SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Velox-series Monocycles are really bloody fast. Drivers and passengers alike are strongly advised to wear protective clothing/uniforms and helmets with inbuilt deceleration compensators; while imperfect, a bruised body is preferable to sundered bones and a major concussion.
  • Force emitters analogous to weak tractor beams keep drivers seated even during sharp turns and provide mild cushioning in a crash.
  • Instead of one large repulsorlift engine, Monocyles use a number of 'repulsorjets'; this allows them to turn near-instantaneously.
STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES
  • Adrenaline Junkie: Monocycles are incredibly fast and astonishingly agile; no turn is too sharp and no terrain is too rugged.
  • Exposed Position: The driver is completely exposed atop a monocycle; great for feeling the wind, terrible if being shot at.
DESCRIPTION
A somewhat unusual-looking speederbike, the Velox-series Monocycle is fast, agile, and leaves its driver completely unprotected. While designed with a single driver in mind, bringing passenger(s) along is perfectly doable so long as the people involved don't mind holding onto each other. This is perfect for a joyride with a significant other, but military units should probably splurge on a monocycle per scout.

Riding into battle while hugging a fellow soldier from behind is both awkward and unproductive.
