Carliah Dakrone
Walking the Path to Redemption
Lilythe was in a large clearing in the woods a short distance from her cabin. The ranger had converted the area into a shooting range to practice with her bow. She grabbed and arrow from her quiver and took up a position at the edge of the clearing. She held the bow in her right hand and slowly raised it while pulling the arrow back. The limbs creaked slightly and she smirked. Her joy was short lived though, as the strain from trying to pull the string back was too much for her non-dominant hand. The string slapped against her arm as her grip slipped, causing the arrow to simply to flop a short distance forward and roll across the ice that topped the snow in the clearing.
"DAMN IT! What's the point in staying here if I can't even fight anymore. I can't shoot with my left hand. I've been trying for weeks and it's not working!" the angry forest-dweller screamed, throwing her bow to the ground and glaring up at the sky. 'WHAT THE HELL DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS?!"
