Lightweight modular armor is based on the earlier Vagabond Armor Kit, though this unique model offers several additional benefits and protection levels for its custom use by Visanj T’shkali. Designed to be worn with the Vagabond Exoskeleton & Survival Suit, Vagabond Helmet, and Occultation and Revelation Gauntlets only, this armor is truly a one-of-a-kind.
Using a special fiber optic active camouflage system which, once engaged by the wearer, the various armor components can alter light, refracting it around the wearer, causing them to blend into their surroundings. This, in addition to abilities gained from the Occultation Gauntlet, provide a seriously potent stealth suite. Additionally, the armor provides an incredible protection against a wide range of potential damage, covering the body’s vital points and offering defense from a variety of attack vectors.
It does however have some serious flaws. An EMP/Ion attack taken directly will interrupt or disable the fiber-optic active camouflage, leaving the wearer vulnerable to visual detection. Multiple powerful, direct and precision attacks will rapidly degrade the armor’s effectiveness, ultimately leaving the wearer exposed to damage. Further, it gives no defense against pressure or Force abilities, leaving the armor much less effective in space or when pitted against a Force-user. The whole of the armor therefore not being truly ideal for extended immersion in conventional combat, but rather it is a lightweight stealth armor which provides a significant, though not inexhaustible level of protection.
