Why Wait for Darwinism? [Fel Dominion of Kad V]

Astrian sighed. "Alright." With a flash of the orange blade, a thick meaty arm went flying across the floor. The darth cringed in pain as his saber arm toppled to the ground. Turning away Astrian gripped his right hand. The sith choked, he was surprised at the fact the Imperial Knight was using such a power. The sith choken and gargled as the pain from his arm surged through his body and he lost the ability to breathe. After a few moments of choking the life out of the sith, Astrian released his grip. The sith lay exhausted, he was dazed and weak. Lying helplessly limp, the darth lay angrily against the ground. Regaining his power, he turned on his death bed. Eyes burning with rage lay upon Astrian. Then, the elevator at the end of the hangar sprang open. Two sith apprentices and a group of twenty storm troopers rushed from the elevator. The darth screamed, a burst of dark side energy knocked back @[member="Lysander Sullivan"] and his troops.

One of the sith apprentices threw him a blade, he pulled it to him. The blade activated, and he charged with the blade in his left hand now. "I'll kill you!" He chanted, rushing Astrian. "Apprentices, to me!" The sith called and the storm troopers turned their gaze from Astrian, and turned their automatic blasters on the fallen Fel troops. Twenty blasters shooting at high velocity rained upon the Fel troops; Astrian however had sith to worry about.

Other Space Kaiden

Better than other-other space Kaiden
Ronin's gunships came in hot to the Sith ships hanger, their hulls being littered with small arms blaster fire as soon as they broke the barrier between the Sith's hanger and the void of space. The pilots disregarded the hail of gunfire and simply pulled the triggers on their controls, send their own wave of hell against the Sith who fell to the ground as the powerful cannons of the gunship tore through the stormtroopers. As the cannons rocked the hanger, the gunships set down on the deck and the doors slid open to reveal Ronin and all who accompanied him.

Flying with the Blue Squad was something simple for him. He didn’t need to worry hard on the protection. He knew that Black group were going to be doing their thing, and pulling fire from the capital ship while the Reds and Blues distrated the fighters. Really, distracting here was more destroying, but he wasn’t going to be picky.

Taking his flight group and jumping ahead of the rest of Blue Squad, Jared was trying to get himself in front of the gunships that were deploying from the capital ships. They were high priority, and were going to be defended, that was the Red Squad’s primary task. Imperial Knights protecting Imperator and Staff.

“Blue group, keep these fighters occupied!” Jared ordered as he rolled his fighter and squeezed off some shots, taking down a pair of TIEs. Really, this was all familiar to him. It just felt better having the whole of a government needing these engagements. He watched his squadron start to bring the numbers of TIEs down. It was nice to see that the Artemis fighters could hold up to the Sith fighters, and being the ones doing the ambushing helped keep his pilots alive.

As the boarding craft were traveling across, Jared got confirmation that the enemy shields were down and that Black group was starting to focus on the weapons batteries. With all space lanes secured, Jared felt confident.

“Green and Blue, keep mopping up these fighters, there aren’t many left. Just watch for anything coming from the planet.” The Flashpoints of Red group had ensured that the gunships arrived. “We’re gaining control of the space out here, Rebirth.” Jared commed just as two fighters set up on his tail.

Terrific.

For the Sith the sudden loss of an arm surely was a painful experience and it may seem cruel to amputate a Sith's arm just because of the lack of a Force Inhibitor, but it was necessary. The Sith didn't move for a couple of seconds, but then the Sith created a powerful wave with the Force which knocked back Lysander and the other soldiers. Then the elevator opened and twenty Sith Troopers stormed out, guns blazing, into the hangar. Along with them were a couple of Sith apprentices. Lysander got back on his feet quickly and let a volley of shots exit his gun right into the face of a Sith Trooper. Then the rest of his squad started firing as well and the Sith troopers were killed one by one. When the Troopers were dead Lord General Sullivan looked around to see how many of his men were wounded or even dead. He spotted the scout lying dead, one of the Spec-ops troopers and the Medic heavily wounded. This loss saddened Lysander. All those men had been great soldiers who had fought in many battles alongside their Lord General. It was hard seeing them die here, but there wasn't any time to continue mourning the dead. It was time to kill some Sith.

