[Darth Abyss]

Thanks to the current Fnrp thread Abyss knows about the rise of the Contingency (depending on how the thread goes he probably won't know much more than that a very powerful, unknown faction is making pretty bold moves), and I think a appropriate reaction would be to already get ready for resistance.

Obviously I don't want to interfere with what Staff has planned for the event (to which I really look forward), meaning that we will play this pretty low key.

For now my idea would basically be to set up a Nightswatch inspired ragtag group patrolling the edges of the galaxy, keeping watch for any unexplainable events taking place there, while trying to find out as much as possible about the coming threat (for example by contacting the few groups that also had first contact).

So yeah, anyone interested in tagging along?

Edit: For extra GoT flavour I'm gonna assume that most people won't believe a single word about this threat lol.

Depending on how things go for her in the current FNRP thread, she may be interested in this.

Super Minor detail, but if we do this we need a cool name, because sadly the Nightswatch isn't that fitting for the current situation lol. Ideas are very appreciated, mine currently are:

I can't get involved directly right now, as my faction's resources are limited and require attention (AKA I need to do threads). However, we can stay in touch. And your Nightswatch can call upon the Shrouded Republic's help for when the actual event starts. Got a Star Destroyer, a few light cruisers and a bunch of troops that we can deploy.
