STANDARD FEATURES
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Molecular Furnaces - The Ventis possess two molecular forges, used to process raw materials brought in by Cargo or Mining Ships these are located on the spinal column between the two Corvette Docking Bays. The furnaces convert Ore and Raw Materials into Alloy Powder to be used by Fabricator Units.
  • Ventis Advanced Fabricators - Logistically speaking the construction of Starbases is a complex affair, traditionally materials would be processed offsite meaning hundreds or sometimes thousands of Cargo Haulers are required to maintain a steady supply of material. The Ventis alleviates this by coming equipped with industrial fabricators capable of 3D Printing the most common Starbase materials. This allows Cargo and supply vessels to dedicate more Cargo Space to rarer essential materials speeding up production.
  • Construction Drones - Construction Drones are equipped with Fabricators enabling them to 3D print material directly upon a Starbases skeleton frame. This also makes them excellent for automatons repair and maintenance work should a Starbase suffer significant damage as a result of battle or installer anomalies.
  • X5 Tractor/Repulsor Beams - The Ventis has 8 Tractor and Repulsor Arrays, split equally across ventral and dorsal broadside, and starboard. The X5 is designed specifically for construction efforts, giving architects, and engineers higher degrees of precision assisted by onboard computer systems although it's unable to track small or fast-moving objects effectively.
STRENGTHS
  • Mobile Manufactory - The Ventis can Construct and produce the most commonly used materials providing it has the necessary materials in its cargo holds.
  • Alloy Powder Storage - Due to its Fabricators using primarily Alloy Powders it is capable of storing much greater quantities of raw materials.
  • High Storage Capacity - Much of the ship is dedicated to Cargo storage, being insulated against radioactive materials it's capable of carrying most materials processed or otherwise.
  • Auxiliary Ship - The expansive Cargo spaces and Drones allows the Ventis to play a support role to fleets, supplying them with Hardware and repairing Hull damage. Occasionally, the ship has been used to assist relief efforts by converting the Cargo Space into a field hospital.
  • Standard Template Database - Like most Novean Technology ships equipped with Fabricators, the Ventis has access to Novean's Template Database. This Database contains instructions and blueprints necessary to fabricate the most basic tools and equipment, in the case of the Ventis it also includes instructions to create Hull Parts, Computer Components, Internal Components, Subsystem Components, and Civilian Grade Weapon Components. Owners may add additional components to this database however, such data isn't insured by Novean and bears no legal responsibility for any ramifications.
  • Redundancy Systems - The Ship has two primary redundancy systems, the first is extendable solar arrays which provide enough power to sustain life support systems and a backup Hyperdrive should the primary drive fail.

WEAKNESSES
  • Poor Armament - While the Hull can withstand punishment its lack of dedicated weapon systems makes the Ventis highly vulnerable to attacks, particularly by weapons designed to penetrate hulls.
  • Civilian Ship - Current onboard architecture does not support capital or military-grade hardpoints, while the modification is possible it's often expensive to do so and would require removal of onboard molecular furnaces.
  • Immobile - While deployed a significant amount of power is drawn to the Furnaces and Fabricators, resulting in engines being disabled. Spooling the engines can take up to 3 hours, or 1 hour in the case of emergencies.
  • Support Fleet - This Capital Ship is most effective when deployed with a small support fleet, primarily consisting of Miners or Cargo vessels. Most civilian contractors using this ship will attach two Corvette Mining Ships or a Single Mining Ship and Cargo Hauler.
  • Expensive - It's rare for any single faction to own a significant number of Ventis Class starships, maintenance and material costs are on the upper end for a Civilian Ship of its class primarily due to the technologies used.
DESCRIPTION
Designed by Hawthorne Raschke an Architect of Novean Technologies, the Ventis is a state of the art civilian construction ship, designed to assist and lead efforts in the construction of new space stations the Ventis takes advantage of pre-existing and new manufacturing technologies to support the Rimward Trade Leagues expansion and exploration efforts.

Note that the Ventis' Blueprints may be purchased by Factions other than Rimward Trade League. Interested parties are encouraged to engage with Novean Consultants and Representatives.

We have multiple issues here.

This is not how the permission field works. You use the image provided like the one you have in your second post and link to that.

This needs to be linked.

  • Classification: Civilian / Military Heavy Constructor (Using SD Template)
  • Armament: Very Low
  • Civilian Ship - While it may see use by Military forces the Ventis is primarily a civilian ship, legally it cannot be fielded with Capital Ship weaponry or military-grade shields. Additionally, internal systems may require significant modification to support military subsystems, and such modifications will likely draw the attention of Civil Defence Forces if detected.
  • Intent: To design a Civilian Starship capable of constructing Starbases in the Deep Void and support more localised projects. This particular blueprint is intended for usage by the Rimward Trade League and its subsidiaries. Will feature as part of a future RP for Rimward Trade League / Novean Technologies
Anything classified as civilian cannot have armaments. That includes also hanger bay starfighters, support craft, ect. It means nothing combat capable. All Armaments are to be removed along with combat capabilities not associated with defense such as Missile Deactivator Transmitter or Flak Cannons.

Due to that third issue, this prevents me from going over other issues till this is resolved. Let me know when this is fixed.

Thanks for the review Listib Hibin Listib Hibin please see notes of changes below;

Amendments;
Permissions - Updated to Hyperlinked Image
Affiliation - Updated to include the link (thank you for pointing this out)
Classification - Amended to reflect the original intent and avoid confusion.
Armament - Amended to 'None'

I did not amend the Civilian Ship weakness but have updated the description to clarify intent.

Armaments adjusted slightly although, I will draw your attention to retaining the Point Defence albeit at a smaller scale. If you are seeking a explanation;

Rimward Trade League operates primarily in the Outer Rim Territories, where piracy is too common an occurrence not to equip it with Point Defence.

No changes were made to the hanger bay allotment due to no military or starfighter capabilities listed, although I have taken steps to clarify intent.

If you disagree with any of the above let me know :)

Point Defense Lasers have the word Defense in them. Putting them under Defense is perfectly fine as they barely can do much harm aside from small starfighters, they are made for missiles and other annoying objects like asteroids.

Regardless, I will let the Corvettes go due to just the bare minimum, 50 makes one corvette. Be wise on this and do not abuse it.

APPROVED!