Astrian engaged the sith. Three blades of crimson came in his direction; the darth was recuperating his power. The two apprentices attacked, both moving in unison and their blades worked perfectly together, these were obviously more experienced sith. Astrians blade scorched and ricocheted off of the sith's blades, being knocked back and forth between the two blades. Astrian was out matched by their blade work; however. He had the force, on his side. Using superior force power, he twisted and crushed muscles in the saber arm of one of the apprentices, causing him to scream out in pain and the blade to drop. Astrian used this opportunity as the two apprentices had relied on teamwork. With this, the darth was entering the battle again. However, Astrian had enough time to repel the apprentice and through his blade off, over coming the sith with Djem So. The orange blade cut through the apprentice, and as Astrian moved towards the weaponless apprentice, the Darth pushed him back with a wave of force energy. Astrian was nearly sent off his feet, the Darth followed up with a barrage of lightsaber strikes. Astrian was being pushed back, but delving into the force was able to stop the barrage and engage in a saberlock. "General!" Astrian called, he needed some assistance.

Astrian's struggle with the Sith had mostly taken place during the General's fight with the Sith Troopers, who had been disposed of quickly thanks to the superior training and combat experience of Lysander's command squad. Now it was time to help Astrian kill those Sith. They were all fighting with the Imperial Cadet. Lysander noted the Cadet's skill with the Lightsaber, it was quite impressive, but it wouldn't be enough to kill the Sith. 'Kill those wretched Sith!' Was his order to the surviving portion of his squad, before he opened fire on one of the Sith. He continued the barrage of blaster fire at the Sith, killing the wounded apprentice and taking some of the Darth's focus off Astrian.

The Darth was only using one hand now, his off saber hand. This would be easy, along with the barrage of blasters bolts from the General, Astrian was able to switch to a more disorientating form of attack, dashing back and forth with heavy strikes. Astrians movements became a blur as his movements and body was embodied by the force. Slashing rapidly and fastly, the sith's body was smacked back and forth by wide and powerful saber strokes. However, even if the sith was outmatched with his saber. He was able to keep up a force shield; not allowing Astrians attacks to kill him. Not even the Generals troopers were able to keep up with what was going on. But, as the attacks slowed down. The darth tumbled and fell to the ground, his armour shredded. As Astrian stopped, he was holding his blade in a downwards stroke. He was breathing heavily and his brow was filled with sweat. Ragged breaths left his mouth; "I think we can keep the sith prisoner for now...we'll make an example out of....him....later." Astrian regained his composure and stood up straight. De-activating the saber in hand.

The constant blaster fire from eight highly trained commandos took up a lot of the Darth's concentration and after a couple of moments his defense failed and one of the shots got through, hitting his Leg. That combined with Astrian Callus' onslaught of Lightsaber attacks made the Darth tumble and fall. He was completely defenseless and Lysander would have killed him if it wasn't for the fact that capturing a Darth and openly executing him would demoralize the Sith here on Kad V. 'Agreed. Let's find something that can transmit a HoloMessage. That way we can execute the Darth publicly and demoralize the Sith troops.'

"Get back to it General." Astrian ordered. His head slightly turned in the direction of the General. "We need to secure this facility." Astrian commented. Turning back to the Darth. "I, will keep this one occupied." He remarked, putting away his saber. He made his way towards the darth who lay painfully against the cold metal ground of the hangar. Astrian stopped a few steps away, and grabbed the Darth; pulling him by his shoulder up. "Get moving." He said, he was going to be brutal with this 'warrior'.

'Affirmative, soldier.' The General said. They had to secure this station before they would be able to move on and Lysander had to be here and coordinate the attack. He raised his arm up to his mouth and activated the Commlink built into his wrist-guards. 'All Colonels, this is the Lord General. Report your location and progress.' He said and soon all the Colonels reported in, giving information about their location and progress. Most didn't face a lot of resistance, but Charlie and Foxtrot Battalion had faced heavy resistance in the lower levels of the facility. 'Alpha and Delta Battalion, move up to reinforce Foxtrot and Charlie. I will be joining you soon.' With that said, he ordered his squad to get to the elevator by using hand signs. The squad regrouped and moved to the elevator. The Medic gotten some Bacta applied to his wounds and was now stabilized. He would survive, but wouldn't be able to fight anymore.

The Sith Troopers who were guarding the entrance weren't that big of a problem. Yasuo used some Soresu techniques to deflect their blaster fire and then disarmed them by cutting their weapons or wounding them. He tried to cause as little harm to the soldiers as possible, but that wasn't so easy. After he was done the troopers were no opposition anymore and Yasuo moved on. He started sprinting into the direction in which he sensed the greatest darkness.

