LFG What's love got to do, got to do with it

I've had Kat in a few romantic situations and I'm aiming for another but I'm not one of those people who like to plan it. I like it to happen organically so the characters have chemistry. So I'm looking for someone who might be open to a romance, but who won't turn into a total jerk if the story just isn't feeling it ya know?

A few stipulations is the character should be a male human, or close to human. The story also needs to make sense. If you are a blood thirsty killer who does nothing but kill, or a cyborg who isn't human then I really don't see that working out with a Jedi. I'm not saying a darksider can't attempt. Sometimes differing theologies are fun. For sure no droids... Kat can go to the store and buy a vibrating sidekick if that was her goal. Sorry metal heads.

Also if you are looking for a happy romance where no tragedy ever happens or we spend all day doing the cyber nasty then....

I'm looking for a fade to black, twist and turns, lots of drama story. Fairy tales where everybody is happy all the time are boring.

The most important thing is it has to be IC chemistry. So all I'm looking for is people to write with to see if that chemistry is there.

Unfortunately the only characters around that are either not used, or Tek, who's a Nautolan. So not human. I use character looks to write my characters a lot and it's just hard to do that for younger male characters that aren't outright children (or anime, in which case they are numerous apparently)

I do have a Zabrak if that species is close enough to human for you. But I'm only going to take him out of inactivity if there's a reason. Due to the manner of his situation, I'd have to explain away why he's no longer with the people he was with. Injury caused amnesia would make the most sense. Aesro is a force sensitive Zabrak, he used to be a slave for quite awhile. Labor mostly, but his physical skill ended up with him being made a guard. He took that chance to escape, met another character who took him as an apprentice and gave him a considerable rank while teaching him things about the force and such. Aesro is an extremely dedicated person but he hasn't had much time to just...enjoy not being at work. So he's not used to a lot of things.

If you do go Aesro, he'll probably be in the process of trying to remember things. Relying on instincts mostly to get around. I will likely give him an age update as well but not sure by how much. Then again, with Amnesia, he wouldn't really know.

Again, not surprised if that is not an option you like. Also, I may not be super available until sometime next week. A bit uncertain. I am on discord, but until next week I'm even less likely to show up there than I am on here.

K KAR Understandable. We can still do non-romantic threads yeah. Tek (The nautolan I mentioned) might work easily for that. He's not got a ship yet so he's probably reliant on other people. And he wouldn't go to planets that are extremely low on water like Tatooine (he hates going un-submerged for long periods of time, very unpleasent). He's definitely friendly enough but really has no idea where he's going anymore after he came off Glee Anselm.

Another possibility is Shavara. She's not as actively friendly but it wouldn't be hard to befriend her. Not a lot of confidence in anything that isn't alchemy or biology. She's a shapeshifter of a race I made. She's an alchemist/biologist mostly, and does know how to use the force in other ways, but avoids doing so for combat. Much preferring negotiation. Unlike Tek she's more likely to just be near Eternal Empire territory. She hates them, and is part of the rebel alliance cause she wants her world freed. But her official job is mostly just scientist/researcher.

I may still bring Aesro back into activity, but I won't decide until next week when I'm back to being more active.

All jokes aside, I don't mind exploring opportunities. Although, my caveat is that I have a tendency of doing long-con relationships if they do end up organically developing. So if romance does develop, it may be a while and through a series of several threads (I like things to end up realistic xD). Additionally, just honest communication if life gets in the way, not feeling the vibe or muse, clarity on expectations, and understanding that if the writer of said significant other disappears off the face of the web, no hurt feelings are had if my guy process his grief as realistically as possible and lives his life. Otherwise, a cool friendship or rivalry with a sassymcsassy pants with a few or more rough edges could apply!

I'll be honest, I can't give you a total rundown on this char -- there are a lot of things going on with him. However, the IC discovery can be a neat thing. And no, I'm not volunteering Red here. And none of my other (organic) characters would be good fits. I mean, unless you think that a red-haired, witty, vaguely stubborn, genetically enhanced super-soldier with some mental disorders like OCD that is a Jedi Knight that might be a bit overprotective and is skilled in combat would be a good fit with Katherine...Then sure, I guess. I have no idea if they would be a good fit or not. But I guess that's kind of what you want, huh? Just throwing stuff at a wall and seeing if it works naturally.
