ddmsrealm-star-wars-hutta-nem-ro-palace.jpg
The streets of Jiguuna were covered in the swampy haze of Nal Hutta's bogs, the tall structure of the ancient Hutt palace loomed near the center of the industrial town. Little had changed from the different clans that had claimed the area as part of their dominion over the centuries. The area's major starport was a short walk from the palace, and across from it was a less exclusive cantina. Within the palace itself was a crowd that had come to see which ne'er-do-well would step forward to ask assistance from the cartels. Mostly they came for credits or for endorsements. Though anything could be technically discussed with sufficient bravery or arrogance.

For now, A'ti, was the only representative of the Consortium or Hutt physically present. She administrated much of the mundane affairs of the area on a regular basis along with interstellar tasks, she was a direct line to the upper echelon's of the Hutt Space Consortium's leadership, and a recognizable pillar of the 'community' of Jiguuna. A'ti was known for her enjoyment of Huttball and gambling, and her employment of both even in dealings with petitioners of varying caliber.

The Twi'lek majordomo sat on the edge of a Hutt throne, more a glorified stone slab, with her hands folded on top of one another in her lap. To her left and right were two Gamorrean bodyguards that leaned against the hafts of their vibro-axes. From the crowd that had gathered none had yet stepped forward to make the first petition or request. Perhaps it'd be another dull night in Jiguuna... or perhaps not?

A thread open to any and all, especially those looking for something from the Hutt Space Consortium or perhaps with a particular Crime Lord or Hutt. A perfect way to jumpstart a new character, get your name out there as a blaster-for-hire, maybe further an ongoing progression, or just to see what this criminal stuff is all about! Cantina games and drinks available at the counter.

A woman would walk forward, helmet in her hand and excitement in her eyes. The helmet seems mandalorian in design, same goes for her armor, but there's no evidence of scarring or any sort of damage so it has to be either brand new or stolen. She seemingly only has a small dinky blaster pistol on her waist. The human woman would say, "I would like to get a contract or some sort of job. Anything to make some credits and to make a name for myself!"

She seemed way too eager to get something done, clearly a newby to the underworld of the galaxy but that won't stop her from making a killing.

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
Laphisto was out on business, he had heard a rumor that the Hutt consortium had knowledge if not access to old republic weapon caches, black boxes or even weapons and materials. all things he needed for Aurora Station, and the members of the fledgling Faction of The Lilaste Order. the station was fixed by now, but even then the threat of Ubbal Dusat sat heavily in the air and he needed manpower and materials to finish the repairs, he was desperate for resources. the rim world trade league refused his calls and he was stuck behind a bureaucratic nightmare of paperwork, it would most likely be months if not years before he got the trade route established and by then it would be to late. and so he had come here, the Hutt space filled with smugglers pirates, and other less than satisfying company. with a small smear he would grumble to himself waiting patiently behind the Mandalorian before him he recognized the armor even after five thousand years he would recognize a Mandalorian anywhere, the way they spoke walked, and held themselves was recognizable from a mile away.

the draconic man would stand at seven food eight wearing a set of besar'gam, simply decorated bearing his family crest in the center and a secondary crest of clan ordo on the left shoulder, at one side of his hip stood his broadsaber with a satchel on the other

A'ti watched the Mandalorian woman come forward and eagerly express her willingness to do anything for credits and reputation. A bold and hastily made offer to be certain, especially with present company. The Twi'lek put a hand up in a stately manner to gesture for the would-be bounty hunter to give A'ti a moment of silence as laughter and whispers that followed the woman's limitless offer. Once she had it the majordomo put her hand back in her lap and asked in a clear tone "Your eagerness to serve the Cartel is most inspiring, a trait that should be common here on wonderful Nal Hutta. I see that you have armor and..." A'ti noticed the diminutive blaster, her expression was slightly dismissive at the sight of the weapon "Arms." the majordomo motioned for the woman to speak "What is your name, bounty hunter?"

