HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Formed as a response to the escalating tensions of the galaxy, and to the growing concerns of national defense. A stipulation in the Protectors Accord was to provide funding to each clan to purchase or build a heavy cruiser. As well as to provide military funding for each member clan to have an autonomous ground military capable of protecting whatever territory inside their governed land. Thus, the Tolea Lohba was formed, which means National Guard in basic. With it's duties as being a funded military strictly in control of the clan it is attached too. Allowing the Mandalorian Protector A'lors to better defend the borders of the young national and allowing them to better defend their interests.

Typically these units vary in size due to clan sizes varying. A large clan can confidently field a full division of twenty five thousand warriors, while a smaller clan of two hundred may all be able to field a platoon. While the branch is young, it is considered a respectable way for younger clansmen to get combat experience and to support the young nation of the Mandalorian Protectors without leaving home or their jobs near their families. Considered a widely popular move pushed by the young I'dadr Gargon, who saw many struggling clans that had good training, but needed assistance to be a capable force for the nation.

The decision and move, considered a stepping stone in creating more defensive layer for the nation and support among the clans with a larger amount of autonomy. Surely a strategic move in these trying times.
