Where the Dark Lords Reign [The Primeval dominion of Korriban]

"Korriban shall be as it always was. A graveyard for the darkest of the Sith Lords, still whispering within their tombs. It shall always be a source of evil, spawning threats throughout the millennia."
~ Darth Traya

In all the galaxy there are few worlds more unwelcoming by name than Korriban... Here the first Dark Lords were born; Ajunta Pall, XoXaan, Remulus Dreypa, Karness Murr, and Sorzu Syn. In time new Sith Lords would rise as the old ones fell and so it became that when the old order falls a new one must rise in its place. Sith Empires have claimed this world, have been born from it, and almost as if the galaxy itself had a cruel sense of humor so too would they die here. For Korriban is now little more than grave, undignified and without purpose.

Now an opportunity has found itself in the form of The Primeval. Allies to the One Sith, these zealots return to the hallowed ground that bore many academies dedicated to the darkside of the force. Once again this may be for alliance meant powerful boons; in exchange for the various aid granted by and to both parties, the Host Lord has promised the Sith that once again Korriban can be their home... A place in the darkness where they thrive.

Descending upon the red gem was a large fleet of nearly a dozen warships escorting several transports. War was not likely here in all places but a bastion of Republic soldiers aim to keep the world from falling into their hands. More importantly, the Valley of the Dark Lords was under the firm grasp of creatures corrupted by the darkness that basked in the former glory of dead Sith. The restless spirits once again haunt the various tombs and prey on the weak-minded beasts that rest there.

Objectives:
  • A.) Clear out the tombs.
  • B.) Defeat the Republic forces.
  • C.) Secure the ruined Sith Academy.

Location: Korriban, Esstran sector
Objective C: Control.

One of those dastardly ‘zealots’ was one Voice of the Dark Lord, Darth Carach, whose sphere of influence encircled the planet of Korriban, home to the Sith and their ancestral homeworld. In the grand scheme of things, Carach was not truly interested in Korriban, oh in a distant past it had probably served an important goal, its location and underlying meaning binding the Sith together for a common cause.

But that was a long time ago. The Academy was in ruins, the ancient holy tombs wrecked and ransacked, all that was left was dust, sand and the endless desert. There was nothing of value here except the dust from which they came, and yet Carach was here, yet the Sith stood on the bridge of his ship and pondered as the red orb came more and more into view.

It was this spherical analogy, this orb, this… pebble that explained why he was here, it shined and so the Sith would have it. Simply, because his grinning psyche wouldn’t have it any other way.

Carach turned around, walking from the bridge towards the hangars. It was time to set foot on Korriban again, feel the sand underneath his feet and wonder, ponder the plans of the future.

Objective A) Clear out the tombs.
Location: Outside the tombs.

Much could be said of the primeval, but they did have their sights on such wonderous and mysterious destinations. From the crystal caves to this - Korriban. And everything in between. It would be a shame not to take part of this particular expedition, for many secrets were burried in the tombs of Korrigan, where ancient and less ancient siths lay dead. Dead in flesh anyways. It was obvious, standing outside the desolate mouth of the valley, that the presence and will of these once-living warlords, tyrants and masters had tainted the very ground they now stood on. She sighed lightly and looked to the men and women who were all headed for the same gate. "Be careful, here. The power of the force runs rampant in this valley." As she spoke, the first signs of a hostile presence showed. A lizard-like being known as a hssiss stalked the group by emerging from the easternmost part of the valley. Normally these beings would be quite hidden from sight, but this one just stampered around in the open. Its eyes were almost red with tiredness and hatred, and the nearest agents quickly raised their weapons - within a second, the blaster-energy licked the almost four meters long lizard like the fires of a warm pit would lick dry tinderwood. Its scales blackened by energy damage.

Not too concerned with the lizard conflict, Delyna moved up to the closest tomb, placing her hand on its rocky surface. The name of this particular sith had been lost to the ages, at least from outside perspective. A few other non-combative agents moved up to open the first gate. The deathbellow of the monster behind them didn't as much as startle the group as they worked mechanically. Not even a minute passed as the primeval agents had this ancient secret unearthed. Now the darkness of the tombs beneath the surface of Korriban stood open, welcoming the group into its depraved folds.