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
Laphisto would remain on the sidelines waiting patiently, before giving a small grumbled growl and walking to the nearest bar counter, his lightsaber clicking and smacking against his leg, Koma, not truly hidden like most Jedi would try to do, then again his appearance didn't exactly scream Jedi either the armor he wore and the way he carried himself spoke more inclined to that of an old war veteran than a Jedi of the order, upon reaching the bar and sitting down he would lean forwards with a grumble, hands clasping together as he thought for a moment " make me something strong if you would be so kind?" if he was to have to wait then he would at least entertain himself one way or another

Ata would notice the change in the twi'lek's attitude and put the helmet on. She would speak out, "The name is Ata Jairt and I want to make a name for myself in one way or another. We all have to start somewhere, don't we? Sure I may not have a real intimidating weapon as of the moment but with enough experience and of course credits, I could get somethin' better and help out more here."

A'ti motioned to Ata Jairt in a cordial manner "Very true Ata Jairt. I believe that I have just the task for you as well." A'ti lifted her hands and made two claps as a Gammorean waddled over and offered the would-be bounty hunter a datapad "Coordinates of a shipment of Aurodium that was reported by local sources. There are two Rodian guides that I have already sent ahead. Their contact information is also in that datapad. You are two assist any crews, gangs, bounty hunters, and so on that wish to bring back the ship and its contents to Nal Hutta. You will be appropriately rewarded for your services - should you return alive." A'ti gave the mandalorian a look over once more "You should leave quickly, provided that you have a starship? You'd not want to be the last to the party." ((Public Thread: Black Ice))

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
Laphisto would perk his ear lightly a small frown is the eaves dropped on the conversation at hand. He was no stranger to piracy and considering his current residents, he knew such shady deals were to be had but they were of no mind to him he came here for one thing and one thing alone, to try and establish some sort of trade route if not at the very least a shipment of supplies that he would use for the Lilaste order

After a few moments the Majordomo made a dismissive motion towards Ata Jairt "You are dismissed, Ata Jairt. The Consortium will await report of your progress." A'ti looked over the crowd several times "Let the next petition be heard. Step forward and state your business." while the Twi'lek awaited the next visit the cantina of the interior palace was alive with the sounds of credit ingots being dashed onto tables during lively gambling games of all forms. Aside from that there were many whispers and errant noises from the crowd.

A'ti was approached by a droid which served her a drink in an ornate glass. No doubt some form of rare drink found well outside of Hutt Space. She did not drink it and instead held onto it letting the liquid idly swirl around in the transparent vessel "<100 credits she does not return with anything.>" a figure off to the side of one of the bodyguards whispered to A'ti in Huttese. She looked over towards thee man with a peaked interest "<100? Hardly worth the time. 1,000.>" after a brief pause the figure nodded and walked off. A'ti was a prolific gambler and she had bets going from weather to the survival of gunslingers. More than likely this was some form of bookie that worked with the consortium and was trying to get another pool set up.

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
Figuring now was his chance to seal his offer Laphisto would stand up taking several large strides twords the girl, he had been waiting patiently for the mandalorian and didn't want his spot in line to be taken by another nearby. As he drew closer he would listen to the girl. He didn't speak hutt and so had no real idea of what was said, nor did was he paying enough attention to use the force to help him understand.

One Infront of the girl he would stand seven foot eight, his wings rustling lightly upon his back, his tail swaying and flicking idly behind him.

", Iv come in need of resources, either to establish a trade route. Or to purchase them straight from you. Wither you have what I need in stock or need to aquire it through other means is of no concern to me"

A'ti watched the tall, winged, man approach the center of the empty space before the throne. Her initial thoughts were over his immense size. The petitioner towered over the Gamorreans she had as protection if they were to stand side by side. A'ti lifted the glass to her lips and took a slow, pensive, drink from it. When she lowered the glass she spoke to him in Galactic Common "Resources and no care of where they are sourced? An interesting start. Do continue. What are you looking for exactly? I imagine it is no small amount or expense if you are so willing to set up trade routes and the like." A'ti motioned towards the man with her free hand "If it is Spice or stims you're looking for the Consortium is in no short supply."

