- Force-imbued: The armor plating is Force-imbued by Valery, and
Kahlil Noble
has used his ability to integrate runes into objects to add further protection against the Dark Side for whoever wears the armor. - Modularity: The belt is designed to not only be able to clip lightsabers to but various other tools as well. Ranging from grenades to medkits or other weapons.
- Valery's armbands: Once created after the battle on Jedha, these armbands are imbued with the Force and can be worn in this armor to add further shielding against the Dark Side.
- Protective, yet flexible: The armor offers a lot more protection in combat than ordinary clothing or robes, but doesn't hold Valery back as much in terms of flexibility and movement speed. This makes the armor ideal for her preferred style of fighting.
- Force-imbued: The armor doesn't only offer protection against weapons, but also against the Force being turned against her. Through her own imbuement and the runes her husband applied, she's better shielded against the Dark Side in particular.
- Shows skin: While parts of the body are covered in armor plating, the armor set still shows enough exposed skin that can be targeted by enemy attacks.
- Force nullification: In the presence of a Ysalamari or other Force-negating items or creatures, the imbuement and runes will not work.
During a trip to her homeworld Keshi with
Kahlil Noble
and her daughter, Valery learned that her mother was once part of the Faedra, a group of female Keshian warriors who protect their world. While she was never able to learn much about her mother, the warriors offered to make her a set of Keshian armor designed to look like the one her mother once had. This way, she could feel more connected to the woman who had given her up to the Jedi for her own safety.Following the creation of the armor, she tested it in battle alongside her husband when the Faedra allowed their assistance to rescue a group of warriors surrounded by enemy off-worlders. Now, it has become one option in addition to her regular Jedi attire for various assignments in the Galaxy.
From the frontlines to fighting crime in the underworld, Valery stands ready in this new set of armor.
