STRENGTHS
  • Heavy Armaments - The Warrior-class was developed to provide additional support to larger vessels and is known to boast an increased armament. This armaments also include heavier variants of standardized weapon systems.
  • Bolstered Defenses - To ensure that the vessel would be capable of withstanding a barrage from the Starships it would often be thrown against, the vessel was designed with increased defensive measures.
WEAKNESSES
  • Reduced Speed - The addition of heavier defenses has resulted in a lower speed as a result of the added weight. This renders the vessel slower than similarly sized vessels or those Corvettes with lighter armor.
  • Negative Hangar Capacity - Due to the focus on increased armaments and heavier defenses the Warrior-class lacks an internal hangar capacity and is incapable of deploying either Starfighter or Support Craft Squadrons. Likewise, it lacks the capacity to carry a singular smaller craft.
  • Minimal Maneuverability - Though utilizing a basic hull design and internal systems as the Agave-class, the Warrior-class was developed with a focus on attack and defense. This has also resulted in a drop in its overall maneuverability, with the vessel not being as nimble as similarly sized vessels.
DESCRIPTION
Whereas the Agave-class was developed and designed to pull the fog of war away and reveal the unknown beneath, the Warrior-class was developed and designed to provide the heavy ordnance and armaments needed to strike at the unknown. These vessels were produced with the intention of pitting them against heavier warships, often Frigates or Light Cruisers; either as a first strike option or in support of larger formations. Due to this, the Warrior-class was designed with bolstered defenses and increased capabilities to ensure that the vessels would be able to withstand a prolonged engagement. However, the increased weight of the additional armaments and defenses has resulted in a marked drop in its speed and a noticable impact on its overall maneuverability.

Likewise, the installation of heavier armaments and additional defenses consumed much of the internal cavity of the vessel. This has rendered the Warrior-class incapable of carrying either Starfighter or Support Craft Squadrons or even the means to carry a singular smaller craft due to its lack of hangar capacity. Though this drawback can result in the vessel being swarmed by smaller craft, its greatest strength comes from having these vessels deployed in small groups to cover one another or to strike in tandem against a designated target.

Even with its considerably slower speed and maneuverability for a vessel its size, it is still capable enough to rapidly strike at larger vessels. Likewise, the Warrior-class excels when paired with a formation of Agave-class Picket Ships or similarly designed vessels that complement the Gunship's strengths and weaknesses. As an added note, the production of these vessels follows a focus on efficiency, as the basic hull design and systems of the vessel are also utilized in the production of the Agave-class Picket Ship.
