Wait they have big teeth? (Dev thread for Tikulini hide)

I was staying a slight distance from the woman who came to pick me up. She had not told me her name yet, but I would have to trust her soon enough. She was going to be the groups guide that had come together for exploring the caves on Jazbina. I already knew that they were rare, because I had not heard them until I accepted the signing.

Really I was here because I wanted to see if maybe this skin could do something to help in my control of the poisons in my arm. I had my cloak over it for right now. I didn't want to meet the woman with a weird red and black arm that radiated the Dark side of the force. Sitting behind her I had on my back my vibrosword and the blaster rifle that I had stolen from the Empire as I escaped. I kept the rifle next to me and visible so maybe the woman wouldn't be scared? I doubted it though.

I leaned up from my seat and decided to ask a question, "You wouldn't mind if I asked your name? Or why you decided to pick me up?"

((OOC: The rest of you post about how you get there.))

The Aurora Hawk was a sight for sore eyes, a bit dusty here and there, but otherwise, good and faithful. DOT and Arr-Nine were doing their own thing, setting up YZ-1200 for the escort flight she was hired on for.

The young woman was dressed in olive brown cargo pants, tanned calf length boots, a beige button up blouse with a dark brown leather vest over it. A uliltity belt hung low on her hips along with what appeared to be a blaster of sorts on her right thigh, although it was really a stun weapon. She had what appeared to be some kind of flashlight on her, but it was so well secured under a sheath of leather it was hard to determine if that was it's function.

Her wavy blonde hair had been haphazardly tied back high at the crown of her head in a ponytail, with remnant strands dancing here and there in the dry arid air. She had a small datapad in her hand, one she was looking over details of things, when she heard someone speaking behind her.

Turning half of her torso to face him, she gave him a couple of curious blinks before giving a shrug.

"Was told to," she admitted with a faint smile. "I'm just here for pick up. The rest of them folks should be wandering in soon."

Zaden enjoyed crowds. So many people, so many stories. Everyone had somewhere to go, and their reason was the most important. And so they ebbed and flowed, never concerned with the person next to them, only their particular destination. Except for Zaden, he loved watching people. So, he glided with the current.

Fortunately, they were mostly headed in the direction that he was going. He was dressed in a sleeveless black shirt and brown trousers, his black boots clicked as he walked. His dark brown duster had a hood which he kept up to be more inconspicuous. His pale skin tended to draw attention. He sported a utility belt, but no blaster. He kept his Tehk'la blade sheathed horizontally at the small of his back.

He was headed to the hanger bay which berthed the Aurora Hawk. A ship which held many a story attached to its mantel. The Aurora Hawk, was scheduled to charter him, and a handful of others to Jazbina, or so, that's what the contract said... Zaden didn't really care, he was just excited for a chance to ride on such a vessel!

He finally arrived at the appropriate docking bay and stepped inside. Before him was an outstanding YZ-1200, which could only be the Aurora Hawk. The landing ramp was down so Zaden walked up and stood just at the bottom. He looked down and inspected his ruck sack and pulled down his hood and shook out his long, wild black hair. He called up into the ship
"Hello? I hope I'm in the right place. I was told to report here for passage to Jazbina?"

Krest moved his way through the crowd to @[member="Chloe Blake"]. He had every intention of joining this expedition, if only to pass some time. He wore the signature Templar armor and kept the hood on, glancing to the small group. On his person was a crossbow on his back and the hilt of a blade on his hip. This was all he needed to be prepared at least.

"Am I late?"

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
A constant tune sounded as Alexandra camein, whistling while she read and manuvered through the tables without ever looking up from what she was reading until she was at the table. She wore more functional Robes than normal, due to the nature of this undertaking, on her back a slugthrower rifle along with at her side a back up slugthower pistol. She had both her sabers, of course the Holocron she kept on her at all times and lastly in her hand not holding the Datapad a vibroblade that remained in its sheath. She looked up for a moment, looking around before speaking only a few words. "I assume im in the right place?"

"Well... ya'll sure you didn't timed this?" Chloe asked with a smirk on her lips, bringing her datapad up to pull up the names.

"Let's see... Looking for a... Nickolas.... Alexandra... Krest ... and a.... Zaden?" she perked a blonde eyebrow at the four individuals, then pointed a finger over to Krest. "Lemme guess... Alexandra?" she teased with a lighthearted air.

