Where It All Will End
The collapse of the Diarchy and the Confederation did not bring peace to the Corellian sector, and nowhere was that more evident than in the wake of destruction on Kor Vella and Socorro's Belt.
Still scarred by the fires of Kor Vella, the system had barely begun to recover when the disgraced former Imperial Supreme Commander, now Warlord Marlon Sularen, and those Imperials under his command set out to settle scores. His presence turned the asteroids and mining colonies into contested ground overnight – but Corellia was no longer alone.
With the Corellian Senator Cynan Obaith newly freed from his false imprisonment, a furious and unified response takes shape over the Five Brothers System, as a system-wide initiative was launched with clear intent:
No Imperial remnant would be allowed to fester within Corellian space again, not under the fractured banners of the old Empire, nor under the personal command of a former Imperial Supreme Commander clinging to relevance.
Thus, the High Republic's forces were mobilized alongside Corellia's own militia, their efforts bolstered by the standing Treaty of Twin Crowns retainer agreement between the High Republic and the Mandalorian Empire. Mandalorian warships slipped into the Belt and drop craft slipped through asteroid lanes, where warriors, soldiers, and specialists alike converge on a single objective:
Cleanse the Belt, stabilize the system, and reclaim the future.
System Purge
Location: Socorro's Belt
A joint task force with Republic and Mandalorian forces are mobilizing to eliminate all remaining Imperial-aligned factions operating within Socorro's Belt, including loyalists to Sularen, fragmented Imperial cells, and any opportunistic warbands masquerading as security.
Work as teams alongside Mandalorian forces to secure locations, appropriate Imperial intelligence, resources, and supplies, and to rescue any remaining civilian or Corellian forces under Imperial detainment.
Defense Stabilization and Humanitarian Relief
Location: Kor Vella
The Republic will establish a Forward Operating Base on Kor Vella and in Socorro's Belt with Mandalorian assistance to prevent further Imperial incursions, secure the hyperlanes, and serve as a continuous staging ground for operations.
The Jedi Order is providing immediate aid and long-term recovery support to the Belt and Corellian civilians by assisting with medical needs, repairing infrastructure, distributing resources, and offering protection for displaced populations.
Political Restoration and Fundraising
Location: Coronet City
Senator Cynan Obaith delivered a speech underscoring Corellia's sovereignty and its standing within the High Republic. Following the address, he extended an invitation to allies and the Mandalorian Empire to attend a social fundraising event in commemoration of the day.
The gathering is intended to support Corellia and its neighboring systems while also serving as a forum for networking and negotiation, offering opportunities for noble houses, Senators, ambassadors, world leaders, and corporate interests, including representatives of the Mandalorian Empire to explore future contracts, commissions, and strategic partnerships.
