The Lion King
The Silver Temple
Voss
"Thurion, something has happened. I'm leaving the Jedi Order and the Republic behind."
"W-what? Why, Master?"
"The Order has gone too far, and did some bad things, even though they didn't mean to. But I cannot just sit idly by and watch what I've believed in for so long crumble before my eyes."
"B-but... But where will you be going?"
"Master Jaxton and a few others are leaving as well. We're going to a planet called 'Teth', far away from the Republic."
"Teth...? But - when are you leaving, Master?"
"Tonight, Thurion. I'm leaving tonight, and I fear I won't come back in a long, long time..."
"I... Let me come with you, Master! Please!"
"Thurion... Are you sure? Would you be so willing give up everything you've come to know here at the Jedi Temple?"
"Y-you... You are my everything, Master Asha. I will follow you everywhere."
Countless other memories swirled about his weary head as Thurion stood upon the balcony overlooking the planet Voss. The ghost of his beloved Asha would never truly leave him, nor did he wish her to. Her spirit watching over him has been instrumental in shaping him into what he is today, and every waking moment the man, now standing in the shoes of a once small boy being carried in her arms from the fire that took from him everything, hopes that she would approve of his choices in life. It seems an eternity ago; the day he followed Asha to Teth, thereby leaving the Jedi Order behind and branded a rogue and a renegade. 15 years ago, now...
Times were changing: the Levantine Sanctum, now a blossoming ideal made reality, has recently been looking for friendship in the Order of the Silver Jedi. That day had now come and the two look upon eachother as brothers, sisters, and allies. So it was that he, recently dubbed Master Heavenshield by his peers, arrived on Voss to see his friend, Jedi Master [member="Iella E'ron"]. They had met before on Tython, back when he had just been knighted and she was still with the Jedi Order. An immidiate respect and friendship began to flourish between the two, and it was for this reason Thurion had come to the Silver Temple with a request in tow. One he had been carrying around in the back of his head for 15 years.
A breeze swept across the balcony where he was stood, flowing through his golden hair and tickling his beard. Robes fluttered in the mild wind as he gazed into the distance. Every time, he thought he could make out the shape of his master on the horizon, and each time he thought he did, he wished she would be smiling back at him.
