- Nearly Indestructible: The VRV-3020 is designed to withstand the conditions of almost any planet, and can shrug damage that would leave similar vehicles as scrap metal. This extends to the point of being able to drive straight through a wall with little difficulty.
- Surprisingly Fast: The VRV-3020 can reach a top speed of 225 kph, which is far faster than most people would guess.
- Shock Canceling Suspension: The VRV-3020 has shock canceling suspension, allowing it to fall from a great height with no need to stop driving, as long as it lands on it wheels.
- Six Wheel Drive: The VRV-3020 can operate on many planetary terrains due to having six wheels, which are all powered by the engine.
- Crushing Power: The VRV-3020 may have no weapons, but it really does not need them. It can easily crush most threats beneath its six wheels, or ram them out of the way.

- No Ranged Weapons: The VRV-3020 lacks usefulness as an attack vehicle, due to having no ranged weapons.
- Energy Guzzler: The VRV is not very energy efficient, and needs to be recharged frequently in order to work.
The VRV-3020 was developed by the Glolmark Corporation to function both as a limited consumer product, and a vehicle to help along their ruthless exploitation of colonized planets in the Unknown Regions. They were mostly used to transport resources seized from colonized planets to shuttles, which would in turn take the resources into space to be loaded on to larger starships. They also saw use as troop transporters, carrying G-1 Security Droids to wherever they needed to be.
The VRV-3020’s greatest strength is its durability. Thanks to a unique combination of Ultrachrome and Nyix-alloy, this vehicle’s durability is far beyond that of most ground vehicles. To deal with energy weapons such as laser canons, the outer surface is also covered with a damage reflective outer coating, made of a thin layer of specialized Transparisteel. It even includes a molecular stabilizer, which creates an electrical field that strengthens the bonds of the molecules forming the vehicle itself. Of course, the flip side of that is that the vehicle is also incredibly heavy. It is approximately twice as heavy as a similar sized vehicle made of Durasteel. Even the Transparisteel windows are reenforced with extra Ultrachrome protection, and can survive plowing straight through a solid wall.
When massive slave revolts against the Glolmark Corporation started, VRV-3020s saw usage as troop transports even more than before. They proved to be very difficult to defeat for the revolutionaries, who ended up thinking of a variety of creative solutions to defeating them. The most common of these was by simply hijacking them, which naturally lead to other companies taking advantage of the chaos obtaining several of them and developing several highly convincing knock-off versions.
Even though the VRV-3020s performed well, in the end they could not stop the Glolmark Corporation from loosing control over their colonized planets one by one, and eventually going bankrupt. These days, they can be found belonging to various people and organizations, such as Ybraxos Financial Services, where they are used to transport credits. They are also used by the Pyke Syndicate to transport Coaxium and Spice.
