the Longhouse in order to assist their travels. Scenic rooms are also available, as are exotic foods.

Guild Lodge:
In the Longhouse, Corondex Arms operates a vendor run by the droid Sir Pemberton, where hunters can purchase a number of different weapons for their hunt. However, if the hunters wish to use more traditional methods, they can rent weapons from Running Boar, a famed Tunroth with many kills to his name.

Arms Vendor:
The Bounty Hunter’s Guild also has an entire branch of the Longhouse dedicated to their Guild Lodge, where bounty hunters licensed by the Guild can rest and recoup while they acquire new contracts. The first portion of the Lodge is a help desk. Members will be greeted by the receptionist, who has a double-barreled ACP scattergun under the counter. Wanted holograms are plastered all over the reception area. From here, there are two doors. One door leads to a common room, where members can gather to drink at the Lodge bar, eat, and tell stories of their latest exploits. The other door leads to a state-of-the-art series of holding cells, where bounty hunters can drop off their catches. Behind the common room are the various temporary housing spaces available to Guild members who need a space to lay low for a few days.

Zones:
The Reserve is divided into six separate zones, each comprised of a different climate. Zone 6 is advertised as a “hidden zone” underneath the ground, whose several entrances are concealed somewhere in the other five zones. Each zone is inhabited by game native to that climate.

Zone 1 - Savanna
Zone 2 - Jungle
Zone 3 - Wetlands
Zone 4 - Forest
Zone 5 - Tundra
Zone 6 - Underground Caverns

Sublevel-Laboratory

Underneath Zone 6 is a large underground laboratory, which can be accessed via a staff-only turbolift in the Longhouse. There are numerous security measures in place so that only those on a need-to-know basis can access this lab. In the laboratory are numerous cloning vats overseen by an Arctis Genetics scientist. These vats grow replacements for the exotic animals that are killed by the hunting tourists. They can also modify the animals, making them more deadly by fiddling with their genomes.

However, Blackthorne Beastiary provides the original beasts, secured from the wild. The Beastiary also has several beast masters on site with access to the lab and all six zones who consult on how to handle and care for the various animals during their presumably short lifespans.

A highly kept secret of the Reserve is that for the select few customers rich enough and depraved enough, the Reserve offers a hunt where patrons can chase the deadliest game of all… other sapients.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The history of the Worldcraft sphere prior to its refurbishment is lost to the annals of history. It is suspected that whoever built and inhabited the sphere died off during the Gulag Plague.

I'll be taking over this submission. Apologies for the delay on this.

This is an interesting concept I don't think I've seen around here before.

I have no issues with anything here, and I imagine we can get it approved shortly. However I want you to update the template to fit the new format released by the Codex. I notice a few fields are missing.

Thanks

As far as I can tell, the following two are missing:
 • Demographics: [Please describe the general assortment of inhabitants. Is it mostly humans? Mostly aliens? A fair mixture of the two? Specific species percentages are welcome but not required.]
 • Accessibility: [Describe logistical information on how easy it is to find/access this location. Is it hidden? Is it isolated from society deep in space or is it in the middle of civilization near busy hyperlanes and star systms? Is it guarded? Open to the public or private access only?]

You may have all the sections of the template but you have completely reordered everything. My templates are ordered the way they are on purpose. Please edit your submission to fit the exact template layout, as it appears in that post that you, yourself, referenced. This is the order the template should be posted in:

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
 • Intent: [State why you are making this submission.]
 • Image Credit: How to properly source your images
 • Canon: [Is this a canon location? If yes, please link to the original location wiki here, if no simply put N/A.]
 • Links: [Provide links to any relevant threads, characters, companies, locations, equipment, etc here.]
SETTING INFORMATION
 • Space Station Name: [Name of the nexus.]
 • Station Model: [You must provide a link to the Approved Space Station entry from the Starships Factory Forum or a link to a canon non-combat space station.]

 • Location: [Please link the planet around which this station orbits or describe its location relative to local star systems on the map.]
 • Affiliation: [Who owns this location? A person? A faction? A government? List all relevant characters or groups. If not applicable put N/A.]
 • Population: [Choose between: Heavily Populated, Moderately Populated, Sparsely Populated, Insignificant Population, or No Inhabitants.]
 • Description: [Provide a short paragraph that describes this location at a glance. More in-depth descriptions can be added in nexus effects and points of interest.]
DEFENSES
[What defenses does this Space Station have? Please link relevant tech/equipment to the SW wiki article or Factory-approved submission.]

POINTS OF INTEREST
[What areas within the station are significant? Please give a description of each point listed.]

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
[Please include at least one paragraph on the location's history. Include who created it and why. Who supports this station now? What purpose did/does it serve? For older locations you can include historical events such as the Gulag Plague, the 400 years of darkness, and the Netherworld event where appropriate.]

Hrm. Worldcrafts are something we haven't approved for Codex use before. However due to the nature of this particular worldcraft being that it has zero defenses and has been re-purposed as a civilian tourist destination, along with the history you have devised for its usage, I'm comfortable allowing it in this case.
