To the place where it all began

Enroute to Jakku aboard a Furious class Corvette.
Jakku... Kyrel knew of this world from the time he spent learning in the Imperial Academy, he had recalled learning of the place during a lecture on the rise of the First Order. This was the place where the Galactic Empire died and where the First Order was born. Since the First Order was encroaching upon the system, Kyrel thought it was an excellent idea to explore the planet once more, but what had caught his attention besides the old ruins that were scattered across the desolate landscape was how powerful the dark side was there, and so for weeks before planning his trip down to the surface Kyrel took scans of the planet-finding the source of what he was feeling. Scans showed of an underground facility in connection with the Jakku Observatory. Somehow he had a feeling of where the dark side was coming from and then he set out to make the preparations for his journey.
Now here he was on board a Furious class Corvette en route to the very place where it all began. Finishing some last minute adjustments on his armor, he then moved to the assembly room where would lie a new group of disciples out of the Academy on Skye, a world where the Ren begin training as children, there were none of whom he had met and so this would be the first meeting for both parties. Thinking of them in a way reminded him of himself on how only a couple of years he had gone as a Disciple with little knowledge of the Force and no Master to train him to now a Master himself and the Enforcer of Ren through his devotion to the Supreme Leader and his skills showed during the Imperial Alliance War.
The door opened and the dark figure stepped in, the armor being well known to only a few as the armor that belonged to Lord Vader, but most would not recognize it due to such a time being all but myth and the dreaded 400 year darkness, the man stepped forth, the room being a simple one adorned with a table, and several chairs and in the middle sported a holoprojector, other than that the room was nothing more than a dull gray, The only sound being made was the breathing loudly voiced through the armor as Kyrel looked at each one through the faceless expression of his mask he finally came to a stop at the head of the table. Refusing to sit he merely stood towering over them like a shadow as he gazed at them.
For a moment he remained quiet inspecting each one before finally speaking, his voice displaying nothing and through the mechanical baritone the one thing only one could interpret nothing but a cold chill that came along with the tone that came from the speaker some might even wondering if he was even human. "Greetings Brothers Sisters. I am Kyrel Ren, Master of Ren and Enforcer to the Supreme Leader. Today we embark on a quest that takes you far from the academy, and tests you to see if you are worthy to serve the Supreme Leader and have what it takes to earn the title Ren. We are en route to Jakku, the place where our Empire was born centuries ago, beneath the planet lies an underground facility housing something strange... But something strong in the dark side. You will help me uncover what lies inside the old Imperial Facility. I will tell you this if you have rivalries put them aside as they will only lead to death. Be mindful of surroundings and expect the unexpected as it would be essential to your survival. Aid one another as together we Ren are brothers and sisters in the Force with only one will, and that is the Supreme Leader's will and different and better than both the Jedi and Sith. And one final thing... Attempt to challenge me in any way be it through some desperate grab for power or a show of superiority, or even through sheer foolishness... I will not hesitate to end you."
He paused at the last sentence and stopping letting the words sink in through the group, and then decided to add after a moment of silence. "Now if any of you wish to speak do it now and if you may tell me of yourselves so I can know you." He said looking at each one waiting for someone to speak knowing that they would be arriving at their destination soon.

Sitting at the table the man leaned back. He was not alone. Around him sat several other individuals. What set him apart at first glance was that most wore armor with weapons brazenly at their sides. Seeing these beings one immediately knew they were warriors and fighters, efficient soldiers who knew that through their ability and might change could unfold.

It was one of the reasons the Ren had chosen them.

He, on the other hand, leaned back in his chair with a leg folded across one knee and nursing a cup of tea. His dark blue suit contrasted with the armaments of his companions. And while lightsaber hilts, blasters, and other tools of war were readily seen in his allies the man sat with his cane resting gently against his thigh.

He appeared out of place, likely more at home in the boardroom of a company then among Darkside warriors on a pilgrimage to the origins of their Order. And yet a taste of his presence in the Force declared he was right where he should be.

As [member="Kyrel Ren"] entered and moved to the front of the table the man removed his shades, eyelids drooping, while he removed the stark, white handkerchief from his breast pocket and began to cleanse the lenses. Ears listened to the words coming from the Ren as he slowly slipped the shades back on, a flash of bright, blue pupils surrounded by a crimson red briefly being seen before once more his eyes were hidden behind the ever present shades.

Taking his cup of tea he examined the group's benefactor as he continued speaking. Being an avid historian his sharp eyes recognized the armor wore by the Ren. The Darkside had many legacies left throughout time and the man before then chose the mantle of a long deceased Sith named Darth Vader. As his mind flickered through information he remembered the ancient history of the First Order from whence it had first become prominent. Mildly the man wondered if there was a familial tie to the choice, but lack of information made him shrug and catalog the question away for another day.

