STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES :

{+} Intellectual: His entire life, Asher has been regarded as the genius of his family. He has considerable intelligence and a far above average IQ. Paired with his photographic memory it makes for a rather keen intellect. Though he does not often shy from a chance to display his superior intelligence, it cannot be disputed that he is gifted.

{+} Kind Hearted: Even as a weapons manufacturer, Asher has little hate in his heart or disdain for life. He merely loves to stretch the limits of his imagination in a destructive capacity. Outside of his work, he enjoys to see others happy and is not quick to wrong someone, even if they have wronged him.

{+} Even Tempered: It would take some work to get him to break his composure. As he likes to look at most situations from multiple angles there are not many things that can set him off.

{-} Hermit: Devoting your life to your work has it's costs. Because of this, Asher has lost a lot of his ability to socialize and truly enjoy the company of others. Most times his conversations are rather curt and to the point, and recreational activity is not up his lane at all.

{-} Workaholic: Asher is a dedicated workaholic. Often spending anywhere from seventy to eighty hours a week in his lab he is fully committed to his work which has taken over his life. His overworking is starting to cause a noticeable deterioration in his physical and mental health.

APPEARANCE:
Asher has a few noticeable traits which seem recurrent in his families bloodline, Most noticeable is his Raven black hair and crystal blue eyes. His hair, which is usually trimmed short to his head, is a wonderful black, however it is streaked with grey throughout the roots.

Standing a little over six feet, Asher is a stocky man who is just a bit short for his wide build. With shorter legs and a broad chest, he is just tall enough to not draw attention to himself, yet it is something to take notice of. With no visible scars or markings, his tanned skin is relatively unmarred by his years of working in close proximity to ordinance and weaponry.

BIOGRAPHY:
The youngest brother of the late Avius Malvern, Asher is one of the few Malvern's who escaped the slaughter of his family on Serenno, nearly twenty years ago. As a boy, Asher had little to no interest in the hassle of politics and the routine of the nobility, if anything he found most of it boorish and unexciting. Luckily for him, he was the youngest of three boys, and was far from the chance of claiming the title of Count. Of course this did not stop his parents from drilling into him the ways of their House. While his older brothers thrived and enjoyed the life of luxury and privilege, Asher grew to despise it. He felt he had earned and accomplished nothing, and when he was gone all the galaxy would have to remember him is an old statue and his last name.

Asher's youngest years were difficult, not just for him but for any boy of his age. His House had balanced the gap between nobility and Jedi, passing down the teachings of the Light Side for generations. Because of the doubled workload, of both Nobleman and Padawan, Asher's childhood was all but nonexistent. What few hours a week he did get to himself, was spent tinkering with whatever bit of technology had caught his interest that day. A habit that would grow into something far more in his later years.

As he progressed into his teenage years there was the subtle signs of rebellion against his heritage. He would act out at formal dinners, purposely miss important ceremonies, and even skip his Jedi training sessions. In the end, his father washed his hands of him, focusing on his older brothers instead. So his future was left for his mother, Sonia, to decide. Sonia was a proper lady of noble birth and informed Asher it was his duty to choose a profession and field that would best benefit the House. Yet his options seemed as abysmal as always. The choice between a councilman or a diplomat may as well have been a rock and a hard place, because he hated the thought of either position. He also hated the thought of using his family name for gain. However, there was yet time for his decision. No member of his family was released to a field until they had completed their Jedi training, which Asher had yet to do.

As the years went on, Asher's attention would wane more and more, turning from the Force and duty, to that of machinery and weapons. He would often be caught stealing his security details equipment just so he could break it down and put it back together again. For the most part his Mother discouraged, and his father ignored. Hoping the actions were enough to keep him satiated as he grew closer to what they believed was his destiny, they were not.

He shocked everyone on his twenty-third birthday when he revealed his intentions for his life. He would leave Serenno, having gained an intern position with the newly revised Techno Union. Of course, his family never paid much attention, but a close eye showed Asher had a knack for mechanics and technology. Cold-rigging speeders, creating homemade fireworks, and even designing his own droid at twelve, the Techno Union saw him for what he was, a prodigy of science.

His announcement angered his family, his father claiming that if he left he would never be welcome back. His mother stated she had already dismissed him from thought, and that he may as well have been deceased, because he was dead to her. Asher's brothers were slightly more understanding, however in the end neither of them said a kind word to the man, instead they merely offered expectant gazes, as if the outcome were obvious.

When Asher left Serenno he expected to feel some bit of remorse or homesickness. However, he did not. Free from his family he was finally able to take hold of the galaxy on his terms, and it would begin with the Techno Union.
