The WESTAR-3500 is based on the WESTAR-35, a handgun that was widely favored by humans of Mandalorian heritage, who would very often dual-wield them in combat. Besides its official designation, it was also referred to as a "MandalTech Jai'galaar model." The pistol features a stun setting and sealed low-maintenance construction.The angular design of the weapon is consistent with typical Mandalorian artistic style. The Mandalorian Sabine Wren's blasters featured: a precision barrel, a cooling unit, rapid burst power cache, gas and power cell cartridge slot unit, a magnetic-grip handle, a low-power pulse warning, pressure-sensitive trigger, and a flash suppressor. Like other Mandalorian blasters, the WESTAR-3500 is able to shoot both yellow and blue colored blaster bolts. These two sidearms were given as retirement gifts to the brothers.