Alexandra smiled at the joke, mostly because not only a week ago she had met this Krest at Togoria, odd running into him again. Though i guess coincidences like this happen quite often in her life, making it all the more fun in the long run as sh would have more and stronger contacts than if she just sat around doing nothing, like usual. But she was after this creature for one reason, it was a test for herself and if she passed it a way for her to improve herself and even better improve her robes if she and these four, or three if the guide did not join in, could kill it.

Zaden smiled. He appreciated a good sense of humor, and this one seemed to be full of jokes, they would get along famously.
"What? I don't look like an Alaxandra?" Zaden quipped sarcastically. His voice was smooth and silky.

Extending out his hand to their new Captain, (@[member="Chloe Blake"]) Zaden said
"I, am Zaden. It's is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. Do you go by Captain? or is there another mantel you prefer?"

Looking I saw that I had already net with the Zabrak @[member="Krest"] before. I only nodded to him and stood up from my seat, As others were coming up, what seemed to be all at the same time. Which was rather funny at the moment. The man who had rather grey skin walked up and introduced himself as Zaden. I smiled at him with my greeting. Keeping quiet. Alexandria also came. Which brought the odds of three guys with two girls. I thought about it alittle and moved my mind to the task at hand.

"Names Nicholas, Glad to meet all of you."

The blonde woman gave them all a welcoming grin, rocking upon the soles of her boots while they presented themselves. With a small sassy air, she gave an impish grin and told Zaden,"Captain serves well." she told them, "but I also answer to Chloe as well."

She gave them a dazzling smile, nodding at the rest of them. "Well, looks like you are all here." she checked off her datapad. "I already loaded up the Aurora with all the what have you ya'll need. Let's go in and I'll give the run down before we head on off to the destination."

A pause.

"Are there any questions?"

Alexandra nodded and tugged on the strap that held the rifle on her back, before speaking once. "I just need to grab one thing and ill meet you at the by to your ship, ive already looked into it and dont worry about me forgetting which it is, i never forget anything." She walked off without a word to her own place on the station where she could pick up her armor, once she had it in arm she headed off to the bay where her ship lay and would get on it with them.

I shook my head as clearly this woman would be the one who was taking us, and guiding us there. With how large these worms were I expected that it would take all of us to kill the beast. The Aurora was Chloe's ship and I didn't see any supplies when I was on there. But that could be true that I didn't know what the stuff was. Either way, I would literally have to trust everyone here with my life. as this could be dangerous.

"I have none."

"Good!" she waved them inside with a warm smile, talking while she walked, "This is the Aurora, should be your home for the next week or so while we head off to Jazbina." she told them, her boots making a soft thud against the durasteel grate floor, waving them in past the loading ramp as she stood next to the console to start the hydraulics.

"Anyone ever been to Jazbina before?" she asked, friendly like as always. Her eyes were dancing with excitement, "Now there are some stories there," she said, and as soon as they all entered, she went ahead and closed the ramp, the hydraulics giving a soft hum as it shut behind them.

"Shouldn't take too long to get there," she told them, walking on ahead on the first floor deck, where they would see the old mule, as she affectionately called the open aired speeder and cargo transport.

"The real effort comes in finding the proper mining tunnels. Half of them have been abandoned for some time now... most needing repair. It ain't a walk on the farm fields," she advised.

I followed after Chloe, as she told about how finding the right tunnel would be hard. ANd that it may take a long time. Really I just wondered, if these things were a large and beastly as the stories told.

I only smiled and shook my head. "Looks like we are all going to be acquainted by the end of this trip."

Alexandra set her stuff down in one of the Crew bays and laid back on a bunk in it, breathing in and looking at the ceiling, she already missed Alderaan but this would be a quick journey for a much needed prize, she would just have to remember to survive this. Hearing the question she answered without so much as sitting up. "Never been there myself and im sure theres a clever way we can kill this thing, they cant be two hard to kill with the right weapon." She had brought a vibroblade and two slugthrowers for that reason, they may be energy resistant but lets see them block solid metal through the skull. @[member="Nickolas Imura"] @[member="Chloe Blake"] @[member="Krest"] @[member="Zaden"]

Zaden climbed aboard the Aurora Hawk, she truly was a beauty. The others were talking about Jazbina and the mining tunnels. Zaden had no input on either subject as this would be his first time there. But from the general consensus, this mission could be dangerous.
He took a quick tour of the ship as the rest of the party was settling in, then made his way to the nearest viewport to watch their departure...
