Valnora Enterprise has long sought to become a leader in the world of manufacturing armaments to be touted among the fiercest warships that traverse the galaxy. And why not? If your name is on something so intimidating, it is likely to bring you more customers. And more customers means more money. And more money means? Well I shouldn’t have to tell you that one.
Though many of the arms related products hitting the line lately for Valnora Enterprise has been focused on the effects of binary operation, it didn’t mean that the engineers and scientists that work so diligently everyday weren’t working on other products to grace you with as well. In fact, this weapon system had been in development for quite some time, but had run into a great number of snags in the testing phase. This inevitably force the brilliant minds of Valnora Enterprise’s Arms division to go back to the drawing board. Whether the drawback was the amount of power and energy it would take to operate the system or simply allowing the systematic programming to effectively allow the weapon system to function, it simply seemed as though there was something new popping up at every turn. But at long last, those brilliant minds had done it.
Presenting the Quad Heavy Turbolaser Battery . . .
The VE-VA004 may seem like your normal turbolaser battery in appearance, only with four barrels instead of one, but that would be far from the truth. Firstly, this system carries a firepower equivalent to the Heavy Turbolaser batteries that adorned Darth Vader’s very own dreadnaught, and that is only per barrel. So if you do a little kindergarten math, you’ll see that because this weapon system has four, it contains four times the “oomph” of a single heavy turbolaser battery. And in the thick of battery that extra firepower might be the difference between life and death. Furthermore, however, this system has a special feature concerning its four barrels. It possesses the ability to be fired in one of two methods: single fire or quad fire. Now what does this mean?
Single Fire: If selected to this mode of fire, the barrels will be sequenced so that no more than a single barrel of the system fires at any given time, alternating through all four instead. This allows for a more constant stream of fire on a target, only with less “oomph” factor than if you had fired all four simultaneously.
Quad Fire: If selected to this mode of fire, all four barrels of this weapon system will fire simultaneously, placing four devastating on course toward a target at the same time. If fired in this manner, there is a time that must be waited so that the charge process can be completed prior to the next volley, as with any other kind of turbolaser.