Objective: A.) Clear the Temples - Soul search as one did on Talos - Find the grave of Darth Durablis
Location: On the Surface of Korriban
Allies: ??? ([member="Delyna Karthoys Haymire"]?) ???, and Lovey! :D
Enemies: Usually everyone, nobody likes the slug

Before Zambrano, stood an ancient temple... containing the tombs of both Sith Lords from a time long past and those... more recently. There were bodies here that predated the Gulag Plague, but there was possibly at least one body that had lived here during the isolation of the Four Hundred Year Darkness. The darkside permeated the air... and although the pressure of the fluctuating force still mildly caused him pain... this ancient homeworld that was his own for countless decades seemed to calm him. It soothed him. Nurtured him. A Vapaad that had travelled with him from Serapin accompanied him this time, nuzzling its dark master with its multiple tentacles as it moved in an excited blur. The Hutt paid it no attention, having only now gotten accustomed to the tiny creature that the force granted to him as a pleasant gift when he had called upon it in desperation.

He sat upon his usual Throne of Horrors, dying or dead victims stacked up as corpses all lying up against him. There was a group of other Primeval forces that sought to enter the tombs, and he rested upon their periphery. He merely watched in a strange, deadened calm as the Hssiss did their job to attack the group. This place seemed to have an opposite effect on Zambrano than did Talos... where he was distraught with unknown pains and instability, not knowing where he was... this place, it soothed his pains with familiarity, and he knew innately every inch of the ruins. The usual buildings of course were essentially destroyed and render inaccessible... but he had lived a long life time here... in addition to countless other short lives for decades. He felt at home here, - as he should - he began to remember more intimate times as innumerable people, but mostly of his pinnacle of power: Darth Durablis. It was strange though, that this temple looked so familiar to him.

A Hssiss lumbered next to him as it stalked the group for a target before charging, and the Hutt glanced down to see it staring back him momentarily. It was strange indeed, as most beings confront with such a beast would panic, attempt to attack it at the surprise... yet some how ... some how he and the Hssiss had some kind of understanding that one could not innately understand right away.

He proceeded with the group, from the far rear.

Objective: A...Clear Out the Tombs
The Sith Knight knew a lot about Korriban from what information she gathered from the Sith Archives. The planet with it's red sands and highly dangerous predators, the tu'kata and the hssiss, once held the seat of power for the ancient Sith Empire. The Valley of the Sith Lords in fact had been a place where many a young Acolyte had gone in search for prestige or in hopes of learning more about the nature of the Darkside. Some had even lowered themselves to even plunder the tombs, atrocities in her opinion. So when word was sent out that their allies were need of assistance in claiming Korriban, she quickly volunteered her services.

Her objective was to investigate and clear out those sacred tombs. For to long the Republic desecrated those tombs with their foul injustices and for to long those tombs were forced to bear witness as their mysteries were repeatedly and repeatedly attempted to be unlocked by the Republic and the Jedi. Now that Darth Venefica had arrived, unstable and all, she would be the hero of those long dead Sith Lords. She would kill the enemy in their name. She would purge and cleanse the tombs in their name.

Objective: B - Defeat the Republic forces.
Location: Valley of the Dark Lords

The Host Lord's droships landed, entire battalions marched forth towards the enemy line. Most of them weren't battle hardened as many soldiers in the Republic Army were those who replaced the dead in battles before, veterans remained either supplemented elite units or became officers or the like. It wouldn't necessarily be an easy fight but there was no chance for them to defeat The Primeval here, not now; without resources or reinforcements. It was a matter of how much damage they could do and perhaps the opportunity to take out members of the leadership, to give the Republic a fighting chance in battles to come.

