- Hunter-Killer Programming: This droid has been pre-programmed with advanced directives that allows it to methodically search and destroy all enemy lifeforms in an area. This includes systematic use of it's weaponry, bait & switch maneuvers, and enviormental usage for the highest rate of enemy casulties. The droid's brain also helps it discern friend from foe in short order to prevent allied/civilian casulties. Using bio/enviornmental scanners in tandem with an advanced targeting computer the droid can best calculate how to use it's many gun systems todetroy all enemies in it's path.
- Planetary Deployment: Extremely massive droids, they are deployed onto planets from larger ships. Usually transported by extremely large ships via starship clamps or large hangar bays, they are outfitted with thrusters that can get help them safely breach a planet's atmosphere deploy into the world.
- Superior Firepower: This droid has a small arsenal at it's disposal, allowing it tomaintain multiple fields of fire while still hosting a devastating array of firepower. It's main turbolaser cannons are powered via Isotope-5 giving them double the power of a standard heavy turbolaser. Along with it's standard firepower, the droid also hosts the capability to deploy Chemical, Biological, Radial, Nuclear, and Viral Weaponry. This droid is capable of bringing destruction with it wherever it may travel.
- Reinforced Armor: The Durasteel plating employed keeps this droid safe from blaster fire and slug rounds alike. Although it is not as effective as multiple layers of shielding or a higher grade of metal it will still take significant effort to pierce this droid's outer shell.
- Devastating: Even without it's primary weaponry this massive droid can level buildings. Due to it's reinforced armor and massive size it is caapble of crushing, slamming, and destroying anything that is unprepared against it's assault.
- Non-Organic: As this droid is not organic it cannot be hindered by the things that would generally slow down an organic soldier such as atmosphere, viruses, line of sight, and has little to no needs making it perfect for prolonged warfare.
- Shielded Core: The Isotope-5 reactor is shielded in a thick layer of Phrik blastwalls. These barriers are designed to keep the core safe from external harm or assault. Along with that is a complicated deactivation process and cooling system so that in the event the core would become compromised it can be effectively shut down before a catastrophic meltdown occurs.
- Slow: While this droid has considerable destructive capability it is a remarkably slow beast. It could take it a considerable amount of time to travel even short distances, making it almost impossible to maneuver for tactical advancement. This also requires that the droid's deployment zone be it's intended combat area, as it will take time for it to be redeployed to another area.
- Unshielded: While the droid has good defensive capability it is still without any form of shield, which means it's ability to tolerate sustained damage is limited. Every hit towards this droid means something in the grand scheme of bringing it down.
- Weak Joints: The Joints to this wardroid are it's greatest weakness. While it has a sturdy titanium frame, it is not designed to withstand sustained assault on it for long. Destroying more than two of it's four leg joints this droid can be effectively grounded in place until it is able to undergo repairs.
- ION Weakness: As with almost all droids, the TX-1 has little to no defense against ION/EMP weaponry. However, due to the massive size of it's systems it will take a rather large ION blast to disable any of the droid's primary functions such as weaponry, mobility, or scanners.
The TX-1 is a powerful war droid created to do only one thing, end lives. When the Eternal Empire first sought to manufacture a droid of unequaled destructive force, they sought out the consultation of Dynetech Industries. It took months for the two to come to an agreement on what exactly should be created, in the end they settled on the TX series. A new droid series designed to lower the population of a given area. In short, a wardroid that could shatter enemy numbers. It is considered a Heavy Anti-Personnel droid due to the weaponry and programming assigned to it, however it is also capable of standing up to large vehicles and heavy armor as well.
The TX-1 draws it's incredible power supply from an Isotope-5 reactor deep in the core of the beast. This reactor feeds the outragous power demands that the droid has. The droid is essentially a walking arsenal of weapons that allow it to engage entire fighting forces single handedly. Although it is without a primary deflector shield, it's armored body gives it some degree of defense against enemy attacks. As most droids, this one is susceptible to ION/EMP based attacks, however they must be considerably large to truly damage any of the droid's primary functions. While the droid is strong and massive, it is also slow and weak at it's less defended joints. This makes the droid the target of several avenues of attack, including ambushing it in an attempt to leave it disabled.
Even if the droid is somehow disabled it's droid brain will attempt to do all it can to remain functioning, so that the mechanical secrets locked within will remain secured.
