PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Athletically built Valas possesses orpiment eyes that seem a mixture of yellow and arsenic thanks to either his use of the force or his genetically alteration. He keeps himself well groomed on most occasions. While his features are considered attractive and asymmetrical he has several scars on his left side, burns and a cut that run over his cheek and jawline.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Valas is a stoic believer that Imperial order is the way to peace across the galaxy. He is confident in his abilities to the point of occasional arrogance. He can also be charming and possesses conversation wit and cunning.

His beliefs are also a facade. Valas worships Vahl and is secretly an Ember of Vahl. Unlike others associated with the Vahlan Religion he believes that the First Order is the clearest way to achieving the overarching goals of Vahl, when the time is right all truths will be revealed.

STRENGTHS
Duelist: A consummate duelist Valas knows the different lightsaber styles at a basic level but his skills emphasize Soresu, Djem So and Shii-Cho. He's also skilled with other weapons such as Vibroswords, Daggers, etc. He tends to favor practical and effective maneuvers that optimize efficiency rather than those that could be seen as cinematic or acrobatic.

Tactical Mind: Valas knows tactics on the battlefield and off and always strategizes to outmaneuver his opponents. He's apt at seeing plans within plans and has the ability to read others during social interaction. He has some degree of empathy which allows him to sympathize with the plight of others even if it is a tactic he employs.

Wholeness of Body: Due to genetic modification Valas is resistant to disease and ages more slowly than others, the cells in his body rejuvenating even against the assault of time. He appears to be in his 30's but may actually be much older.

WEAKNESSES
Overconfidence: Valas is powerful but this also leads to overconfidence. He does not always recognize when he is outmatched and this can inevitably lead to failures that he has not anticipated or contigencies he has not planned for.

Intolerance: Valas suffers from a racial intolerance for alien species that are not at least Near Human. While this is an admirable quality in line with imperial doctrine it is a bigoted and ignorant trait in the wider galaxy.
