We Will Build Bridges

Nima Tann

Master of Her Own Destiny
"The pleasure is all mine." A smile formed on her face, the last crack of the wall that was between them all along. If she heard this apology a few weeks ago, that would be enough for her to be happy and feel as a winner, and probably she would remind him every time that he did, but now, the apology was not needed, because she was aware that all things that they lived, they weren't themselves, they were walking on a dark path and he was possessed by a ancient spirit which wanted to destroy the mankind. "One shouldn't be kept responsible for the things that he didn't say or do. So... you don't have any reason to apologise too, Connor Harrison. You are already forgiven." The words spoken were the truth, no more hate or anger, just the happy feeling of being forgiven. "I am glad you have found your purpose."

She slowly moved towards the medical droid, which was applying some medicine to the open wounds and petted it's shoulder, and the droid made happy voices to this action of Nima, like a little child. She always found the core of the droids interesting, they weren't alive, they were programmed by a organic being, but they could reprogram themselves to understand the organics and apply some basic actions that the organics do when they communicate. Pretty impressive, she could say. "I trust this buddy here that he will take care of him good and make him ready for action in a week. Hmm?" She said, in a sarcastic way. She knew that he would get better in days, considering his strong nature. And probably get wounds again because of his heroic nature, saving someone. Probably... "And I know you don't care about being famous. That course of action will get you fame, in a good or a bad way. I don't know what will they think, but I am just happy that you are in one piece."

Aika Kawakami

Can one find true light when shadowed in darkness?
Her head canted to the side s she watched Nima and Connor chat, a deep and heavy sighed bursting forward, almost as if she were trying to cut into the conversation. "Well look at you two. Some things never change, or at least not that much. Through this, and over time, the two of you have developed a type of bond. Quite the interesting one, if I may say so myself. There's a type of bond that you share.."

Aika's eyes danced toward Iella, smirking as she watched the woman. It was, without a doubt, a surreal feeling for all them to be standing together as they were. The gaze shifted back towards Nima and Connor, bouncing between the two. "No matter. When the two of you have some time, we should speak.Separately, and privately, of course." With a swift pivot, she turned her back to the others, the slow pace of her steps removing herself from the facility. "When you are ready, I have doubt you'll figure out how to find me."

Connor was all too aware of the other set of eyes watching him; watching them, and didn't react too much to Nima. He just listened as the final dressing was applied and various implements were set down. The medical droids certainly did just what they were programmed to do, better than sentient beings at times. No delaying, no second thought, just swift action regardless of the pain; they just made you feel that little better.

He smiled and chuckled slightly as the Padawan talked.

"I'm fine, really. Small steps forward, that's what I need."

With a flurry of beeps, the droid was finished. Connor sat with dressing up his right side and over his right wrist. The cuts to his neck and face were cleaned and should heal over time, no lasting scaring. Physically he was the best he could be. Mentally...well that was another story. The nagging headache Connor had since leaving Ord Mantell didn't worry him, and after the probing of a Sith Lord to the very fragile areas of his brain, he expected nothing more.

When Aika seemed to slide between them both, speaking up, Connor drifted his eyes to meet her as he set about standing from the bed. The first thing he needed to do was get to his chambers, take some time out and decide his new clothing.

Connor met Nima's eyes quickly and gave a bemused raise of the brows and purse of the lips - from a time when they seemed to share hostility, Aika now had pricked his interest by being restrained. Maybe his actions had sparked something inside the mysterious Silver Jedi Master? Who knew.

"If you wish to talk Aika, head to my chambers from here and wait. I shall be there soon. If you're not there, I'll find you when I'm ready.

Certainly this was a home coming full of surprises.

For of surprise was indeed, after their meeting deep with in the peaceful garden one she thought she only knew about. Only to to have the presents of Connor present himself there. It was with in this time that things got what could one say a little sticky and complicated. After that day even those she had her duty for the order as their Master healer of Order. Connor wasn't far from her own thoughts. It was during those times she was sink herself deep with in meditation. It was the only way to find some peace with the given situations. Even those she didn't know where he was or if he would even make it back.

A piece of her wasn't a peace not like that first day meeting when she grew those wonderful peace peaches. Finding that from that day on even those Connor being very shy around her. It only puzzled her more what took place with in the hidden of the garden that day a while back. In a way she had her own demon to face even then she had one that she would be remind of every day for the rest of her life. Such a give it was to have the little ones she been blessed with. It came with a very high price one which was her most guarded secret. One moment back in the garden she wanted to spill all out to Connor what had been done what not even the Grandmaster knew after the testing was done.

Destroying it was the only way she saw could be the out come, of her mistakes to pay dearly for. She had came to care for each everyone of her fellow Silver more closer to others. Even that had taken a heavy and confusing troll on her at times.

It was words that had came, that once again Connor walk among them or at less was back he in the medical. Putting down her studies for the day on some more of herbal lore. As she had been known to call it from time to time. Really it was just having a deeper respect for the nature side of the force.

As she walked into the room after finding out from one of the healers that was on duty. Seeing them working on him. At first she just stared at all in the room. What a gathering he had with in the room. This one though came to her mine only to push it away quickly. "Connor its a joy be on words to have you back among us.", Not thinking more of a natural to her as most had came to know about her. Stepping up to him with out thought and kissing him on both cheeks and his forehead.

"I hope my healers and medical personal is taking good care of you.", , it was after this little bit becoming lost for words. As she made her bow before the others in the room giving their due respect. Sense something more going on. It was the way she had her eyes back upon Connor sending him a message. we have much to talk about, appolizes to be made..but not now you need to get back on your feet, sweet Connor."

The aura of the Force around Connor was strong – revitalizing and refreshing. It signified he wasn’t dead to the others; as in, he could feel them around him and hopefully they could feel him. Working to build unification once more would be his goal, but the fact he felt alive again was only a good thing. And it was made better by facing those with other motives than just happy welcomes. It helped remind Connor of his failures, of his redemptions and his goals to achieve in the future.

He heard Maya before he saw her behind the others. Her smooth voice and calming nature evident the second she came through, surrounded by the very essence of the medical bay staff, healers and treatments that she too strived to develop

Connor hadn’t her face around here for a while, so he greeted her with a knowing smile.

”I couldn’t fault your equipment and treatment even if I tried, Master Whitelight. Thank you, and it’s a pleasure to see you again.”

She locked eyes with him and he heard her voice inside his head, louder than normal, but soothing amdist the unknown darkness planted in there.

Connor simply nodded to the healer.

”I have taken up a great deal of all your time, and I have many wrinkles to smooth out I feel over the next few days – the first being a new set of clothes! You don't know how much it means to see you all again.”

He didn't need to say more at risk of being overly sentimental. He had to work his way up gradually - but if they could read him, they'd know how grateful he was.

As he was enjoying the company of those closest to him, he knew there were more matters to attend to on his return instead of all smiles and sugar-coated greetings. However, it had made him feel his return was far more welcomed than he had expected.
