Welcome to the fold (Mando Dominion of Adumar: 100 post goal)

Ordo climbed and rolled back toward the base. His sensors marked the nest highlighted by Mantis' HUD. The beams of energy sprang from the Vhe'viin's laser cannons as he tore a line through the Machine gun emplacements.

"Nest clear." Ordo said into the comm as he streaked by and came about for another run.

Betna glanced at his comm and read the text from Arla. He grinned in his helmet and responded.

I'm not too keen on dying today anyways. See you when we get back

With that he felt the shuttle lift off and out the hangar. He glanced around at the Mandalorians in the shuttle with him and wondered how many would come back this time.

Gae'celic Alor, Master Beskarsmith
Mac was sitting in the drop pod, his Strill 2000 on his lap as he tried to decide which rounds to load. 'Screw it!' He thought as he slapped a full mag of HE rounds into it. Oh, these guys were in for a surprise when the doors opened. Looking at the others, Mac just shrugged, "Alrig't, w'at did one stormtrooper marksman say to t'e ot'er stormtrooper marksman?" Waiting a few seconds before answering, he just smiled under his buy'ce. "Not'ing a Stormtrooper marksman doesn't exist..."

Mac's comedic talent was definitely bottom of the barrel, but he knew tha if the others weren't relaxed that some or all wouldn't be making the trip home...

Frowning, Anija sat across from Mac. She was nervous. 'Combat training' buir had said. She'd had no idea he meant something like this. Sure, she had combat training, but she certainly didn't feel ready for this.

Swearing under her breath, she checked to make the power cell on her ripper was firmly in place. It was, and she continued checking the rest of her gear. @[member="Ordo"] had given her a rather plain looking set of armor. Something he'd called a 'clan skin' - basic armor used by most mandalorians as they progressed. At least it was customizable to a degree.

She looked across the bay at Mac, shaking her head and groaning at his joke. Hopefully, all the training from Ordo would help her stay alive. She only recognized Mac by his armor and the weapon he always carried. A few others seemed familiar, but she couldn't figure out why.

The Mandalorian fleet pressed forward trudging along as they exchanged volleys with the Adumarian. @[member="Isley Verd"] will be slashing across the capitols at any moment while Strider commanded the entire fleet to dig deep into the admuarian Fleet. This maneuver was known as the Ackbar slash, where the one fleet will move into the oppositions formation cuddling up to close quarter tactics and broad side ordinance where enemy friendly fire was almost a guarantee. It was balls to the wall now As Strider aggressively tried to break the back of defenders once and for all.

The hound of keldabe had himself strapped into his command chair as his ship vibrated heavily with the exchange of fire. It was exhilirating and frightening at the same time. At any moment the capitol ship could bust a part all with in would be nothing but space debris. At the same time though, he was taking the fight to the enemy and cracking skulls as if he was wielding a war-hammer. War was only won with absolute grotesque violence, and Strider as a very violent man. As much as the mandalorian fleet was taking a pounding it was dishing out just as much and double for they had the initiative, the discipline and the guts.

The mandalorian drop pod would tear into the Adumarian atmosphere raining the highly trained warrior race upon the planet. Drake Garon's and @[member="Aran Ordo"] Pod was aimed at one the the continents space ports. Their job was simple, neutralize the objective with minimal collateral damage. The ride down was a thrill as usual, even to the harden veterans that have done this hundreds of times.

Drake could hear and feel the flak guns trying to fend off the invasion but it would be futile, Once the Mandos have boots on the ground there isn't much that will save them from occupation.

The Pod hit planet side, the doors exploding outwards for rapid deployment. Drake was the first out the door, his beskar blast shield at the ready that defended against a burst of bolts that placated off the shield. Drake would return fire at the defending troops piling out of the hangar that they landed next to.

Mac burst out of the drop pod into a hail of blaster fire. Grinning under his buy'ce, he simply raised the shotgun into firing possition and depressed the trigger. In about six and a half seconds the 32 round mag was emptied, and the hanger full of troops was utterly demolished.

"I 'ope somebody got a good count of those enemies... Gonna be 'ard to now..." Mac simply reloaded some slug rounds and pulled his ripper, letting the shotgun hang on it's sling. Turning to the others, he simply shrugged, "Ok boys, w'ere to next?"

Arans rifle popped out around Drake's shield as his double tapped the Adumaran troops one after another. He didn't lower his weapon from his shoulder as he pivoted on his feet from side to side as he moved to the side to cover the other Vode as they left the pod.

An Adumaran soldier rushed them with a famed blastsword drawn.

'Tap tap!' Said Aran's Gladiator rifle.

'Bamm' said the Adumaran blastsword.

The shot hit Aran on the left and knocked him back a little, as Aran's Shots killed the man.

"That one's mine." He said as he resumed the fight.

Ordo came around and aimed his fighter at the base again. His engines screamed as he tore through the air. He opened fire straight at the Adumaran Hangerbay and released to concussion missles
. The missles streaked to the hanger and blew out a wall and collapsed the building.

The Mandalorian fleet tore through the Adumarian's formation with such ferocity that their standing fleet began to crumble, discipline broke and moral was non existent. The enemy fleet was shattered to pieces and those that survived the aggressive maneuver began to split from their tattered formation and made for escape. The battle for space superiority over Adumar had been won, The mandalorians were victorious in this chapter of the campaign. Now all that was left for the fleet was to nip at the heels of the retreating ships and aid with the subjugation of the planet through Air superiority and precision orbital strikes.

