Private Traumatized Emotional Teenagers Do Stupid Things. In Space!

Her eyes flew wide open when his lips touched her's. Oh... Oh yes! A blush blanketed her face as she eagerly reached with her free hand and touched his face. Jackpot! She had won! This was a high risk, high reward game. And the rewards were oh so sweet.

Starvation ached in her. Emotional starvation. She had never been given attention. She had never been cared for or loved. She had no idea what this love thing even was! Yet in moments like this, moments where a dreamy boy showered her with such attention and affection, she actually felt wanted for once. Hence, why she played this game in the first place.

She was simply trying to fill the black hole in her heart.

Perhaps... This time would do it.

She moaned as the kiss ended. "Don't stop..." Before he could pull back, she rocketed off the chair. The chair rattled as it clanged on the floor. She took the sleeves on his arms and pulled him in for another kiss, chuckling in the shallow yet intense enjoyment this gave her. It was one of the few good things she ever felt in her lonely life.

That was the response he wanted. Nothing else mattered. There wasn't someone screaming for help as their home burnt down around them. Someone running through a mine field as strangers took pot shots at them. No, it was just this. A kiss with a cute girl. His first, if he was being honest with himself. And as much as he liked how it felt, it did nothing for the emptiness he felt inside. Maybe he was just too far gone.

He pulled back, fully intent on leaving it there. It was a damn good distraction from his thoughts, but that's all it was. A distraction. Except she seemed to have other ideas. Surprised at first, he didn't return the second kiss. "What the hell.." He half muttered his words against her lips before reaching down to lift the Arkanian from the floor. If she wanted to keep going, what was it going to hurt to let himself stop thinking? A playful grin formed as he carried her back towards the couch. This was fine. This would make him feel better. A distraction they both obviously needed.

Eliz pulled down his helmet, covering the rather conflicted expression he had. It was the last of his armor that he'd found within the cockpit of her ship. All in better condition than he remembered. She must of fixed em while he was out. Another thing to thank her for. He wandered back towards the living area, letting his gaze fall on her sleeping form. Confliction was written across his features, hidden behind the armor. He made a quick hand gesture, which Aubin snapped towards and fell in line beside him. No, he still felt as hollow as ever. The pair descended from the ship, though not without the Ursod looking towards him with obvious confliction.

"It'll be better this way. She doesn't need someone like me around." Aubin lowered his head, not bothering to protest. The pair faded from sight, stealth once again activated as they left Gwyn and her ship behind. The only thing he left was a piece of paper with 'Thanks' written across it.

Was this really what he wanted?

She moaned as she woke up, staring up at the dark ceiling of her ship.

"Hmm, handsome?"

She felt around. No cute boy. Ah, he must have left already. No bother, she had walked out on sleeping partners herself. Still, she felt the same emotions she felt every time she woke up from this. She sighed, closing her eyes again. Well, this was familiar. After all, Eliz had not been her first attempt. Regardless of how hard she tried, however, she always woke up the same.

She was still hollow inside.

Nothing worked. Nothing filled the black hole in her heart. Black holes. The collapsed corpses of stars that had such powerful gravity, even light could not escape them. They devoured, demolished, anything and everything. That... that described how she felt every day. Every single karabasting day.

Tears slipped down her cheeks.

After a moment more of lying pathetically on the couch, she got up and got dressed. No use dwelling on her misery. She just needed to find another boy to chase her demons away for a fleeting moment. She walked past a note that simply said "Thanks." She paused and glanced at it for a moment, then returned to the cockpit. With no more Edgy McHandsome to keep her here, it was time to leave. It was time to leave on her endless quest for something, somewhere, that would make her happy.

The ship took off, and as it left the atmosphere she shed her thoughts on her latest fling. Yet, her eternal emptiness remained. Always.
