Special Features

Strengths
  • Walking Tank - Sheer size, heavy armor plating, and multiple weapons lend to the appearance that the U-XIII is a walking tank - and its combat capabilities backup the validity of this claim. They are large hulking constructs that serve on the front-lines alongside the Hellknight Corps, providing heavy fire support often provided by vehicles or walkers of a similar size.
  • Upgrade Modules - The U-XIII contains a number of enhanced combat modules that provide additional information and tactical knowledge to ensure that it can approach a situation and overcome a problem it has encountered. These modules allow it to serve as a more combat effective machine - however, they still lack in terms of creative thinking that organic beings possess when overcoming a situation.
  • Gyroscopic Stabilizer - A series of gyroscopes, hydraulics, and high-speed processors that increase the stability of droids. The system ensures that the otherwise top-heavy section of the U-XIII remains upright relative to its lower section.
  • Droid Omniscience Unit - An advanced sensor array module that provides the droid with a greater awareness of activity in its immediate surroundings.
  • Droid Motion Tracker - This sensor upgrade increases a droid's perception of combat as it is happening around the unit, allowing for better tracking of moving targets.
  • Heuristic Processor - An advanced processor that is considered a step-up from the basic droid processor, that allows a droid to learn by doing rather than acting by knowing and without instruction. This enables the droid to reason through several potential solutions to a problem that it has encountered while performing a task - formulating the best approach and enacting upon its solution.

Weaknesses
  • Walking Tank - The sheer size and heavy weight are just as much a problem solver as they are a producer of problems. First and foremost, it is nearly impossible to miss hitting these droids. Likewise, as often experienced in the heavy armor worn by members of the Hellknight Corps - the U-XIII weight and size make it poor for deployments on geographical features such as sand, bogs, muddy terrain, and similar features that would otherwise render the unit inoperable, immobile, or causing it to sink into the terrain altogether.
  • Munition Dependency - With a limited number of rounds - or fuel - carried to supply its weapons, the U-XIII is highly dependent on a continued source of munitions to maintain peek operational efficiency on the field of battle.
  • Exposed Munitions Belt-Feed - The belt-feed system for its primary weapons are exposed and easily targeted. Damage to this system would render the unit's primary Autocannons inoperable or otherwise potentially cause additional damage depending on the types of rounds currently loaded into the droid.
  • Ion / EMP - The U-XIII lacks Ion or EMP shielding in a sufficient quantity to prevent damage or destruction by such attacks. Though potentially capable of shrugging off low-yield Ion blasts, it is otherwise incapable of handing medium-yield or high-yield bursts; and lacks any kind of EMP shielding entirely.
  • Blind Spot - Due in part to its large size and slow ambulatory movement, the droid has a glaring blind spot directly behind the unit - between the large munition canisters - providing an ample area for an enemy to strike if they managed to get behind the unit. In this position, an enemy could cause damage to its primary weapons, systems, or other features that would otherwise render the unit inoperable, or outright destroy the unit.
  • Circuitry Cooling Cable - Though small in appearance - sitting on either side of the droid's head - are two openings where the primary Circuitry Cooling Cable for the droid appear to extend out of the armor. If these cables were struck - either damaged or destroyed - it would have a catastrophic result for the unit, with internal temperatures potentially damaging or destroying delicate and fragile components within the unit.

Description
The U-XIII 'Deredeo' Battle Droid - often referred to as Deredeo Battle Droids - are the most widely used combat automata deployed by the Hellknight Corps to support their organic forces. Armed with a set of twin-linked M58 Kinetic Autocannons and Guided Missiles, they serve as a mobile heavy arms platform - with their primary focus serving as an Anti-Vehicle / Anti-Aircraft weapons platform - while a set of Kinetic Rifles or Flame Projectors provide additional Anti-Infantry support to protect the unit. Their sheer size and weight make for a stunning appearance, however that same weight and size cause a problem - as such it is highly discouraged to deploy them on planets with geographical features such as sand, mud, bogs, or similar terrain that would otherwise render the unit inoperable, or seeing them sink into the terrain itself. An advanced Heuristic Processor provides the units the capability of learning through doing rather than acting through knowing - and this is often seen in how their personalities develop during their activation and life-service. Additional combat modules provide upgraded capabilities to allow the units to serve at peek efficiency on the field of battle.

They are best deployed in mixed units - as their size has created a noticeable blind spot to the rear of the unit. In this position, an enemy is more than capable of causing damage to its primary weapons and potentially internal components that would render the droid inoperable or destroy it outright. Its dependency on munitions - rather than having more common energy based weaponry - has proven a problem, as periodically they must return to a depot for resupply. Likewise, though capable of sustaining fire from low-yield ion weaponry, medium-yield and higher-yield bursts are more prone to damaging the unit - and they lack any kind of substantial shielding to allow it to withstand the effects of an EMP strike.

Though many would consider it an obsolete model primarily due to its dated weaponry and its number of problems, the Hellknight Corps sees a valuable Battle Droid - having weight its pros and cons and found it to be more suited to their needs than other similar units. The U-XIII 'Deredeo' Battle Droid is often seen standing side by side with the Hellknights, providing a withering cannonade of fire to soften up an enemy before charging in with their organic counterparts.

This droid is an almost exact rip-off of the Deredeo Pattern Dreadnought from Warhammer 40k, the only thing you've done is taken it from a cybernetic war machine to a droid based war machine.

The name is a straight copy from the original Warhammer dreadnought, Deredeo Pattern Dreadnought goes to a U-XXI 'Deredeo' Battle Droid. This, combined with the use of the picture would be bad enough but then you chose to copy the weapons loadout of the original dreadnought almost exactly.

According to the Warhammer 40k wiki
The standard loadout for the Deredeo consisted of a set of twin-linked Anvilus Pattern Autocannons, known as an Anvilus Autocannon Battery, and a set of carapace-mounted twin-linked Heavy Bolters. The Heavy Bolters could be replaced with a set of twin-linked Heavy Flamers and an Aiolos Missile Launcher could be mounted atop its carapace.

You, on the other hand, have the armament listed below.
(2) Twin-Linked M58 Kinetic Autocannons
(20) Guided Missiles
(2) Twin-Linked M58-A Kinetic Rifles
or
(2) Twin-Linked M58 Flame Projectors

Although you have subbed the weapons yourself, they are exact matches for the 40k loadout.

Furthermore, although you not only drew inspiration from the Dreadnought, you failed to link it as a primary source. However, the Factory rules directly state that
Plagiarism will not be tolerated. Small excerpts may be included from other sources in a sub, but they must include a credit, link, and be clearly marked.

This submission is nothing short of a copy of the original source material with the barest of changes made to accommodate the Star Wars universe. It is for that reason I am going to deny this submission. Please DO NOT copy any other universes IP in this way again.