When the Ren stated his warning for those contemplating challenging him, for a moment he felt an elation rush through his body. The thought of combat with the Ren, to test one another's mettle, to strive against a worthy adversary ... It was almost a pleasing idea. But he wasn't there for that. A slight curve at the corner of his cold lips was all the amusement he would show as he lightly sipped the tea. This was about unity, as the Ren had stated, not about superiority nor the clash of combatants. He was here to become part of something, potentially greater then he was, so he would toe the proverbial line.

As the Ren finished his speech he asked if any would care to say a few words. Then expressed his desire to get to know the ones gathered around the table. Taking another drink of his tea he narrowed hidden eyes for but a moment. He knew that the First Order would surely have a dossier on each and every one of them. And for the individuals looking to join the Ren, the information gathered would surely be much more in depth. Perhaps it was a test to see exactly who would speak. To see who would raise their voice to the Ren Master.

Minutely shrugging he set his tea cup upon the table and disengaged his folded legs and, taking his cane with his left hand, stood. His right hand lightly smoothed the front of his suit as he turned his head to look at each gathered before focusing once more upon the Ren. "I am Nemesis. I have trained with Sith, Jedi, Sorcerers ... and yet have not found a place that mirrors my meager convictions, nor speaks to me as a worthy cause. I am here, now, of my own volition. Yes I seek power and knowledge as do any that want to grow and evolve. Yet I'm willing to become part of something greater, if it truly is greater. The Galaxy is filled with pretentious pretenders and mirages of worth. If the Ren are true, then they shall have another ally to add to their ranks." Slowly he took his seat, eyes and other senses carefully viewing not only the Ren Master but also the others joined at the table. While his words were not meant to be inflammatory he could well understand a lesser mind finding offense in his statement. It would have been easy to speak words of rallying, blind fervor to the Ren cause. But that was not who he was. When he spoke it was freely and truthfully. Especially in a situation, such as this, where foundations were to be built.

The tall, hooded figure dressed in dark robes with no distinguishable features to show his identity sat at the end of the table furthest from the door in which Kyrel entered from. His long, slender forearms clad in plasteel vambraces with metal talon like features at the ends of his fingertips would be resting on the table, his hands clasped together as he silently kept to himself. A pair of handles could be seen extending from behind either side of his waist, followed by a curved blade that was seen on the opposite sides. If one were to look behind Zul they would realize they were a pair of sickle like weapons that were unique to him.

Zul did not heed much to the presence of his fellow Disciples present in the room, seeming to be in deep thought underneath that hood of his that had obscured his face entirely. Only when Kyrel had entered the room did he lift his head slightly, his face still masked in dark shadows as he stared at the new presence. There was no doubt in Zul's mind that he was the eldest of this group of young adults and even a child, but nonetheless, he respected each for their dedication to a calling of the Ren. He watched in silence as Kyrel spoke of their purpose on this particular expedition and what was to be expected of them.

As Kyrel finished his short speech, it seemed one of the Disciples spoke up to introduce himself, seemingly eager to get introductions out of the way. Zul stared in abject silence as they spoke and introduced himself; in such a manner that seemed pompous, conceited even, to Zul, but a thought he kept to himself. The former Inquisitor of the Empire would continue to stare at the man until he finished speaking before his head turned back to the center of the table, remaining still and unmoving once more.

It wasn't long since she joined up with the Knights of Ren as a disciple, She chose them because how they operated and worked it felt like she was back home with her coven again although she will have to find a new person to model herself off of now that she's no longer with the Chosen now she was here with a new cult like creation to follow and work with in the hopes that she can do well as she listened to the armored mechanized beast before them, She could tell that he was in charge and he meant every word he said and that there was something on Jakkuu to be found that will require team work. Fortunately for her she was trained to work in a unified group so this wont be too much of a issue for her but it was the others that she wondered about , She knew little about her new lifestyle only that they were opposite of the Vahl and sith in a myriad of ways with some similarities. But she gripped her pike abit as she listened nodding to ensure to the others that she understood what was being said and didnt look like she was dozing off.

Doran sat at the right of the far side of the table, his gloved hands lazily twlirling his black lightsaber hilt back and forth between his fingers. He laid his head completely back into the cushioned chair, his black booted feet propped up on the table. His hood and mask were off revealing his entire face. His mask sat atop the dark table alongside his legs and he looked up at the ceiling with an impatient frown. He looked around and observed the other disciples, the one that intrigued him most was the one sitting next to him. The dark robed figure had completely concealed his face under his hood. Without looking at the man he asked "You don't talk much do you?" The hooded figure responded with silence. Doran looked at him with a sarcastic frown and chuckled "Well you're boring."

