Strengths:

DESCRIPTION: The Utai Crystallizer is, at its core, a pressure vessel designed to withstand the high temperatures and pressures required to produce synthetic lightsaber crystals. Since the Crystallizer feeds off the user's Force-energy, a person wishing to use the Utai Crystallizer must be a Force-user and also the user must enter a meditative state to even get the Crystallizer to start. In addition, absolute concentration is required from the user in order to maintain the contents under tightly-controlled pressure and temperature conditions until the crystallization process is complete if used for that purpose. Two basic sets of controls are in use by the user of the Utai Crystallizer to enable the user to control the pressure and temperature so that users could fine-tune the conditions inside the pressure vessel until their project is complete, with the reagents inserted into the pressure vessel prior to the crystallizer being started.

Because of the alchemical treatments applied on the quadranium pressure vessel, the stove is also rendered lightsaber-resistant. However, as with all items alchemical, the Utai Crystallizer will lose nearly all its alchemical properties (other than lightsaber resistance) when exposed to Force-nullifiers.