The first to charge ahead were the Gulandi who favoured melee over ranged combat, the battle-worn Sephi from Gulamendis quickly raided the lines and began a skirmish. Many fell before their blades made contact with the flesh of an enemy soldier but the sounds of fighting could be heard throughout the valley... It sent a chill down Anja's spine. She could feel the ghosts of those long since dead revel in the bloodshed.

OBJECTIVE: B; Eliminate Republic Forces
SUB-OBJECTIVE: Look Cool?
ALLIES: Primeval; [member="Anja Aj'Rou"]
ENEMIES: Republic; NPC Soldiers

With a mighty war-cry the Reptilian Armed Forces (dubbed the RAF) charged onto the battelfield. Most of their forces had gathered here to today in order to combat the Republic. A hundred Barabels, seventy-five Trandoshans, and twenty five Vidvhansaka. They were arranged in squads of five, almost every one being lead by a Vhan. Those that weren't had a more experienced Bel at their head. One group was lucky enough to have a De'Nochsax with them. But this wasn't your average lizard. It was Azrael Asura himself, a demon who came right from hell (semi-literally due to recent events). He was ten feet tall, had six arms, and had (some) control over the force. The man and his small army were going to rip right into the defenses like they were nothing.
Or at least that was the plan.

Objective: B - Defeat Republic Forces

Kitsune failed to comprehend the reasoning behind the Republic forces being on Korriban. Was Korriban not a Sith or Dark-sided place? Well, I guess occupation, Kitsune thought to herself, In order prevent Sith in the future, but would they not be corrupted by the dark energies present here?

Kitsune disembarked from her shuttle while an immense landing craft landed behind her. I guess its time to give the Republic a taste of history...

At that moment, the doors of the landing craft opened, and a series of Confederate technologies began pouring onto the rear reserves of Primeval's forces, bolstering their numbers significantly.

Objective: A) Clear the temples
Location: The first tomb, currently belonging to an unknown sith.
Allies: [member="Zambrano the Hutt"]
Enemies: The spirits of the long gone sith, and their monster slaves.

And that was not an invitation the Primeval would reject. Not tolerating loss, they had to make the most of their time. Combat happened everywhere. Not so far off, the republic soldiers faced the Primeval invaders, and in this parth of the valley the group was threatened by the roaming monsters that lurked there. A single bite from a Hssiss could cause dark force sickness, and worse yet, it was as if the evil minds of the now dead sith wished to repel the intruders in their hallowed tombs.

As they escaped the burning grip of the sun above, the only light still accompanying them was their own torches. Their small group was a unit with a wide variety of people, each agent walked with a different pace. Some rushed ahead while others, like [member="Zambrano the Hutt"], stayed in the far back. Delyna herself was satisfied with being one of the front forces. Black chains hanged low from the ceiling and the decorated pillars within the tomb gave it a very imposing yet beautiful atmosphere. Sculptures of human and near-human skulls decorated the walls in collections of four rows and eight columns. Each group of skulls had a single actual skull, though. Each was placed in a seemingly random spot.

Another gate opposed them, this time a mystical locking mechanism ensured the enclosure of the tomb. Eight wheels bearing the numbers zero-through-nine were all currently resting at zero. In the mean time, evident of more hssiss revealed itself through the damaged and natural tunnels in the ceiling, where a lizard-head popped out and hissed threatningly.

'Twas truly a pity that most people never experienced the bliss of imitating a rock. The feeling was almost zen-like, sitting there, basking in the sun and generally doing little of importance. Force knows that the hunter would've preferred to stay that way for the next couple of days, soaking xir bones in the scorching warmth while the Galaxy literally went to Hell.

Alas, it was not to be.

The red boulder suddenly opened a rather annoyed eye as the sounds of battle disturbed xir tanning session, and with a grumble completely drowned by the ruckus below, the stone started to move. The rough surface of the rock boiled and faltered for a moment, the change nearly imperceptible from afar, and then the shifter was ready.

Only the suppressor and the muzzle stuck out of the red stone, and Laguz morphed some more to minimize xir chances of being discovered. A keen eye swept across the valley below, gauging distance, wind, and the rest of those pesky details so integral to taking a good shot.

