Whispers in the Dark (Astrian)

The Templar Sanctum,Roon

The hour was relatively late when the Mandalorian made his entrance into the quiet room. 'Twas a study, with walls lined with tome-filled shelves and desks strewn about, specifically set aside for young Templars to read and study in peace. However, the hour dictated that the vast majority of the Order was asleep; save for guard droids roaming about and night owls such as Isley Verd. This evening, he had delved into his personal collection and copied a single Datacron from it's selection; intent on doing business with one of his fellow council members. To him, knowledge was the definition of power, and as such it had to be shared with his comrades...while at the same time, he also liked contributing to his personal stores. As such, a deal was struck to exchange one of his rarer finds for those in possession of Master [member="Astrian Callus"].

With the "product" stowed away in a small, wooden box, Isley walked into the study and took a seat at the nearest table. He then made himself comfortable; kicking his feet up and folding his arms about his chest. Surely it wouldn't take long for his comrade to arrive.

The hour was indeed late and Astrian Callus came striding into the study. The room was small and cozy, its shelves lined with books of all fancies. It wasn't quite as elaborate as the Temple Archive, but it was far more welcoming and practical. He found his deep yellow eyes under his hood fall on his fellow Council member and Master Templar, [member="Isley Verd"] seemed relaxed. His feet kicked up and his arms across his chest. This was were the two would differ, Astrian was a monster of a man. Death walking and he was always on his guard, he rarely if ever let his guard down. He made his way towards Isley, both "products" sealed away in a tightly packed wooden box. Slightly larger than the one Isley had brought, however the "product" Isley had brought was far more interesting than the two he currently held under arm. "Isley." He spoke, acknowledging the man.

Astrian sat down, the chair straining under his mass. A massive hand came out from under cloak to lay the lengthy wooden box out on the table between them. Astrian's expression was unreadable, however the slightest annoyance of the man's feet in his face could be seen. "I'm glad we were able to trade, we are Templars in arms after all." He spoke, his voice had the hint of optimism and kindness in it yet remained irrefutably disciplined and restrained. His eyes flickered, dancing across Isley's complexion as he awaited his own trade.

Thunderous footsteps upon marble floors heralded the arrival of the White Wolf: a man who had recently ascended to a position upon the Grand Council. Amongst his fellow members of the Templar Order, he was beginning to make quite the reputation for himself. While many feared him because of his stature and strength, just as many respected him for the boundless depths of valor he had displayed. After all, it's not often that a man defeats a Terentatek through sheer grit alone...and live to tell the tale! As such, when his fellow Master arrived, the Mandalorian promptly removed his feet from the table and sat properly; regarding the man with a respectful nod. "Astrian, good evening." he said whilst reaching for his box.

He flipped open the lid and then turned it about so that it's contents might face the man. Within, nestled upon a small pillow, was a cube that heavily resembled a holocron. It's hue was azure, trimmed with gold; and it seemed to pulsate with light. Of course, this was simply a Datacron...but the information housed within it's form made it valuable beyond words. Whilst many would horde such a thing, Isley decided to share; for the right price that is. "Indeed," he began in response to the White Wolf's comment, "it is excellent when comrades meet together to collaborate. Now then, as previously discussed, this is a full copy of the Datacron you had requested. It houses instruction in the arts of Farsight and Shatterpoint...from the Jedi Grandmaster Yoda himself. Take immense care in this, and please keep it out of any aspirant's hands; Force knows Feena would have my head if that happened." With that said, Isley slid forward the box, signaling the commencement of the exchange.

The Wolf allowed a grin to cross his face at [member="Isley Verd"]'s humour. "On that, we can agree." He commented, inspecting the holocron with delicate eyes. Astrian's ability to naturally sense things was phenominal, but his force sense ability only added to that quality and now the key to perfecting that ability was in his grasp. The Wolf did what he had promised in turn, opening the wooden box with ease and allowing Isley to see the two datacrons safely tucked inside between small cushions all around them. "These are the datacrons I procured from the Auction. Force Scattering and Projectile Guidance, both useful. Do enjoy them Isley." He commented, sitting back in his seat and he lifted the datacron from the box Isley had provided. His eyes however leaped about the room as his senses searched for intruders and only once he was sure no one else was there. He inspected the datacron, it was pleasant to look at to say the least.

The Wolf's mind was filled with ways to use the powers this datacron would bestow upon him. He would have to sit down, study and practice for a few days to get a grip of the ability before he began using it. Then his eyes returned to Isley, hoping he was satisfied with the Wolfs delivery.
