Danger Five, XO
Before heading back to the Core to regroup with Starchaser and those that he could help run out to the Rim, Cuan felt it was probably worthwhile to run out to the Rimward Trade League. With the Confederates sniffing around his home world, the Sullustan spent just enough to get home, see his family, update the Home Guard, and resupply his own vessel. His ship was a long ways from his old XJ9, but the Starbird Shuttle that he was flying, the one he used for missions with Peyton when the Underground came calling, was a slick little ride.
Still, he was a bit cranky as he pulled from light speed. Susevfi was seeming to be the beacon out here. Terminus used to be, his home world used to be, but the galaxy was changing. The Alliance had turned its attention inward, the Silvers too. The Rim was wild again. It was nice to have that, but it made safe houses a bit of a crap shoot.
As he landed, the Sullustan made his way to one of the more frequented bars, he knew that many of the Trade League would find themselves here between trips and missions. Kaia had shown it to him. Still, the humanoid made his way in, changed out of his spacers gear and Home Guard jacket into a more bright colored, almost offensively orange, shirt that was opened to his under shirt. Maybe it wasn’t really appreciated in the more civilized planets, but neither was his disruptor pistol.
Stepping to the bar, he ordered himself a Sullustan Fireball and took a look around. Seeing one of the Ishi Tib he had flown with on more than a few runs. “Hear anything of any jobs going Core wards?” Anyone was free to answer that, clearly. If they could understand the Basic he was speaking, a bit garbled.