Astrian waited for the troops to leave; Astrian grabbed the sith by his shoulder and pulled him up to his feet. "Sith scum!" He growled, landing a hard punch on the siths face. He gritted his teeth, the sith groaned and stumbled over and back. Pulling up his left arm; flailing it at Astrian. "Don't make me cut off the other one.." He warned, putting his hand on his belt. Clenching the blade, the sith continued his pursuit, but; Astrian simply landed a force imbued punch. Sending his out of his grasp and onto the ground. "Sith.." He pouted, the sith was pathetic.

Inside the elevator, Lysander and his Elite Command Squad prepared themselves for a fight. They reloaded their weapons and checked their equipment. 'Alright everyone. Get ready to kill some more Sith Scum!' ''Sir, yes, sir!'' Was their answer. Lysander liked them a lot. They were like brothers for him. He had served with this squad for a long time and they had grown on him. Then the elevator door opened, revealing a battlefield.

Running through the empty corridors was quite a refreshing thing. He didn't have to fight anyone here, but then a door to his right opened and a Man and a Woman came out. They were both wearing standard officer uniforms, but they didn't have any weapons on them. ''Who are you?'' the woman asked ''I'm just a wanderer, don't pay any attention to me. But what you should do is get someplace safe. This place will be full of Fel Troopers and you two might get shot on sight, so better hide or surrender, otherwise you two won't survive.'' Those were his only words before moving on.

Astrian had been beating the sith lord senselessly. "You-you are no better than a sith! You are a sith! You just call yourself a jedi!" Astrian smiled, shaking his head. He pulled the sith by his neck up to Astrian. "No, I am an Imperial Knight; and we are better." He said, continuing his rant as he threw the sith's body across the room with augmented strength. "You and your sith CULT? You are inferior, you are beneath the Fel Empire." He barked, landing a heavy kick in the Darth's stomach. Blood, exploding from his mouth.

Imperial-II Star Destroyer, Chiss Legacy.
Kad V,
Zaruan stood at the head of the bridge, he was out of his command chair as he gave his commands. He was standing just in front of the viewport as a few of the lasers hit into his ship's shields. "What are our shield levels at?" He called out to the men on the bridge, they were not the best, for some it was their first time on the bridge. But they handled it professionally. Some would say Zaruan was 'racist' as he preferred humans or his own race, Chiss upon his ship.
After all, Chiss were capable of doing anything a human could do at the age of ten years old. For ten years old is an adult. "Our shields are at 96%, sir!" A voice responded to him after only only a few moments of silence.
"Go along the other side of the Sith's ship. Bring the Legacy's batteries to bare, and prepare for a broadside." He said turning around to sit down into his command chair. He wanted to tear the Sith's ships to pieces, but the Imperator was en route to the destroyer already, or he was there already. If he killed..the Imperator. No, it wouldn't happen. He would make sure the destroyer couldn't bring it's shields back online.

Animus climbed along the ceiling rafters, avoiding the passing patrol. Skeleton crew or not, he was not prepared for a straight-up fight against troopers. Leaning his legs downward, he wrapped them around the sentry that was left behind, and squeezed and pulled upwards, breathing out slowly. He gave his legs a sharp twist, and dropped the man. Animus was nearing his objective, the data center, server room adjacent to it. Two vital areas for facilities such as this. Lab notes and the rest would be secondary, but the actual result and documented findings would be kept in a separate facility and storage area.

"Nearing objective."

As Yasuo continued running towards the source of the dark presence, he noticed he didn't encounter many Sith troopers. Come to think of it, he hadn't encountered any at all. This was strange. Something was wrong. There had to be more than the couple of Sith officers he had encountered earlier. The ship should have been filled with soldiers, but there was nothing. Not a soul, nor was there any kind of sound. This was one of the strangest things Yasuo had ever experienced.

Looking around, Lysander saw all kinds of things. Dead Sith troopers, dead Sith apprentices, dead Fel soldiers, destroyed vehicles. There was everything. He didn't have any more time to observe, though, when a squad of Sith soldiers appeared behind a wreckage. He gestured so that his men would get to cover and then waited for the Sith troopers to come closer. One heck of a surprise was awaiting them.

And the Admiral and his guard made their way across the hangar. The accompanying gunships made overhead flights, letting loose with their repeating blaster cannons and lasers, striking the gradually retreating Sith forces on the hangar bay. Davin with his withdrawn silver saber started off into the fight, his platoon closely following the armored officer. "Disperse and eliminate all traces of them!" He barked over his shoulder, sending his following troop to break formation and engage the enemy. His personal element had even more training than the standard Royal Stormtrooper, a playmaker in real combat scenarios.
