- Made to Carry: The large emptied out space and lack of any major weapon electronic in the craft allow it to have a large transportation area and carrying capacity.
- Hard Hull: With the lack of major armament and along with being a support/supply/medical vehicle the TUV2L has decent armor and shielding. Such is needed when transporting explosive ordinance or wounded troopers.
- Mass Produced: Easy to make, repair along with the indented mass use of the craft has made it one of the most plentiful craft in the Tythish military means the TUV2L can easily be fielded in large numbers.
- Under Armed: Due to need for space, easy access and a shield generator engine the TUV2L has little in the way of protection, only armed with a HBMG Mk1 to help ward off and potential infantry that get a little close for conform.
History
With constant expansion of the imperial guard and military assets for Tythe development of a basic light logistical vehicles was brought to light. Though the prospect of war was a far off ideal at the time of development for such a craft was still needed when conducting exercises and for helping with the ongoing construction around the planet. Simple in shape, design and robust the TUV2L while not the most visually appealing vehicles does the job it was made for with little problem and is the go to logistical craft used by the military, being assigned to every regiment, mechanized infantry and armored fist companies.
Primary Function
The TUV2L is mainly a support vehicle that acts during military engagements to transport supplies and ammunition to the front lines and in turn transport wounded back to a secure location. Though able to carry passengers it is not really intended for an APC role due to its lack of proper armament, and rely on the protection of designated fighting vehicles to keep safe. In addition the TUV2L can be used to tow heavy equipment like artillery.