"Laguz Vald at your service, Host Lord," the gravelly voice of the hunter carried through the comlink.

"Who do you need dead today?"

Objective: Clear Out the Tombs
The first tomb she would clear out was that of the great Sith alchemist Ajunta Pall. His tomb, like the others, had been plundered many times over but the Darkside still reigned supreme here. She could feel the pleasurable sensation of the Darkside energy coursing through her, making her stronger inside its web. Whatever the intentions had been by the Jedi and the Republic in terms of this tomb had failed. The Darkside would not willingly surrender itself over to them. So it had fought to maintain its existence inside the tomb, and proved victorious.

For the most part the tomb had been utterly empty minus the rotting corpses of tu'kata that now infested the darkened tunnels. Also, any signs of the opposition was absent except for a single set of footprints in the sand that lead deeper into the tomb. Carefully she followed the tracks to their source and was stunned to see a Jedi in the main chamber kneeling at the foot of the dead Sith Lord's sarcophagus. The Jedi, it seemed, now had a small essence of the Darkside coursing through her. "You can feel it, yes? The power of the Darkside is calling to you Jedi...embrace it...do not deny its caress," Darth Venefica said moving toward the female Jedi.

The Jedi lept to her feet and started to go for her hilt. "Come now Jedi...you don't want to fight us. We only wish to help you...see the grander scheme of things. You are confused. You have questions. We can ease both those burdens for you." Slowly the Jedi moved her hand away from her weapon. "I know the Darkside is wrong. I know I shouldn't allow it to corrupt me but it's so beautiful," the Jedi replied lowering her head. "Beautiful indeed. The Darkside is not corrupting you....it is only merely awakening you to the truth. Do you not wish to know the truth about yourself, Jedi?"

The young Jedi stood silent for a moment then nodded her head and said, "Yes. I want to know the truth." The Sith Knight smiled at the girl and gestured her to sit on the cavern floor. "Then let us begin."

Zambrano continued to follow the group impassively, harassed by no Hssiss, isolated in his relative safety. In eerie calm, his slimy hands took hold of his Lovey, and patted the tentacled creature as it vibrated happily. The cold winds of Korriban swept into the tomb, creating strange unnerving sounds as it washed over his form. The other people were on high alert, looking in every direction, covering every angle of attack. Yet no one noticed the impassive Hutt approaching from the back. He was an ally of course... surely... but that did not stop him from remaining as unsightly. If they ignored him, it was probably due to the corpses piled up next to him, his Vaapad, and his infamous reputation. If any noticed him, it was likely because they had expected brutality, and where left in waiting of when it would appear.

All in good time.

His golden eyes took in his surroundings, noting the eight digit combo, and the four rows of eight skull structures. Somehow, he innately understood exactly how this puzzle worked. Thirty-two victims had challenged this Dark Lord to Kaggath, though only eight had been superiors. The skulls of these worthy foes were among the sculptures, and their placement upon the four by eight grid corresponded to a number upon the gate. Statistically, it would take a very long time to sift through these skulls, and determine their importance... luckily however, Zambrano possessed in him an innate ability to peer into an objects past, even long dead ancient skulls. Thus, the amount of time sifting through skulls would be cut in half, at least. Now they could know the meaning of the skulls. It might take an extra step to understand that these skulls represented numbers, that Zambrano would not think to tell them.

Before he could do anything however, a Hssiss attacked the front of the group. Recognizing that his friends were busy, Zambrano hovered to the first sculpture... badly damaged, opened up to reveal secrets inside that had long been looted. Regardless, fragments of the skull remained, and that was enough for a glance at its memories. His hand reached out, and gently stroked the artifact, closing his eyes as it told him all that he needed to know...

He was correct. The skull had been pillaged, and the Jedi who tried to solve the puzzle could not understand the importance of the skull sculptures... they had no means of knowing which skulls were significant, and what number they corresponded to. So the ignorant fools, found another way in, with drills. The Hutt decided to ignore this pit. He really wanted to solve the puzzle... it was odd... he felt obligated to open up this tomb in the right way. Obviously no one should raid a tomb, but if a tomb had been raided, it should have had the honor of being opened up properly. At any rate, Zambrano's consciousness moved ever backward, skipping over huge segments of the skulls life until...

