PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Light Armor
  • Weight: Light
  • Resistances:
    • Blaster: Very High
    • Kinetic: Very High
    • Lightsaber: Very High
    • Sonic: Very Low
    • EMP/ION: Very Low
    • Elemental: Average
    • Electric: Very High when Faraday Cage enabled, None when it's not.
    • Force: Very Low
    • Acid: Average
    • Pressure: None
    • Radiation: High
SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • The Spidershell Silk and the TYI Flex Armor ensure a high resistance against lightsabers, blasters, and slugs.
  • The Baffleweave weaved into the armour's material has a high probability of jamming sensors.
  • The Arginium ensures those who wear this armour will function well when facing areas with radiation.
  • Armour supports mobility and quick movement.
  • The boots include FrictionGrip coating, which will help avoid slippage.
  • Armour includes two different shields that can be enabled with the press of a button; the first being a molecular shield, and the second a shield that can deflect sonic and EMP/ION attacks, but only while it is enabled.
  • Integrated non-sentient AI assistant (Bloop) for real-time stat readouts, with toggle options for Snark Mode or Polite Mode, or to be turned off entirely.
WEAKNESSES
  • EMP/ION Vulnerability: If the Faraday Cage is not already active, a concentrated EMP/ION strike can disable the suit permanently, destroying its comms and preventing the Faraday system from ever activating.
  • Force Exposure: The armor provides no meaningful defense against the Force, leaving the wearer vulnerable to telekinetic, mental, or mystical attacks.
  • One-Size Limitations: Designed as a standardized fit, the armor sacrifices comfort and customization for accessibility, which may cause inefficiencies in extreme or prolonged use.
  • Specialization Gaps: While optimized for mobility and energy resistance, the suit offers little protection against sonic damage, pressure shifts, or other niche environmental hazards.
DESCRIPTION
It was armour for survivors who no longer waited for something better.

There is never a reason to start from nothing. In the vaults of Scherezade deWinter's memory and war lay the Haywire suits once worn by those she called friends and teammates, simple shells of survival that had carried nameless insurgents into battles they had little chance of winning, yet somehow, impossibly, they did, time after time. Scherezade saw more than nostalgia in their design. She saw potential.

From that foundation rose the Aftershock Armor Genesis, a resurrection, a reinvention, and a promise. Its silhouette still bore the ghost of its predecessor, but the stark black was reborn in layered composites, its surface humming with Whimsy's eccentric engineering and subtle artistry.

Every seam, every plate, every thread carried Whimsy's ethos. Modular nodes let the wearer snap on enhancements ranging from environmental seals to sensory dampeners. Its interior lining adapted to its host, regulating heat, dispersing strain, and whispering resilience into bone and muscle alike. Where once the Haywire Armor had been mere protection, Genesis became a statement of defiance made visible, rebellion woven into form.

And then the Genesis armour was gift - to DeathDrop, the new friends and teammates.