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
laphisto would shake his head getly half chuckling towards the girls words of spice and stims, for as long as he could remember such things had no effect on hi due to his body aggressive blood filtering such things out faster tan it could affect him. shaking his head lightly to keep himself on track he would clear his throat before looking behind him and speaking " Khaar, Drooma bring the case forwards"

as he spoke two humanoids wearing a set of LO-56A would walk forwards carrying a small crate with them, setting it in front of laphisto with one of the humanoids kneeling down and opening the box, spinning it towards the girl to expose three ingots of metal, a bar of Dral kayatr , Fyrirdögun and Seigurium stepping forwards laphisto would grab the bar of Dral kayatr rolling it over in his hand before offering it towards her " we - how should I say.. Liberated these from some pirates a short time ago, and have begun manufacturing out of it, but we do not have a steady supply to fit out needs of production and that's where this deal comes into play, i have a unique relic id be willing to sell to cover payment, for Manka class walkers salvaged from an old imperial storage facility hidden on serocco, mint condition never been used sure to fetch a good price to the right buyer"

A'ti waited patiently for the man's cohort to bring forward the box. When Laphisto opened it and revealed its contents to be some form of metal ingots the Twi'lek was silent. She had no idea what these metals were or their worth. One of the Gamorreans took the offered object from the petitioner and handed it to A'ti who inspected it shrewdly as Laphisto explained what he was looking for and what he was willing to give for it "Mmm." A'ti hummed pensively as she weighed the logistical cost and the specialist expenses that would be needed for acquiring the ores "You'll have to forgive me, I do not know what these metals are. I am no prospector." she looked from the ingot to the man "What ores are these made from? Where are they sourced? The Consortium can of course put together multiple mining crews and incentivize trade in the finished products if production cannot suffice. Though even for more basic mining opertions the droids, miners, vehicles, and security are no small expense. Even rare warmachines will not cover all of these costs. Which will incur their own cost for storage and sale." A'ti paused for a moment the motioned conversationally to the man "And while you answer these questions perhaps you could give us your name and affiliation?"

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
he would frown lightly gripping his chin in thought for a moment lulling over her words as he tried to think his ear perking lightly before looking back up to her with a soft nod " My apologies, i am Laphisto Divatori Gix of the Lilaste order if labeling is to be believed the greyish one is called Dral kayatr, its made from Songsteel | Beskar | and Laminanium, the Silver one is called Fyrirdögun and from what our R&D team can speculate its an ore found in some place called the Netherworld and the final and the most bulkier of the metals is called Seigurium, from what our team can identify its compromised of Laminanium | Laminasteel | Impervium, and Ultrachrome, we have facilities available to smelt and construct these metals into there processed forms but we do lack the resources to make them." he would frown knowing very well that this would be a heavily costly deal on his end, trying to figure out a way to try and pay for, he would continue to think for a moment trying to find some way to pay for this endevor.

"we also have six Lance Walkers, at least three squadrons of mint condition Liberator Class Starfighter Prototypes from the Mandalorian wars, from our accounts they have just about never been flown save for once or twice"

he would be grasping at straws though he had one last offer up his sleeve he would await the girls decision before extending that offer

A'ti expression became furrowed as she thought over the logistics of obtaining a lot of these rare minerals. Not only were some of these metal ores extremely rare they were also highly precious in monetary value leading to a raft of issues such as selling at a market profit as well as defending such potential treasures against rival organizations.

The Twi'lek put her glass down and put her hand over her face as she thought through the proposal and the payment "Laphisto, what are you planning on making with these metals? I assume you're so willing to trade vast military equipment stores not for just a few bars but enough for... what exactly? Perhaps more mundane materials could suffice? Durasteel could be refined or salvage easily enough and they'd cost you far less than the fortune you're steadily working towards." A'ti put her hand down from her face and motioned towards the onlookers "You'd find no shortage of shipbreakers, miners, and pirates to collect these traditional materials. I have no idea how we would even forge an expedition to the Netherworld or even if such a place exists, the nearest realm I could imagine is Oblivion - which even then is no small feat to arrange expeditions to."

