What Have We Here? (Nyra, interested TSOers)

Whatever the outcome between [member="Velok the Younger"] and [member="Arianna Devi"]'s little gambit was, ultimately, of no concern to the Dark Lord and his ritual. The girl's threat had been rendered moot as far as Carnifex was concerned, and his attention quickly veered back to the task at hand. He reached over and yanked the blade free of the Knight's hand, blood misting out from the grievous wound now that the obstruction had been removed. One of the Elom moved to restrain the Jedi's hand with a new link of chain, making sure than it was firmly secured by anchoring it to the altar itself with long metal spikes driven in by crude hammers made from the same material. The other Elom and the two Whiphids proceeded to reinforce the other chains in the same manner, and after a momentary test they moved back so that Carnifex could continue unabated.

Oddly enough Carnifex would clean the blade with a stray piece of cloth that he just so happened to have on his person at the time, wiping away the blood that had congealed from when he drove its point straight through the boy's hand to re-pin him. Once the blade was cleared of any blemishes the Dark Lord continued where he left of in inscribing ancient Sith symbols into the boy's bare flesh, each stroke of the blade's edge carving apart the flesh in intricate patterns that were only known to those who had explicitly studied the dark arcane arts of the long dead Sith. His chest was the principle canvas for this sort of mutilation, but the Dark Lord made sure to inscribe certain runes on the boy's face and arms, taking particular care to cut the Sith sun into his forehead.

The last inscription was finally made, blood flowing freely over the altar and onto the barren earth to color it burgundy. Carnifex raised his blood-coated blade above his head with one arm, his eyes glowing with dark magic that stained the sclera a fathomless black. He then began to speak in the language of the ancient Sith, a haunting blasphemous growl that grated against the spine and chilled the blood.

"Mis tuti ri shukûâ iw wuts, nidiri an tuti ri miyisosûtras iw tsakwa! Nidiri an tuti dzno an nia!"

Each word, each syllable, was enhanced by extravagant gestures of his hands and arms, wide sweeping motions that invoked a sense of mystic tribalism inherent in the ancient ways. But as he spoke the Knight began to awaken, his eyes fluttering open as his muscles tensed and struggled against his bonds. Deep azure eyes stared up in horror at the Sith Lord who spoke so reverently in a tongue he couldn't even begin to comprehend.

"Sûsasosûtsi Bogan! Diar totia saiyir mohtonasi sis drijada an tutzara... Titsû mus witsizi j'us na sis aukotis! An riajazi j'us ir tu'iyia tnuta, an shasona ri shukûâ sosûturwasi, an jani arsia dzis ri tsûtri wa iw ri Tsis!"

Carnifex was now practically upon the Knight, his blade poised to strike as the Dark Side swelled for what was about to transpire. The shadows began to grow longer and the air became heavy with the putrid stench of fetid blood. Nature itself seemed to seethe in response to the Dark Lord's words, writhing in disgust at the abhorrence. He positioned the dagger's tip at the center of the Jedi's chest, a small incision being made every time the Jedi drew breath.

"Jidai Diyinita, wohmotai iw ri Tsis! Na tu'iyia kraujas mis hatsizi ri tinaza iw tu'iyia Kirjis, diâ ri isatratsa iw ri Bogan."

Without warning the Sith Lord plunged the blade deep into the Jedi's chest and began to saw back in forth up and down the sternum until a great crevasse had been opened. He plunged his hand deep inside, his fingers wrapping around the Jedi's heart, and with a content sigh he tore it free with hardly any effort. The organ continued to palpitate in his bloody hand, and he raised it high above his head for all in attendance to see. Behind him the hooded servants that accompanied him to Malachor revealed a brazier hoisted on a metal stand, and with a whisper the basin ignited with a great roar as a spout of orange flame sprung up from the charcoal. Carnifex hovered the hand that held onto the heart above the flames, each weakening palpitation spilling droplets of blood onto the voracious pyre, and proceeded to drop the heart directly onto the inferno.

The fire quickly devoured the sacrifice, the flames becoming black and eldritch as the flesh burned away. As the heart withered away in the heat, so too did the flesh of the Jedi's body ignite in conjunction. The fire would devour the body quickly, leaving behind only the skeleton charred black. A word of power bubbled past the Sith Lord's lips as he reached out into the air, his fingers now wrapping around an intangible glimmer of light. He walked over to where the skeleton lay upon the altar, and thrust the glimmer into the skull which shone with an unnatural brilliance upon contact. The chains that once bound the Jedi now surged forth to constrict and ensnare the blackened skeleton, wrapping it up in a cocoon of metal before the spikes that had secured it to the altar now secured it to the nearest high-rise of rock to suspend the corpse several meters above the ground.

Only the skull would be visible through the writhing mass of chains, the eyes glowing with an agonized light. "A suitable message for the Silver Jedi. I have bound the boy's soul to what remained of his mortal coil, and now it suffers perpetually."