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: Whimsy Shield refresh
  • Image Source: Generated with ChatGPT
  • Permissions: n/a
  • Primary Source: Whimsy Shield
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: Whimsy
  • Affiliation:
    • Company: Whimsy
  • Market Status: Closed-Market
  • Model: GGS-002
  • Modularity:
    • Finish/color selectable.
    • Mountable on vambrace, palm plate, or weapon chassis (cannot be used free-standing)
  • Production: Minor
  • Material: Circuity
CLASSIFICATION INFORMATION
  • Classification: Personal Energy Shield Projector
  • Weight: Very Light
  • Resistances
    • Blasters: Very High
    • Kinetic: Very High
    • Lightsabers: Very High (rapid drain on sustained contact)
    • Sonic: None
    • EMP/ION: None (device hard-kills until manual reset)
    • Other: Not intended to block gas, toxins, environmental hazards, or area denial.
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Short-Burst Absorption Profile: Optimized to soak intense, brief hits (e.g., 2-3 rifle bolts, 1-2 solid saber clashes, or a couple of slug impacts) over a handful of seconds.
  • Duty Cycle & Runtime: When idling (not actively absorbing), continuous-on runtime ~15 minutes per charge. Under fire, cumulative "hard" protection per charge ~6-8 seconds before recharge is required.
  • Energy Bleed-Off: Automatically bleeds stored energy as harmless heat over ~30-45 seconds while inactive (faint shimmer).
  • Controls: Recessed tactile button or weapon-mount rocker; double-tap = 0.75 s parry burst; hold = up to 2 s wall (heavy drain).
  • Indicators: Tri-LED ring shows capacity/overheat; audible chirp on overload.
  • Power & Recharge: Diatium microcell + ultracap buffer; hot-swappable cell or recharge via armor power bus.
  • Aesthetics: Default pink field; hue can be changed via Whimsy calibrator.
STRENGTHS
  • Burst Tanking: Excellent at eating short, high-intensity bursts from blasters or melee energy contact.
  • Compact Coverage: Small, directional field enables aggressive parries and peeks without full-bubble drawbacks.
  • Mount-Friendly: Integrates cleanly into vambraces, palm plates, or compatible weapons.
WEAKNESSES
  • Hard Counters: Sonic and EMP/ION will reliably disable or bypass the projector.
  • Sustained Pressure: Continuous beams, automatic fire, or prolonged saber grinding will quickly force an overload.
  • Not Environmental: Offers no protection against weather, gas, radiation, or terrain hazards.
  • Limited Battery: Fast drain under fire; enforced cooldown/lockout after overload.
  • No Stacking: Interferes with most other personal shield projectors and active camouflage systems.
DESCRIPTION
The Whimsy GGS-002 is a second-generation personal shield projector built for short, decisive "windows" of safety rather than hands-free invulnerability. Mounted on a user's vambrace, palm plate, or compatible weapon, the GGS-002 throws an energy field , making it perfect for parries, peeking from cover, and catching a burst that would otherwise end a skirmish. While idling it can remain active for roughly fifteen minutes, but it shines when used in brief, intentional activations: a couple of rifle bolts, a hard saber clash, or a single slug you didn't see coming. The projector then bleeds the captured energy as heat over half a minute, telegraphing a soft shimmer and encouraging smart pacing.

Balance-wise, Whimsy leaned into counterplay. Sonic and EMP/ION remain reliable ways to shut it down, and the unit deliberately struggles against environmental threats. Continuous pressure will overload the ultracapacitor buffer; when that happens the GGS-002 fails open, chirps, and locks out until the heat clears or the cell is swapped. It's not a stand-alone defense and was never meant to be. Pair it with armor, a rebreather, and common sense. Default field color is pink (of course), though buyers can recalibrate the hue to suit their aesthetic or to stop friendly fire from being tempted by the glow.

  • Primary Source: The Armatura
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Multipurpose Light Armor
  • Weight: Light
  • Resistances
    • Blasters: Extreme
    • Kinetic: Extreme
    • Lightsabers: Extreme
    • Sonic: None
    • EMP/ION: None
    • Elemental: Average
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Belt
    • Field Security Overloader
    • Quick-Draw Holsters: Weapons snap into her hands as though magnetically drawn, adding to her chaotic fighting style.
    • Glitter Bomb Storage: Grenades stored here sometimes have external shells that shimmer faintly, as though daring opponents to underestimate them.
  • Head (Extendable Biomesh)
    • Shifting Pattern: The hexagons constantly ripple between shades of turquoise and emerald, like scales catching light. Under stress (combat, adrenaline), the colors intensify into more chaotic flashes.
    • HUD Overlay: Instead of a sterile visor, the HUD is filled with semi-playful elements: targeting reticles shaped like glittering constellations, small animated runes, or even faint fractal designs that dance across the edges of vision.
    • Psychological Edge: When fully deployed, the head-covering gives a slightly unsettling effect — as though her face is made of living, shifting glass.
  • Right Arm
    • Glitter Trail: The wrist laser, when fired, leaves behind faint motes of glittering energy that hang in the air for a second before fading. It's harmless fluff, but unnerving/distracting to enemies.
    • Chaotic Dart System: The dart shooter auto-rotates a carousel of darts. Scherezade can choose to load more than just stun darts (paint, glitter, or chemical payloads for mischief).
    • Whimsy Shield II
  • Left Arm
    • Communication device.
  • Back (Weapon Holders)
    • Various holders for weapons.
    • Collapsible Rig: Weapons don't just hang, they unfold from sleek compartments in the armor's backplate, like unfolding wings or skeletal arms.
    • Chaotic Draw: When Scherezade pulls a weapon, the compartments sometimes release a faint puff of glitter-dust or hexagonal light shards. Pure style, no mechanics.
    • Adaptive Fit: The rig automatically shifts to balance weight and movement, letting her carry oddly-shaped weapons without throwing off her acrobatics.
STRENGTHS
  • The Armatura is made of an extensive collection of various protective fabrics, giving it very high resistances to blasters, kinetic damage, and lightsabers.
    • Shell Spider Silk + Silkweed → stealth + flexibility angle.
    • Agrinium + Baffleweave → protection against radiation and scanners.
    • TYI Flexarmor + Elastecs → kinetic absorption.
WEAKNESSES
  • EMP attacks will disable the armor's shield generator abilities.
  • Skin Tight - This armor doesn't leave much room for the imagination, as it is skin tight, and thus does not permit the wearer to add any additional protective clothing between the body and the armor.
  • The armor is very distinctive, so it's not good when you want to blend in crowds.
  • Overreliance on fabric means it doesn't do well against crushing forces (collapsing buildings, hydraulic presses, starship impacts).
DESCRIPTION
To Scherezade deWinter, the Armatura had once marked a turning point, a first claim of identity after years of torment and disorientation. But time had passed, the galaxy had shifted, and so had she. What had once been the symbol of survival was now outdated, a relic of a version of herself she had long since surpassed.

