[ - ] Racism: The creature has been genetically engineered to reject non-Yuuzhan Vong riders and in rare cases, even attack them.

Culture: None.

Technology level: None.

General behavior: The Vaghrokka beetle is a creature of solace, usually not trained for combat. However, they make for perfect steeds by the Yuuzhan Vong, and if adapted enough to the perils of combat, can be trained. Wild Vaghrokka tend to roam the swamps, forests and open plains of Yuuzhan'tar, scavenging for whatever food they can find. Because of their innate ability to consume anything and their biological strength at processing anything in their stomachs, the Vaghrokka usually do not go hungry. However, due to this complacency, Yuuzhan Vong soldiers tend to starve their Vaghrokkas prior to battle so they become extra hungry and willing to devour enemies on the battlefield with their huge mandibles.

The Vaghrokka are terrible at mating and general tend towards fighting among themselves for mating partners. Female Vaghrokka just tend to sit around waiting for a mate who never comes, because males will fight each other until both are dead or both have forgotten fighting for.

History: The Vaghrokka are very distant relatives of the Vonduun Crabs and their armor would be highly sought after if they were better at reproducing. However, the Yuuzhan Vong found they fit better as warsteeds due to their innate armor and their lack of reproductive qualities, whereas Vonduun Crabs were a dime a dozen. Most Vaghrokka were relocated to Zonama Sekot after the war, but several more populations were moved to New Yuuzhan'tar upon it's creation from before the four hundred year darkness, where they slowing increased in population count and took to the environment of Yuuzhan'tar like fire to kindling.

Notable Player-Characters: None.

Intent: Created to be my character's mount but can be used for other characters or the Yuuzhan Vong species as a hold for whatever purpose.

Stark raving silly
I think we're good here. Have fun riding the mighty war-beetle into bloody, horrific combat. Approved pending secondary review, since you answered my main question already.