The number was one. Easy enough. Opening his eyes, knowing the identity of this particular skull had been significant in the life of the one entombed here, given that this skull had belonged to the unknown Lord's Master, Zambrano would take note of the life he had just experienced... though it was odd he could not make out the identity of the one who was lying in this gave.. Fitting however, that whoever he was should make his first superior kill be his Master. It was poetic, and a nice homage. Obviously, the spirit of this skull might not have been happy that he didn't get his own tomb, but his Apprentice had claimed rights over his body, as spoils of his hard fought well earned victory. This disturbance, may have caused another Hssiss to appear however.

Zambrano took the skull fragments, and placed them into a pouch resting upon a corpse nearest to him. He turned, and lashed at the snarling lizard with his whip, grunting in the effort to do so. Once the Hssiss were dealt with, and they all regrouped, Zambrano would proceed with analyzing the skulls at a progressive pace... it would be up to them to make the full connection of the skulls, though it would not be hard seeing the visible absence of skulls the farther along with the investigation he went...

Alternatively they could completely ignore him, and somehow find the artificial bypass through the gate under some light rubble to his dismay and disappointment.

In time where the galaxy had many wonders that had yet to reveal themselves, and where a certain species had never been heard of beyond the Stygian Caldera, did a group of exiles discover a world full of those types of wonders, a people that had the potential to win them the galaxy and the beginning of a legacy that would continue throughout the ages. For countless centuries, the Sith Order led crusades against the Jedi Order and the galaxy they sought to protect. What did they have to show for their victories? Nothing, in his mind.

Vilox Pazela stood on a dune, overlooking the vast desert of Korriban. The cowl of his robe concealed his face. A soft, chilling breeze blew through his garments. It revealed a Lightsaber that hung on his hip. The gusts died after the briefest of moments and everything became still again. Everything had come full circle. He had met the Shadow Emperor on Korriban once. On that day, he had subjugated the famous Darth Arcis, or as the Dark Master knew him then as Dranok Lussk. He had kicked started Kara Vi'dreya's journey across the stars that day as well. They knew him as Darth Vazela, Lord of the Sith.

Those that had survived the wars of 835-836 ABY now believed him a traitor. Remnants of the Empire he had once ruled were now in the Core. He did not know what happened to Voracitos, Arcis or Vi'dreya, nor did he care. Something had changed in the mind of Vazela when Mikhail Shorn dethroned Tyrin Ardik and became the Thronebreaker. Only whispers and rumors followed the man underneath the garb. The Sith had not lain eyes on him since he had failed to subjugate the One Sith; and they would not see him for a long time to come.

For the first time since Ajunta Pall and his following had discovered the Sith, a Dark Jedi with similiar asipirations had returned to Korriban. It would be a long time until Vilox Pazela could call himself a Sith Lord again. The Dark Master moved down the dune and began his journey across the sands. As all those who aspired to become the Dark Lord of the Sith, the Dark Master would do the same.

Vilox Pazela had begun his pilgrimage.

Objective: B
Location: Valley of the Dark Lords
Allies: [member="Kitsune"]
Enemies: The Republic

The Host Lord's skirmishers had charged the enemy line and begun their attack. Despite their loose numbers, the skirmishing Gulandi were causing havoc along the flanks and allowing the more tightly-formed formations to enter the fray. Enemy artillery was light. The Garrison on Korriban that once held this world after the Sith Empire fell was primarily made up of security forces, not true soldiers. Thus the battle was favouring The Primeval as usual. The greater danger was not the enemy forces but the ones hidden amongst the dark secrets of Korriban's Valley of the Dark Lords. There is a reason the Sith refer to this location with much sanctity, it's the birthplace of their Empires and the resting place of their Dark Lords.

