On the planet Panatha, the woman had had an appointment with Mr. Nelson before, but it was a very long time ago, several months earlier. In fact, the woman almost thought the man had forgotten the whole discussion of coming to see the Eternal Empire when the man finally showed up to come now. A lot has changed since then, that they met there then. War, even more wars, the disappearance of the Emperor, and then it could have been listed for hours.

The coordinates they sent to Mr. Nelson were for the capital's spaceport. At the agreed time, the woman also went there to receive the man. Kveld was also with her, the wolf refused to move next to the woman lately, so it was no surprise that he was here now. As she was now the Regent, she was even escorted by a bodyguard, though they waited farther beyond the hangar and its open-air runway. Her security chief wasn't too happy about that.

She wasn't worried about an attack, and if it did, she would be able to defend herself. Now maybe even better than before. Her abilities have improved quite a bit lately. No, it wasn’t because of Night Spirit, but rather because of Kainan Wolfe and Adrian’s private library and her lover, who was happy to help her learn. In fact, ironically, she learned more from her fiancé about how she can use the Force abilities than from her master. It is true that she has always solved this, so she has developed under the hands of Tacitus. It is true, then not in the field of alchemy, necromancy and sorcery. This required AMCO 's outstanding expertise.

The frosty wind caught her red hair, the snow also started to fall, the air cooled down, the cold front arrived a few minutes ago. She checked the time, there were only minutes left until Mr. Nelson arrived as agreed…

An old and rusty looking ship that had seen better days to put it mildly and needed replaced landed. Out of it stepped Taji Nelson who was clad in the Emerald Sentinel Suit from the neck down. Underneath it, he wore the Owl Suit. He was taking absolutely no chances with running into trouble. Attached on the arms of the Emerald Sentinel were the Wrist Blasters he had recently made. It paid to come prepared was the lesson he had learned from the world of Denon. Never again would he be underequipped when he needed a piece of equipment for himself.

"I'm here," said Taji. His ship chose that moment to fall apart on him. He would not be leaving the planet without purchasing a new ship to replace the one he had been using, that much was certain.

"So, shall we get started on the tour?" asked Taji as he looked around the place. The technology here was certainly.... exceptional. Granted, he needed to improve his own at the Life Star if he didn't scrap that old space station in favor of a new one. His efforts to repair it had been for naught in his eyes.

A ship that was not very modern and not in very good condition arrived. It didn’t really bother her what kind of ship the other was coming in, as there are those who do worse than they could afford not to call the attention of their enemies or pirates to themselves. So she found no objection to this. She recognized Mr. Nelson when he got out of the ship, but she was not prepared for what is coming after this.

The man arrived before the woman as the last uneducated person. No introduction, no greeting, no tribute of any kind. One tends to show more respect for her friends, at least where the woman came from. Ingrid may have been wearing a military jacket without honours, and underneath her uniform did not have any rank insignia, but the woman's stand and radiance showed that she was not just some messenger.

There was no reaction on her face to the man's indecent behaviour. The only thing she did was raise an eyebrow. Anyone who knew the red-haired woman knew that it was already a huge emotional statement on her part. She had almost reached the level of resentment, and who did not know her could not have recognized this reaction's meaning.

”Pardon?!” she asked in a cold voice.

"Sorry," He looked at her for a moment, realizing who she was. "I did not realize you were the leader of the Eternal Empire. Consider this a gift and an apology." He took off the ring on his finger. "This ring has something to do with Pyrokinesis. I'm not sure what, as I've not taken the time to study the particulars of it as of yet, given I've been working in my lab nonstop for a while."

"I'm Taji Nelson, CEO of Nelson Prototyping." He stated. He hoped she would not be all that irate at him because of the misstep he just made of not indulging in proper social interactions. He really needed to spend the time to look up the information on such, and learn it. Of course as he didn't like proper social interactions, preferring to be to the point he supposed it was a moot point on his part. Still, it paid to be polite in situations like this.

He really didn't need the ring anyway in his bag of tricks as he had to learn new techniques of his own. The ring - like the bracers was something he was going to have to rid himself of. After all, he couldn't afford to rely on cheap tricks. He needed to take no short cuts, and actually learn how to do things.

Fortunately, there was no emotion on her face. The man was apparently still not at the height of the situation, and when he pulled the ring off his finger to give it to the woman, Ingrid did not move. She couldn't decide if the man was deliberately trying to hurt her again and again, or accidentally. It seemed pretty sensible before when they met. There was no sign of that now.

”If I can ask you not to hurt me, I can’t be bribed. I don't even want to give the appearance of that.” she said in a cold voice.

Partly this is probably why the woman had been chosen by the Emperor earlier because she could not be corrupted. If the Overlord accepts the gift, it may appear that the man paid her for something. This is exactly why she had been reluctant to accept that sniper at the first meeting. Of course, the man didn't know who he was talking to at the time. Not to mention that she was only the Emperor’s hand at the time, the Overlord was true, but only as a second-in-command and not the leader or the Regent of the Empire.

It also became apparent that the man had no idea of military things, i.e. they would not ease each other’s situation.

”Ingrid L’lerim, the Overlord of the Eternal Empire.” she introduced herself. ”Valeria Ragal informed me earlier that you are wondering about the Empire, what do you want to see first?”
