- Removable miniaturized “Black Box” slicer droid is kept fitted into its slot onboard the gauntlet by the same magnetics which enable it to be attached to metallic surfaces of computer systems, doors, etc.

- Onboard miniaturized datapad lends considerable computing strength and massive data storage capabilities, to allow for mapping and navigation, identification (based upon scanning results), and more. Using miniaturized computer interface technology, similar to that used with astromech droids, the gauntlet is able to use brute-force attacks to easily slice into most computers and systems with ease, however extensive or highly-sophisticated anti-slicing measures can slow or even prevent effective slicing. Usually, such measures are found only on the most advanced systems.
- Miniaturized hyperwave communicator offers near-infinite range, while advanced encryption and a HoloNet connection enable for various means of securely transmitting messages, information, or control commands. A host of slicing and anti-slicing software is used onboard to enable the gauntlet’s security even while defeating others.

- Each droid is autonomous, which means that information mined or otherwise gained by one droid is communicated to the datapad or a remote destination separate from the rest, so if it is destroyed, it loses its ability to contribute to overall data gain.
- As offensive / defensive weapons, the Xayinas-class droids have limited ammunition and caliber, meaning their attacks are generally weak and limited, and will not affect heavily armored opponents, vehicles, or starships.
- Holographic interface of the gauntlet or its holographic display are not stealthy, and if used at the wrong time open the user to detection and potential retribution by hostile forces or systems.
Like its counterpart, the Occultation Gauntlet, the Revelation Gauntlet was a next-generation gauntlet containing several systems brought together into a single piece of equipment which could be worn on the forearm over bodygloves, thin clothing, and/or beneath the sleeves of jackets and coats. First and foremost, it was a forearm-mounted datapad, equipped with powerful memory and rapid processing capabilities, and comes pre-programmed with a host of data mining, data logging, face matching, and slicing / anti-encryption programs.
At its heart, the Revelation Gauntlet is a slicing, scanning, and detection/identification juggernaut, meant to provide precise, accurate, and felicitous real-time information to the user, and to access whatever secrets lay hidden encoded in targeted systems and computers, to defeat enemy security and countermeasures handily, and to enable slicer droids to expand and enhance coordinated attacks or attack multiple targets simultaneously, or else to offer networked information sharing or combat applications.
With the Revelation Gauntlet, practically nothing hidden or concealed is secure from discovery…with this single gauntlet, slicing even the most sensitive and advanced system is not impossible. Nor is it impossible to take a read on the entire battlefield surrounding you with a single outstretched open hand. A powerful scanner, sensor, and slicing device, this wrist-mounted datapad and encrypted comlink can display holographic images and information via its miniaturized Holo-Projector, slice into the most complex systems and protected computers, even take remote control over vehicles, ships, and droids. The Revelation Glove is a resilient and powerful tool which enables extraordinary slicing and scanning abilities. Four (4) Xayinas-class droids deploy from the unit to engage targets either individually or collectively depending on required needs, which apply to both slicing and the use of their small onboard weapons. Four Xayinas-class Slicer Droids can be deployed from the gauntlet, each of which can attack a single target or else coordinate their attacks via the Hydra Networking System to attack a single target via multiple vectors. Also the miniaturized "Black Box" can be removed and attached to a separate computer or system, however to do so greatly lowers the slicing power of the Hubris REED and gauntlet datapad to remotely hack a target.