Anja herself watched the battle from atop a ridge, it gave her a clever vantage point to command her ground forces from. Various officers stood at her side for tactical aid, giving advice when she requested it or relaying commands to the sub-officers leading the troops.

In the decades that had followed the Four-Hundred Year Darkness, history had begun to repeat itself. For it had taken the Dark Jedi many years to discover Korriban following their war. The Hundred-Year Darkness that had plunged the galaxy in it's earliest of galactic wars had ended in defeat for Ajunta Pall and his men. They had been exiled from known space and out into the void. In that time, the following of Dark Jedi that had joined him in exile grew smaller, until finally they discovered Korriban.

In that time, the Jedi Order had started a dark ancestory. For their former comrades had begun a legacy that would pull the galaxy into galactic wars that would destroy so much. Now that legacy had come full circle, for the new order that Sorzus Syn had spoken of in his journals had become a weak as the old order that she wanted to destroy. Out of the ashes of the Sith Empire, destroyed by the Jedi Order in 836 ABY, a Sith Lord destroyed his beliefs and sought to create something new.

Thus, a Dark Jedi had returned to Korriban with asipirations to enslave the Sith, as they had once done. Vilox Pazela, a Dark Lord of the Sith unseen in millenia, had returned to the ancestoral home of the same men and women responsible for a Second Great Schism. In that moment, the Dark Master came to a stop on another dune, overlooking the Valley of Dark Lords.

Objective B: Snipe dem forces

Mikkel had landed and with [member="Anja Aj'Rou"]'s forces and loaded up his slugthrower rifle, finally having a reason to use it again. Hastily making his way to the top of a structure as he screwed on his suppressor and turned on his helmet, Mikkel happened to stumble across a rather strange looking rock. He thought nothing of it, until he heard the message from [member="Laguz Vald"] both over comms and right next to him. Looking closely at the rock, Mikkel saw a suppressor for a rifle extending from one of its sides.

Getting down, as he realized the enemy may spot him, Mikkel crawled over to the rock and knocked on its side. "Mind if I join ya?" Mikkel asked, chambering a .338 into the barrel of his slugthrower.

"You don't want to talk? Fine," the sniper chuckled into xir comlink as xe took aim of another Pub, letting out a soft exhale — a breathing rock, I know, weird — then popped its head like an overripe fruit. Blood and brains splattered across the enemy combatants, but Laguz continued uninterrupted, picking them off one after the other. Even if they did figure out that the Primeval had a sniper on their side... what would they do? They were beset by the ground forces from all sides, not to mention severely outnumbered. It was a question of when, not if.

"If you must," the red stone responded to the bald man, sparing a single thought to how the agent had found xem in the first place. And here the shifter had thought that assuming the shape of a boulder among boulders would render xem practically invisible. Oh, well. Perhaps the texture needed more work? "Just don't draw too much attention."

"So, Host Lord," the rock started again, undeterred by the radio silence. "Ever think of relaxing a bit after all the slaughter? Maybe draw a hot bath, light some scented candles... get a massage?" Another breath, another life taken. It was almost too easy, but the Primeval had the enemies shepherded into a tight group, and xe didn't even have to try to hit a few.

Objective: B
Location: Valley of the Dark Lords

The rage of battle was all that existed to the Gulandi who slaughtered Republic forces when the new lines of reinforcements began to aid the skirmishers. Of course, due to the nature of a valley being narrow and The Republic's natural defenses it would be nigh impossible to launch a full scale attack without bottlenecking themselves. Another conundrum was that they risked damage to the precious ruins if they attempted to strike by air or use heavy artillery. Laser cannon fire and light weapons were their only choice for the time being.

Anja herself ignored the chatter coming from [member="Laguz Vald"] , who really risked their own execution for getting so comfortable with the holiest person in the heart of The Primeval.

The support of the RAF was somewhat of a confusion for the Gulandi, but side by side the two forces swarmed like locusts over the crop of Republic soldiers.