Suddenly the sliding doors opened to reveal a dark armored figure who strode into the room and observed the disciples. Doran continued staring at the ceiling and twirling his saber. The man introduced himself as "Kyrel Ren" a master of Ren. He explained the mission to the group and asked for introductions. Before Doran could say his name a man, older than most in the group, spoke up. He was called Nemesis. Doran concealed a laugh and thought to himself, Nemesis? That's a dumb name. After he finished speaking Doran turned his head to Kyrel and shot his hand into the air. "Hi, I'm Doran." He turned to the hooded behind him and leaned towards Kyrel, pointing at the man behind him. He loudly whispered sarcastically "Don't bother with him, he's a quiet one." He leaned back in his chair and quietly chuckled. This would be a fun trip.

Aurora studied each individual carefully, already getting to know how each individual ticked. Dorian's oozing confidence he seemed so proud to show amused her and she thought maybe this could be used to her advantage, giving him a quick wink before the doors opened.
As Kyrel Ren entered she took note on how each member responded, making sure she kept her back straight and face void of emotion. She did not yet know how this master operated and didn't dare to risk starting off on the wrong foot. However she kept herself composed and when he was finished, addressed Kyrel herself, keeping steady eye contact with him as she spoke.
"I am Aurora sir. I will serve until my dieing breath."

Jakku was warm.

That was Novus being brutally honest. Jakku was extremely warm. Then again, it was a desert planet so it was to be expected. Eveery desert planet was the same, sandy and extremely warm. The heat was annoying. His old body had been better and more adapted to the heat. The child body didn't really cope with the heat as well. The heat was painful, he could feel it burning his skin. He had to ignore it though, he had a job to do that he needed to do.

The trail of blood followed him through the small settlement. He had been based at the settlement for a few days, slowly planning his next move. Eventually, the elder had caught wind that two of his villigers were missing. Some settlers had broken down the door to the shack Novus had been using. He didn't want to kill them, but they wouldn't leave him alone. They now lay in the doorway with scorch marks and cauterised cuts across the chest.

Then the settlement had to fall.

The elder was begging at Novus' feet. Everyone else was dead. Novus hardly heard him begging, he was focused on one thing. He raised the shoto above his head, bringing it down. The elder split clean in two, no blood. Novus began to cackle, it sounded pathetic in his child voice. It was almost amazing that a simple child had executed an entire settlement, but the darkside did amazing things to those who believed in it.

He crouched, and grinned.

Note: This is a plot devised by me and Kyrel, it'll become important later.

As Kyrel looked to each one, he noticed two women both strong in the Force, a hooded figure and two men. So far the initiates seemed to carry great potential about them, but whether they were worthy of serving alongside the other Ren, and to be known as fellow brothers and sisters of the dark side. Upon looking at them, Kyrel for a moment faced a flashback of himself when he was a Disciple, it was only two years ago of course, but to him, it felt like an eternity. He had not reached the potential that he had now, in fact, he had no Master as he had gained his position through pure skill and dedication to the Order.

He gave his apprentice a glance before looking at the others. "Interesting... Many of you have come from different walks of life, but all of you have come for one single purpose. To become worthy to serve the Supreme Leader.... We will be arriving shortly I hope you all take this mission very seriously it may be yet your first step in a larger world.

He said as he looked to them all, no one in particular but making sure everyone got the message, as he walked out of the room and towards the cockpit, in that moment the proximity alarm came on, dropping the Furious Class out of Hyperspace and above the world, the Furious descended onto the planet slowly before landing in a position close to the Observatory, wreckage from the battle centuries ago still remained. As the landing ramp opened for the Ren to step out, Kyrel could sense yet another dark signature here, skeptical of who it might be, and knowing it wasn't far from their goal he started to lead the group towards it, it leads to the ruins of a village which made him very curious Who knows who or what lied ahead.

The dark side was powerful.

There was no denying that. The usage of the darkside currupted the body and the mind while providing unlimited power to the weilder. Novus had tried omce to pass that knowledge on to a group of young force users. Those young force users were all dead. The Jedi had executed those young force users. That was but another thing that came via the usage of the dark side, the enemies. The light and dark were destined to be at war until the galaxy stopped exisiting. The light and dark would be fighting until the galaxy ceised to exist.

The Sith needed to band together to survive.

Novus had realised that after the fight on Nar Shaddar. His flee to Jakku was so he could ponder, so he could think about what his next move would be. His life had been different since his death. The collapse of the One Sith and then his death, that had changed him. His rebuilding and failed cloning as a child had also proved difficult in the galaxy. It was difficult as a child in the galaxy.

He closed his eyes, and waited. He could feel a presence close by.

He was interested.