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
he would give a soft frown reaching into his satchel and pulling out a small holo pad clicking on one of the buttons and clicking it to life showing a hologram image of a walker " we need the resources for machines of war, starships, and starfighters, one of our designs is the AT-AE, it's taken some inspiration from a walker from the clone wars, with heavier armor and weapons. We have also begun manufacturing around five of these walkers already but now meet our problem, the scarcity of these materials. and my reason for arriving here. I am more than willing to ... part with a company or two of walkers if not shipments of weapons," his ear would pin back upon his head as he spoke the thought of his orders weapons and vehicles was a bit concerning but if it was necessary then he would permit the selling of these tools to the hutts

A'ti considered the information and the revelation carefully. She did not know much about this "Order' other than it had plans to make war. But with who? She couldn't quite demand that information and overplay her hand. A'ti looked from the hologram to Laphisto while leaning back and motioning towards the man "We'll put together mining expeditions and shipbreaker crews for your metals but in exchange for this monumental endeavor the Consortium will expect the starfighters and walkers offered previously to be delivered to Nal Hutta in advance as primary payment. Additionally your order will pay to the Consortium 45% of the operational costs per cycle to be payable at the end of 30 solar cycles while the expeditions and crews are at work. After which time the Consortium will require the agreed upon advanced walkers." A'ti paused to let the man take in the terms "And your Order will continue to pay the Bareesh Kadijic 5% of the sum total expenses every thirty cycle period until the remaining 55% of the operational costs are recuperated with an additional 10% interest tribute to the Magnanimous Gorba Bareesh for his generosity."

The deal was expensive, no less than a fortune, though A'ti had warned Laphisto that it would be so. The benefit was that Laphisto's organization wouldn't need to pay credits up front and would instead gradually pay off their debt to the Consortium. Of course the deal was in the favor of the Twi'lek and her superiors.

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
laphisto would frown lulling over the deal in his mind, but it was a necessary action, if the Lilaste order were to survive and in turn thrive in the hostile environment they found themself in against Ubbal Dusat giving the twi'lek a soft frown before eventually signing and nodding towards her" alright, you drive a hard bargain for sure but it is a necessary ordeal. we will have the company of our AT-AE walkers shipped here along with the Liberator Starfighters, the Lancer walkers, and the manka walkers" laphisto would push the hologram projector back into his satchel before crossing his arms over his chest. the fate of his order relied upon these materials, considering their location they would need every advantage in order to survive their ongoing conflict

laphisto himself was a military man, not exactly used to the political doctrines and expectations let alone much for haggling and trying to sway deals more so in his favor, with a good portion of Kirima within the control of the faction he was sure he could at least sell whatever produced goods the few villages and cities made to at least help pay for this endeavor, if not the power and strength of the walkers and weapons they would be producing would surely cover the cost surely worth double if not triple the value of the source they are made from.

A'ti smirked and clapped her hands twice in a formal manner. Two servers came to Laphisto and his men's side with refreshments "Enjoy your stay on Nal Hutta. You are a guest of the Bareesh Kadijic, the amenities of Jiguuna are yours to indulge in." with that the majordomo stood which caused the bodyguards to become more attentive as the crowd of onlookers paused their whispers "<This man and his crew are honored guests of his opulence Gorba Bareesh, an act him is an act against the Bareesh.>" A'ti walked forward with slow purpose as she descended a few steps as the Gamorreans followed in her wake, the scum and villainy of Jiguuna parted before her. None dared act against the majordomo in the heart of the Consortium.

The cantina roared to life when A'ti finally made her exit. The lights dimmed and music began to blare from a live Human band. Vials of Spice began to change hands and a variety of gambling implements could be heard slamming against surfaces or cards begin shuffled. In the chaos of the hedonism there was still an uneasy air about the cantina as if someone could be sentenced to the Rancor pits at any moment.

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
With the twi'lieks departure laphisto would cross his arms over his chest gripping his chin in thought before looking over to the two soldiers he has brought with him

" Prep the ship and get a hold of Aurora station, have the ships prepped to haul the starfighters and walkers here for delivery. Let us hope Owen is having just as much luck as we did "

With a gentle nod he would turn to leave the cantina unwilling to truly relax himself, mind racing over what he needed to do next