Kael stumbled out of the transport ship, a blaster that felt to heavy in hand. It was a standard issue DC-17 blaster pistol, albeit a bit of an older model. It would get the job done however. At least, it would've been able to if Lurcano had the single damnedest idea on how to fire it. The transport ship had landed him right below a ridge which overlooked the battle. He saw the battle had already begun and both sides were fighting in full force. The Republican forces were fiercely outnumbered, and had no chance of survival, but despite this obvious fact they fought as if victory was assured. Despite being enemies to the Primeval, and to that extent the Old Gods who Kael would gladly lay his life down for, Kael could not help but respect them and their fighting fervor. He tore his attention away from the battle and looked up at the ridge to see what looked like the Primeval high command. He was unsure at first, but all his doubts were extinguished as soon as he saw her. Her. Anja Aj'Rou. The esteemed leader of the Primeval, and the holiest being in the empire. Normally Kael would have been delighted to even be associated with her, but this was not a normal situation. She had torn him from his regular everyday life and had robbed him of the chance of glory in the military. 'I should be fighting side by side with those men on the battlefield now, laying down their lives to further the quest of the Old Gods. But no. I'm stuck here, useless and playing to the beck and call of a woman.' Kael shook his head before beginning the trek up. Normally he would have been intimidated by the woman and the battle hardened veterans that surrounded her, and he was. Yet he wouldn't let himself back down. He climbed the ridge, already sweating under the heat. 'Perhaps it wasn't the brightest idea to wear thick woolen robes on desert planet. No matter, it's to late to dwell on such things now.' As he approached Anja, staff in hand which he used as a walking stick of sorts, the skulls that he adorned his ultraviolet colored robes clanked together. He parted his way through the officers that made up her command. Normally they would not have let someone such as him get so close to their leader, but they had been briefed of his special circumstances. They did nie remark on his odd appearance as well. The Primeval was made up of many cultures, his was a backwards one to be sure but no more backwards then some others. He bowed his head respectfully before he spoke. No matter his personal feelings towards her, she was still the leader of the Primeval.

Kael Kessler: "Esteemed leader. I was sent down to help with the efforts on Korriban? I await your orders." His curt question left much of what he was thinking unanswered. 'What do you have in store for me? Why are we here? Where are we?' Yet he kept his mouth shut. Questions for another time those were.

Zambrano moved along, unperturbed by the Hssiss that spawned upon his tampering with the tomb. Each time that the slimy residue landed upon the skulls, a psychedelic vision would pass over the eyes of the gastropod, witnessing the final moments each time of the one who once owned this skull. They all had been rivals of whoever was buried here, but only a select few were his superiors. So far in total, he had found five of these superiors among the thirty two skulls... it was a shame that it appeared some were missing, or so far gone it was almost impossible to see what it had seen so long ago. If the Hutt could determine meaning from such things, he would find that the combination had been 1, 4, 3, 4, 2. Someone looking at the slug's actions might be able to determine the code, but noticing the skulls he would take within the eight rows of four. In the first row, the first skull was taken, in the second row, the fourth skull, and so on. The importance of why these skulls were placed this way? One could only guess. Perhaps the owner of this tomb was so boastful as to label his conquered "superiors" with difficulty levels? Perhaps. One got the vibe the owner of the tomb might be that full of themselves.

There was not much else to say, but the Hutt continued this process. Perhaps the group would see that it seemed the Hutt knew to some extent what he was doing? There was already many bone fragments of the skulls piling up next to him upon the satchel resting within the paralysed grasp of a corpse on his Throne of Horrors. The Vaapad ran about them all, attacking Hssiss as they appeared, but careful not to be bitten, least it gain a dark side sickness. It was surprising that even after touching the remains of five different artifacts of the Sith Lords past, his identity was still blind to the Hutt... he had witnessed their deaths yet no clear face or name could be distinguished for the slug. Curious.

The Hutt would go on to remove the first skull in the first row, the fourth skull in the second row, the third skull in the third row, the fourth skull in the fourth row, the second skull from the fifth row, the first skull of the sixth row, the second skull of the seventh row, and the fourth skull in the eighth row. Each time new Hssiss spawned when the these skulls were removed and placed in his piles of bones.