"Kill em!" The son of Strider growled as he aggressively rushed forward exchanging blaster bolts with the adumarian forces and defending himself with the large round shield he carried to battle. Two security agents rushed Drake with blastswords blazing away tell they got into close quarters with the shield wielding mandalorian. With quick reflexes Drake engaged the two, crashing the edge of his shield into the first man's throat. Then met the second man, smiting him with a mighty shield bash that through him off his feet. Drake would then double tap each downed man before moving on and continuing the advance towards the hangar.

Ordo watched as the ground troops began to over power the Adumaran forces. The Adumarans were worthy opponents but the training and spirit of a warrior was forged like beskar into every Mandalorian troop. Ordo was proud as he saw Drake and Aran fighting side by side even as their Buirs had done.

He looped back as a few Adumaran fighters fled the orbital battle and sought refuge in the atmosphere. However, no quarter would be found today. Ordo marked the targets and in a moment of respect for the excellent pilots he sent Orders to the remaining Striils.

"Ground the fighters if you can." He said. "They might make good vode someday.

The big clone dropped of of the drop ship door and moved away taking a knee and firing his heavy repeater at the enemy teoops. His mind was focused on the objective. Destroy enemy opposition and secure the planet was all he cared to know.

His weapon swept the Adumaran lines as the Mandalorians advanced. This was his purpose. Heavy support and demolitions were his only calling. He layed down heavy fire and only pause to change powerpacks as he began to advance silently with the Mandalorians. This was where he belonged. Engaging the enemy and tasting the kote of battle. Here he wasn't the broken clone here he was alive and in control. Maybe when the fighting was over he would return to his docile state but for now he would bask in the feeling of clarity.

Anija was but a few steps behind Mac, her ripper aimed over his shoulder and to the side as she carefully picked off the Adumarans one by one who poked their heads out into the street as the Mandalorians advanced along the street which led away from the hangar. This was truly the first time she'd been in actual combat, and she was nervous. She glanced up as she heard @[member="Ordo"]'s fighter roar overhead, and then brought her gaze back to the street in front of them. The sound of his shotgun was... oddly comforting, and it helped her focus again.

Kable ran through the checklist of his gear as the drop pod plummeted to the surface of Adumar. Heavy blaster pistol: check. Light repeater: check. Thermal detonators: 3, and check. Armor: duh.
Kable was one of the only two confirmed survivors of Clan Detta. The other survivor was in fact sitting across from him. @Nolan Detta

The drop pod hit the surface, and Mandalorians poured out to unleash chaos on Adumar. Kable charged down the ramp, paving the way with his light repeater. The security forces of Adumar were putting up a fight, but their opponents were Mandos, so for them, there was no hope.

Kable saw two Adumarians firing at him from behind a crate. He returned fire as he charged forward. Accuracy wasn't Kable's intent at the moment, he just wanted to keep them pinned behind cover. Upon reaching the crate, Kable launched himself over it and brought the stock of his repeater down on one of the now surprised Adumarians faces. With a crunching sound, he fell to the ground. Once Kable's feet hit the ground, he dispatched the second one with a quick burst of his repeater.

After dispatching those two, Kable made his way to the hanger after @[member="Drake Garon"]

VELMOR

Meanwhile, back on Velmor.

Ozmeri Gitana'ti, the princess and heir to the throne gave a slight upward glance at the handmaiden beside her. Aquamarine eyes carefully observed the woman, before she asked in a soft voice.

"Just what is the status at Adumar?" she asked, the pearls of her headdress dangling lightly as she moved a dejarik piece into place. The Miralukan female in front of her gave a slight pause, and studying the options presented.

"The Mandalorian clans should be wrapping up their assault upon the Adumar system, your Highness," came the reply.

Ozmeri seemingly contemplated this news, her eyes narrowing slightly.

"What will they do there?" she mused aloud, curious, perhaps at the fate of Adumar.

Ordo watched as his ad'ika Aran and Anija did him proud. His eyes shifted over the battle. It would be over soon.

He looked around and saw the landing pad of the Government building. It was time to go and offer one last chance to keep their planet and as the ranking officer he would take the hit.

Bap bap.."18"

Pop pop..."19"

He pulled back an arm and launched a grenade through a window.

BAM!

"23" he said as he gave Drake a running tally of kills.

It looked like they would be done aooner than he thought.

VELMOR
The Miralukan handmaiden moved her piece, prompting the princess into studying her own options. She seemingly mulled over her options, aquamarine eyes keenly reviewing the possibilities. Ah the endless possibilities.

There were so many to choose from. But only one led to truth. To Destiny. To Victory. Slender fingers artfully made her choice to win the game.

With a sated smile, the Princess made her move, glancing up at her handmaiden, "Arrange a meeting with the Mandalorian clans. Perhaps it is time to finally meet with Mandalore, hmm?" she said, musing aloud with a becoming smile.

"As you wish, your Highness." came the slight incline of the handmaiden's head.

The big clone stomped forward. His weapon pouring blaster fire into the enemy troops.
They had all but destryed the resistance now.

"I like fighting with mandos." He said happily.
