Major Locations:

Elysium: The first and only city to ever grace the surface of Vesner is the nation of Elysium. This city is the only place anyone ever bothers to visit since the rest of the planet is protected by a treaty since its colonization several thousand years ago. The crime rate on Elysium is carefully kept under the radar to prevent negative reviews on the city. The Vanguard are normally patrolling the streets at all times, making Elysium one of the safest city.

The Watchtower http://www.gamereactor.eu/media/24/destiny_1372414.png- Notably one of the most heavily guarded and yet most popular locations on Elysium. The Watchtower serves as a main presidential type of building that watches over the city. It is here the main council and the watcher reside along with most of its military forces. Mercenaries, and ect are often brought here for missions and sometimes trade items such as weapons and armor.

Gender Roles: There is no discrimination towards either gender. Everyone is free to do what makes them happy without prejudice.

Food: Food is mostly harvested in the farming areas outside the city walls and greenhouses within them. A lot of food is imported from elsewhere given the agreements of the treaty with the Varg and Skog.

Military: The Vanguard of Elysium have some of the most advanced technology, keeping up to date with the latest weapons, ships, and armors as well as designing their own. Those in Elysium have made certain that they are safe from invasion. Most of their elite are force sensitive soldiers who, in case of invasion always reside within the tower while the rest of their forces patrol the city.

Living Conditions: Most of those in the city live in luxurious suites or privately owned homes. Some own private estates or corporate buildings, living in Elysium is seen as the high life style. Where only the rich have a place to stay, mostly populated by billionaires.

Average Life: Those who live in Elysium normally come from other planets seeking to get away from the struggles of the universe. It is an 'escape', therefore most citizens are just guest and thus are kept a close eye on. Those who have chosen to make Elysium their home, are often kept in check. School every day, most joining the Vanguard, and high expectations from the government. This way of life makes crime almost non existent on Elysium.

Religion: N/A (Several mixed religions)

Outside Influence: Elysium has managed to stay out of the conflict of the outside world for a very long time and has continued to survive. It remains neutral in other conflicts, simply choosing to stay out of it for the comfort of its citizens.

Clothing: Clothing has a cyberpunk type of feel to it in Elysium, where every stitch looks like it cost thousands. The Vanguard are often equipped in thick electronic armored suits and advanced weaponry.

Technology: Up to par with the rest of the galaxy, the Elysium Government imports a lot of technology from the outside using its rather large pockets. And since its only one one city on the entire planet, it makes it a bit cheaper to collect weapons and armor to defend themselves with.

History: The planet of Vesner did not always have a city. It all began with The Varg began as a small community of shape shifters who all seemed to have no real goal. However, early in their origins they were exposed to wondrous miracles which to them, were considered sacred. The connection known as 'The Force' is referred to by them as 'The Sight'. It is this miraculous power that served as the basis of their religion and spiritual culture. Early on, the Varg were very primitive and feral, often choosing to stay in their feral forms rather than their humanoid due to lack of clothing and ect. They simply found these forms more comfortable at the time. As years passed, the Varg grew more organized and formed packs. These packs split off across the world of Vesner, and ever since they have dominated most of the planets wilderness.

During the prime of their lives. Other clans of species began to pop up across Vesner, which resulted in bloody conflict. The most notable was the one between the Skogkatt, the cat clans that declared war on them. The Skog, are identical to the Varg in almost every way aside from a few minor differences in culture and social structure. The way between these two raged on for many many years until a Warrior from the Varg named Skoll and his brother Hati, rose up and put an end to the violence. It was here that the Varg recognized Skoll & Hati as guardians, keeping the balance between life forms. While for the Skog it was Revnu and Lera. Resolving their differences peacefully, Hati & Skoll divided the lang among the two species. Giving the Skog the desert and warm Savannahs, and the Varg the cold north and mountain climates. Those who cared not for their differences, often shared territories in tropical rainforest, marshes, and ect.

After the bloody war ended with a peace treaty that to this very day stands strong despite the tension between the two. Afterwards the Varg began to evolve into effective hunters and killers. Quickly becoming the apex predators of the planet, when they began to take on their humanoid forms they began to develop methods of clothing and weaponry. Becoming more of a tribal culture rather than a feral one. Though while many still choose to remain in their natural forms, they became 'moonlocked' and incapable of shifting into other forms. Regardless of this, they kept hold of the bonds formed since their creation. Passing down the story of their people for generations.

Time passed, they grew more and more as they learned how to survive. Eventually, the first space craft landed on the surface of Vesner, resulting in rather unpredictable behavior from the Varg. They remained in the outskirts of their land, watching and observing these alien travelers. As it turned out, these strangers wished to colonize the wild and untamed planet given its beautiful scenery and welcoming climate. These invaders began to take land that did not belong to them, and as a result nearly triggered yet another war. But this time, with the Skog and the Varg on the same side. The colonizers were understanding enough to make a deal with the 'savages' before them. Gathering the current Alpha's of both the Varg and the Skog, they signed an agreement that allowed the strangers to colonize on one part of the planet. Allowing them to build one great city anywhere the Varg and Skog picked. Seeing this deal as generous, the two subspecies decided to do the same. Giving the colonizers one of the most beautiful locations to build their city. And in return, making them agree to leave their wildness untouched.

After this deal went down, the three parted ways and returned to their normal lives. The great city evolved into one of the biggest, a true paradise known as 'Elysuim'. A tourist location for many travelers who dared come there...though it is constantly warned for its citizens to never venture into the outlands. For they may never return. The Varg have managed to keep themselves out of the city and stayed true to their ways for a very long time. They remain elusive and their species have yet to even be cataloged anywhere. They are unknowns, unseen to the untrained eye. Elysium simply evolved, leaving the rest of the planet untouched as the treaty called for.

Up until about 400 years ago, when the virus seemed to sweep through the galaxy, Vesner was not let untouched. The sickness corrupted most life on the planet, effecting the great city of Elysium the most. Resulting in heavy casualties that reduced its overall population drastically. The Natives of the planet however, the Varg and the Skog seemed left untouched by this virus given how powerful their immune systems were. They were able to fight off such a sickness, however. But then came the rapture, which effected the natives of the planet more than Elysium, causing the vanishing of several Varg and Skog clans across the surface.

Notable PCs: Skoll

Intent: To create a homeworld for the Varg as well as other characters who seek to take refuge there.

Oh okay, they are two events that have shaped the history of the board. You can view them in the Holonet section under the timeline section. Basically killer plague that wiped out a ton of life across the galaxy 400 hundred years ago and the Netherworld event was sort of like a rapture where people just up and disappeared

That works fine, so last questions are the following:
  • Are there any other things in the system, such as other planets, asteroids, etc. and this would go in system features
  • Where exactly on the galactic map do you want this planet? and this goes in galactic position

I dont know about the first question. I kind of just figured it would be a planet out in the middle of nowhere. I'm not very use to creating whole planets and such.

As for the second, i guess somewhere on the outskirts. Maybe next to the planet Crystalsong?