This new Armatura was not crafted deliberately, as a reflection of who she had become after years away beyond the rim, and of the chaotic artistry she now carried into every battle.

Though she still despised the suffocating idea of helmets, pragmatism had won again. The Armatura's extendable biomesh could unfold to cover her head entirely, seamless and alive with faintly moving patterns. A prismatic shield generator was built into her right arm, blooming in iridescent scales when summoned.

This was not armor that hid its wearer. Skin-tight, distinct, almost impossible to mistake, it was an extension of her presence: hard to track by sensors, impossible to ignore in a fight. Every line, every shimmer, every cruelly beautiful detail was chosen to embody the woman wearing it.

  • Affiliation:
  • Market Status: Open-Market
  • Model: GA003
  • Modularity:
    • The color of the glitter itself is available in the following colors:
      • Pink - default color
      • Blue
      • Silver
      • Green
      • White
      • Yellow
      • Red
      • Purple
      • Specialty/limited-run colors may be produced (e.g., holographic, oil-slick, obsidian, rainbow).
  • Production: Mass-Produced
  • Material:
    • Acid resistant adhesive
    • Non-eco friendly glitter Non-eco-friendly glitter (becomes harmless glitter post-oxidation)
    • Borless acid
    • Acid-proof packaging (durasteel, crystal, or decorative canisters)
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • It's glitter. It's pretty. It's dangerous. Handle with care.
  • Engineered with nano-bonding adhesive: glitter clings stubbornly to surfaces for up to several minutes before natural degradation begins.
  • Oxidized glitter (after 48 hours) is completely harmless but remains sparkly, effectively turning into normal glitter.
  • Packaged in acid-proof containers, including practical durasteel cases or whimsical disguises (perfume bottles, compact mirrors, candy jars).
STRENGTHS
  • You can never fully get rid of glitter: Everyone knows this. It's an indisputable fact. Glitter will live longer than cockroaches.
  • Unstoppable Sparkle: Glitter is nearly impossible to remove completely, ensuring lingering damage and psychological disruption.
  • Psychological Warfare: Victims panic at both the sparkle and the burn; even harmless oxidized glitter can spread paranoia.
  • Versatile Use: Compatible with a variety of dispersal systems (glitter bombs, sprayers, grenades) while also usable in raw form.
  • Armor Disruption: Especially efficient against Beskar, which is more vulnerable than most materials.
  • Lingering Damage: Immediate effects on skin, flesh, and fabric, with corrosive potential against many materials over time.
WEAKNESSES
  • Friendly Fire Chaos: A gust of wind can scatter glitter indiscriminately, putting friend and foe alike in danger.
  • Armor Resistance: Durasteel and armorplast are completely immune (though they'll sparkle beautifully).
  • Shelf-Life: Glitter oxidizes after ~48 hours, turning into harmless sparkle. Its potency decreases gradually, with the first few hours being most dangerous.
  • Storage Hazard: Mishandling a container is just as dangerous to the user as to their enemies.
  • Messy by Nature: Glitter spreads unpredictably; difficult to control its dispersal or prevent contamination of unintended spaces.
DESCRIPTION
Deadly. Fabulous. Impossible to fully clean up. A Whimsy classic, now refreshed for modern chaos.
